All I can say is, Gun is an amazing actor and really should transcend the small BL scene into more meatier roles in dramas and movies. I love his cutesie BL roles especially with Off, but there is too much talent there. I want to see him in bigger and more challenging roles because I thin he can handle it really well.
That 4th episode cameo wanted to kill me eh?! My poor heart! This was very sweet and good and I don't usually watch Japanese dramas, but they sure do know how to do serious LGBT dramas.
This was an easy and cute watch. I don't know why they felt they had to paint on the MLs sideburns. Thats the only thing that truly distracted me sometimes. I was thinking the MLs mother was unrealistic in her feelings towards him until I watched an episode fo Judge Judy and realise mothers can be like that towards their child so I let it go. But as usual they rushed the end. They did great slow character development work on both the male and female lead so they grew nicely and then just rushed all the intricate webs into nothingness in the last 3-4 episodes. I liked the friends and the relationships.
Of course this also suffers from the same old tropes - jealous evil girl and boy doing despicable things of which they get no punishments. I am pretty sure the jealous girl hired people to beat him up and he still hired her into his company as if nothing happened? Yes the FL is silly and naive trope - at least they built it into a character that developed. She had her moments. She, like many young girls, got trapped in a habit and convinced that she loved her friend and he must like her because he is kind to her and she deep down knows he doesn't reciprocate, but is in denial. I like that the story had her confess to him and her journey to let go of that habit so she can see the person who does like her.
Both the ML and FL characters changed well together. It didn't feel forced because they took their time about it. But the rushing of the last few episode was disappointing. I wish the resolution between the mother and son was more than it was and the fathers murder was nothing as devious as we all were thinking. Just a home robbery apparently. I don't why the big secret though. And as usual with all these Cdramas, they like to twist the knife in by having bad things happen on someones birthday and lovers paths having crossed decades ago several times before they truly meet. One day I hope to watch something where this doesn't happen.
The Koreans really know how to make BL and act! Glad they are making more of this genre now because they do it so well. These guys are amazing actors and the concept "where your eyes linger" is well executed by the directing and acting.
what a foolish drama. so someone just kidnapped a superstar and dropped him in water and didn't file a polic complaint…
If you are talking about the first ep, to be fair the guy who took the picture only sent it to his friend he knows is a big fan of his and happens to be the girl who kidnapped him and threw him in the river. I'm just surprised he survived that dropped uninjured and yeah didn't call the police.
Johnny is in a new drama called Love Designer and I dunno if I could take watching him in anything else. My heart remembers. But looks interesting though. I will try and wrap my head around him not being Gu Hai anymore. I dont know if I am ready year though its been years.

I finished it. They started on this seal thing and releasing her powers and they never brought it up again. I read somewhere that she was cursed and her curse would be lifted and she becomes a powerful martial artist. I can't remember where I read that anymore. I was hoping and waiting for that legend of Fuyao moment where she becomes powerful and benevolent. Perhaps this happens in the novel, perhaps not. It was interesting enough to pass the time. Didn't really feel for any of the couples though.

I am only on episode 6 or so, but I am confused about the warning he got in episode 1 about getting rid of his emotions and feelings as that will have consequences . Is that why he seems to be in poor health?
They pretty much used Pak and Mild to sell us this crap. It's like amateurs acted and filmed this once they couldn't afford Pak and Mild anymore. I am actually questioning if what is on Youtube is actually real or someone is playing a joke on us.
This is the funniest BL I have ever watched! It is super simple and predictable but all the actors and actresses did a good enough job and I lmao! I could tell they all having fun though which made it fun to watch. Its not a show to take too seriously. That first episode was a bit confusing and so WTF but in a good and hilarious way! Love Mind love Thor and Pak was in a towel pretty much 1 whole episode. I laughed so much! Great fun and great moments.
