Why is every other couple but Johee and Lee Tae Hwan's character resolved? They get so little screentime and there are two episodes left but no significant progress in their relationship? I believe the writer had no faith in the character of Johee because this is sad at this point.
Dali (FL) is such a mary sue. She always has someone there to save her/help her and she makes the dumbest decisions ever (episode 8, in particular, pissed me off. ) Truth be told none of this would have bothered me (the greatest love is one of my favorites and she always needs help). It's just that Dali is incredibly self-righteous a lot of times. Thank god for Kim Min Jae's character because he's the only reason I"m going to continue to watch.
People kept saying he's typecast and he's proving he's far from that with this role (and the priest). The plot is ridiculous but I'm also really curious on how this show is going to turn out.
I had to drop. The second LI (brother and sister) of both the ML and FL ruin the drama for me. When a person constantly says they aren't interested in you then listen, don't keep trying to get them to fall for you when it's pretty clear their heart is with someone else. I was trying to ignore it for the most part, but after a while, it's started to get dark and weird. (The paths someone takes when someone isn't into you is scary, I just don't get it.)
This is a good standard 7/10 romcom. There were a few drawbacks (the obsessive repetitive flashbacks of the same scenes every episode, the snail crawl of simple interaction i.e falling, kissing, hugging...also the storyline was as basic as could be. I would have given it an eight if the storyline could have been better but the couple is cute and I loved their interactions.
Episode 3 was so slow and draggy. Not much really happened. The fourth episode was an improvement and as a romance lover to the core, I have to say I wish the romance between Son Ye-jin character and her LI was a lot less. It's too much and the guy gets more screen time than Joo Hee (which is ridiculous) I want more focus on all three friends like the poster suggests. The club scene was gold and I felt pure embarrassment while watching the ladies dance.
My face was completely dry watching the second episode. I don't care enough about the character to feel upset about her diagnosis plus she has the worst storyline of the three. Joo Hee is my favorite one so far. I find her the most relatable and her future LI seems cute. Just finished the second episode and I do think it's good so far.
