Knowing how amazing their chemistry is I’m becoming aggravated at how little their story line is on 2gether.…
I am glad I am not the only one who feels let down with the 2gether storyline after watching this. But they aren't the main couple . :( Our Skyy is definitely on my list to watch next! I also love Pick and Rome so looking forward to that too!
Reading all the poor reviews I was pleasantly surprised after watching this. The chemistry between the boys is great and they filmed it well to create that chemistry in the beginning episodes. I wasn't actually convinced watching 2gether that these two work together, but they are so hot here. This is different to watching standard Thai BL stories though. There is a hint of more depth going on and anyone who watches it has to use their brain more than one would when watching other BL dramas and use inference and patience until things are revealed. Only thing is I noticed around ep 6 that they started to rush and take shortcuts in the story line. The filming quality is also pretty bad throughout. Poor sound production, poor camera focusing. It gives me the impression that they were really working with very little. But none of the acting annoyed me. They were just very rushed so you have to fill in the blanks yourself which isn't hard to do as the side characters tend to follow the same cliche plot so I didn't mind not getting more though it would have been nice.
I really need to find Eng Translation of this novel. It seems like it has a lot more potential.
After watching so much BL, this is think is the first time I saw real kissing. Impressive. I just don't know how their filming schedule was so off when the other shows airing at the same time managed to put everything together. That was the most rushed show I have ever seen and I have seen short series of 3-5 episode work in more character and relationship development in shorter time.
I dropped this drama as soon as I found out it was a remake of well intended love 1, but Is it worth watching?…
The best part about season 1 was how much of a hot mess it was! They really stripped it down with this and reference season 1 a lot for fan service but I don't feel the developments in relationships between characters are as good as the first because they've taken shortcuts because we have seen it before. There is also a tonne of product placement in this. I am only half way through but since I have the time these days I will see how it goes.
Do I need to watch Season 1 to understand Season 2? I was skeptical to watch Season 1 because of the comments…
You don't but it plays with fan service and nostalgia from season 1 with lots of references to it that might not make sense on its own in this one. The first one was a hot mess which made it so much fun and enjoyable. I have just started Season 2 but its quite tame in comparison.
That is the show itself. It does it on a few occasions. Like when brother black gave life back to that teacher…
Maybe the rock thing did it. Strange. Seems worse after he got out. I am very aware it is supposed to be BL, but beside the BL aspect so much else is different. Untamed was very very close to the books in comparison despite also changing the BL part. Oh well. Will see. Got nothing but time during this isolation period. lol

The ghosts lover that was stuck in that rock and is now an archivist. I have reached ep 28 now. I will continue to push through. I have watched similar quality things before with no problems but its just jumpy in places. I guess I expected more after reading people comparing it to Untamed which seems to have a bigger budget. I have started to read the novel. Im on Ch 11. Its a very different story in terms or characters , setting and well... everything. Seems more promising. There are too much eye candy in the series though to stop watching it! Old Zhu is yum. LOL

Thanks! Am I to also assume that bringing that guy back also created his speech impediment? He seemed fine talking before? It's almost like they don't have the money to shoot these scenes. That was a big omission though. I don't even remember a conversation about the side effects of the resurrection. Even some scene are missing special effects which I know are expensive to do so I do give it a pass but sometimes it makes the scene confusing until I realise I am supposed to imagine something is glowing. Either it's expensive or they just forgot to put it in in post production. lol
I am currently watching Guardian on Viki and I am wondering about something. I feel l am missing scenes. Is this true on Viki or is it how it is? I can't remember or list all the scenes that this happens but just now in ep 11 Ge Lan was pleading to return her love's energy to physical form, the next scene is the battle with the green monsters outside and then it jumps to the next scene and the lover is back like nothing happened? It keeps jumping like this in places with no explanation and I was wondering if its the show itself or Viki or they being cheap or what?
I think I shouldnt watch this if this is same with Grey Rainbow ending based on review. That is the last bl ive…
OMG I can not get Grey Rainbow out of my head since over two years now! This does remind me of that but did not traumatise me as much as Grey Rainbow did. Perhaps GR prepared me for this? Who knows. Its has beautiful moments in it though. Really nice chemistry.
Because it was a cheap ending that was unnecessary... Like, they didn't earn that ending, if that makes sense.…
I think it was a necessary ending. You can pretty much tell from the title and the circumstances of the characters that it was not going to end well. It was annoying that it was not clear and they played with us a bit when we knew that he didn't make it. But it gave gravitas to the point of the story and the message it was trying to convey and absolutely to character development. This was amazing character development that I have seen in a long time. Really good pacing for it. Make your days count!
I don't know if you have decided yet. But let me tell you that out of all the History series, this is the worst.…
The whole message of the entire story was about making your days count. It would be meaningless without the ending it had. Not all stories can be and should be happy ever afters because life is not a fairytale and if you want to make a poignant and meaningful story with a message, you have to tell that story whether it ends sad or not. You need to give the audience impact to relay the message and point of the story. I am so sad for the couple but it was inevitable but it really made the whole story and those happy moments really meaningful. Life is short. You just marry the love of your life and have a new born and the universe takes your partner away. Things like this really happen. The struggle is real. I think maybe when you are young and you haven't had much life experience it is hard to understand such concepts that is why every time there is a sad ending particularly for a BL/ LGBT movie, everyone rates it low. I know historically these genres always get sad endings but it has drastically improved. But when it works for the story, then I am all for it. HIStory tend to do happy endings so I know they are not biased there. It's nice to have variety. Gosh, it reminds me of Grey Rainbow though. OMG I am still traumatised years after watching that! It was so good though but yeah I don't think I have the heart to watch it ever again. It's like frikking poetry though. So beautiful but so heartbreaking.
I think this was awesome. Best History so far even though I saw the ending coming and I hate it!! But it had to happen because of the trajectory of the story and purpose of character development. I didn't just cry in the end. There were several times during it that I cried too. The actors were great. I wasn't convinced I would like them but they worked so well together and the chemistry was wonderful. OMG I am still so sad though! Even though I had an inkling... the journey to that point made it so poignant. OMG I'm so sad.
Being a Single Father in Korea (Asian Boss): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=486bxVeDpIo
Exactly, I am glad I saw this when they posted it and now I started this drama it made so much sense and deeper meaning to the situation and considerations of these characters. I was not as shocked as others who have watched it wondering why dating a single dad is so bad.
Honestly, is dating a single parent such a terrible sin in Korea? If so, what a difference compared to the U.S.
Well if you watch Asian Boss on youtube, they interviewed a single father and you see how much suffering they go through because society and sometimes even the law doesn't recognise or accept them.
Same ! When they were crossing the street, I was afraid of an accident, something really dramatic
OMG, EVERY SINGLE TIME there is a road crossing scene in any KDrama, my heart races! Doesn't even matter what kind of drama it is, comedy or romance or whatever. It instantly builds suspense and I hold my breath. I cannot enjoy the moment of whatever they are trying to convey because I just automatically brace for an impact from a vehicle.
