In the moment i too expected some verbal confrontation about it. Its very common way to start " final confrontation". But I think there are reasons why it did not happen. 1. James never shown he cares why his dad was killed. And he knows/treats this killing as a work of a serial killer (which Chita is), those never have any reasoning worth listening too.
2. We as viewers already know Chitas motives and his answer to James would have been probably variation of "how should i know who your father was?". This is a waste of time dialog. And nour only waste time on relative to main theme of it.

On one hand i agree - i despise dramas were sole conflict boils down to people unable to communicate. But i dont feel the same way with nour because most unsaid stuff dont really affect the plot.
And limited perspective/unreliable narrator by itself is not a bad thing. But i see how it can be frustrating.

They rely heavily on limited perspectives - we dont know what characters dont know and also information is not transfered between characters if there is no reason for it. Chita only tald his story and motivation to dr. , so both Ken and James have no idea (especially since Chita also killed very not nour Tangme). James probably so used to his abilities that he does not question them. And for viewers its easy to make a connection of nourkiller-dead dad-special abilities into half nour, but not for James in story.
Its roughly the same with his vision. It was a short scene he saw when experiencing clinical death for a couple of seconds. It was for audience, not forhim to realize some deep connection.

I dont think he knew. Definitely not from the start (and i dont think Chita let anyone exept doctor know about his hunting habbits). I think most probable is him connecting dots after (like going "was my dad nour, is this how i survived"), but not in the moment. I don't think he would care one way or the other.

Sorry, just most "critics" sound like they dislike this show because they dont understand it. Half of complains are about things that are pretty clear when you pay attention. But at the same time truly weak point are almost never mentioned. This is indeed very annoying.

James never wanted to ask questions about why. He wanted revenge, there was nothing to indicate that James entertained some redemption ark for his father killer. Why would he?

And this show was definitely not about revenge at all. Its just an excuse to get James to Ken. That part is not important, literally who cares. In what world wasting time on "why did you do it" "because thats what i do" would have made it any better?..

Whos weak motivation? Chita hates nours. He does not need to hate James father in a special way. I would even argue that having extra ties to him would have diluted that hate Chita feels. Same for James, why would he care why some guy burned his dad to death?
But if you disagree, can you please explain why? What explanation in your eyes is necessary? What would have made it better?

I mean there are things that can be done better. If they got more episodes to work with, than part with new cop from Bangkok could be more than short cameo. They would be able to show passage of time a bit more clearly, develop next generation plot, maybe even show some other cases instead of just mentioning them once. But all this would not fit in episodes we had and what they show us more important to the story.

Things that are unexplained, left to interpretation, limited perspective or implied are not the same as plot holes.
And no offense, but its pretty clear why Chita never looked rainbow to James, for example.
Plot hole, by definition is something that contradicts the rest of the story or a mistake. Worst nour does is a muddy timeframe (and that is only bad in 2 scences)

What would explaning that death change? Chita just killed nours, James dad was not special, Chita did not even recognized James. That is the point, the killing Chita did do not hold any meaning, he just burns with anger.

He wants Ken to learn to love life itself. Not only stay with James, but treasure the gift of live, instead of rotting in misery.

Both endings are perfect. I dont understand how people keep missing all the subtle beauty of the ending.

He did that because she was a threat to doctor. He did not purposely hunt her. Since James dad was killed at their home, Chita must have hunted him.
