Yes but it’s a bit ridiculous that the background season with mostly original material is so much better than adapting the actual source, especially if they decide to go and do season 3

I guess I could see if you’re not a fan of dark and upsetting things. But in terms of quality of the show season 1 is leaps and bounds better. I enjoy more brutal/dark tones so but i can def see others not enjoying that stuff haha

It’s crazy but you’re right lol the more I think about it the more they should’ve just did their own story for season 2 so a potential 3rd season in the vein of season 1 would go hard. It would have to come out faster than 3 years though haha

I still love si-eun and the music but the new cast and villains don’t have time to shine or develop so everything feels forced and uninspired. Very disappointed, the fighting also isn’t as good as season 1 idk how people are saying that. It’s very generic while season 1 felt alot more unique

Study group was average at best. The fighting was terrible and over the top, I wouldn’t compare study group to weak hero season 1 at all, I liked the characters but I can’t stand the slo mo super hero type fighting. But it seems weak hero season 1 is more serious and gritty with great grounded fighting, but season 2 is a step down

And si-eun has always been quiet but he also whooped a lot of ass in season 1

3 episodes in and dang nothing really happened this entire time besides the Donald stuff at the end of ep 3. For such a forced rushed adaptation they sure didn’t do much with their first 3 episodes. I have a feeling it’s just gonna jumble together so quickly it’ll feel flat and uninspired

Even the Donald fight was kinda.. meh? People have been saying the fighting is better but I don’t see it yet

If they are a Netflix orginal they release all at once. I’m guessing if it’s also airing on tv or another streaming place they can’t release all at once

They did the entire 200+ chapters in only 8 episodes of they do a season 3 it will be completely original story so I don’t think so

I think I’m lining up with your review. I’m leaning towards a 6/10. No where near the quality of season 1 in pretty much every category

Might as well be they skipped 70% of the webtoon and alot of characters. Rushing the whole main story to make a random season 3 would be so annoying

Nah lol what’s the point? If they were doing 3 seasons then this season should’ve been build up to the union
