Seiun doesn’t care about fighting nor does he want to. He’s small and frail so it makes sense. And yes in the source material Donald is the strongest and can’t be beat

Me too. My favorite kdrama of all time tied with bloodhounds, but after 2 episodes I’m feeling extremely disappointed. Feels very different, less intense and significance

I have to disagree on the intensity and greatness, at least for the first 2 episodes. No where near the quality or intense craziness of season 1. Episode one had se-iun brutally beating and stabbing the 3 bullies but he hasn’t done a single thing in 2 episodes besides let a chump like Choi beat on him. Episode where he has to fight and is getting jumped and suho comes to rescue was so much better action and intenseness than Ben jumping 20 feet in the air and hitting Choi with a basketball after a weak fight between the rest. I reaaaally hope it steps it up later

Damn did they do vigilante dirty like that? I enjoyed it but didn’t know it was rushed, that’s super annoying. Yeah bloodhounds will likely be an original story but it sounds good at least and has rain. Idk man I feel like 99% of Korean shows are one hit wonders and they fumble the ending or sequel season so bad

I love weak hero but cmon lol season 2 is not a 10/10. That implies it’s perfect but there’s a lot of issues and a clear downgrade from season 1

I think the big issue right off the bat for weak hero 2 is they’re focusing on Choi who’s really just a weak peon with minimal significance in the story. Odd decision tbh and makes the first couple episodes feel like filler/waste especially compared to season 1 that opened with an intense and crazy first episdoe

Yeah every other place you rate stuff like IMDb or rotten tomatoes or my anime list etc a 7 is good and 8 is great. Series rarely get 9s or 10s. I think kdrama fans like to rate things as if they’re perfect band if not they consider it bad lol very different outlooks I guess

They need to learn how to film back to back or get production rolling quicker lol and tbh I’m sure fans have unfortunately passed before season 2 could even be released so that’s not really an excuse to flesh the story out

It can. They could’ve built up to the union and did a season 3 it would’ve allowed for more character development (and more characters in general) tbh they probably should’ve just did an original story kinda like season 1 and maybe skip the union and just focused on one reaaaally bad school or something

I’ve only seen the first 2 eps but compared to episode 1 of season 1 it was… lackluster to say the least. Feels very different and kinda less impactful. Hoping that changes

Yeah I def don’t use the kdrama mentality when ranking 😂 a 7 to me is a good/fun watch but nothing special. 8 was really good with some flaws etc although weak hero is one of my favorites so I guess I expect more from a series of this caliber
