I dont get why you insist that me liking Mind more is "not looking under surface". This is really condescending especially since i did not say why i like Mind or that he is a perfect angel, he is just free of controlling parents and death threats and you completely ignored my point about Krit being manipulative. I would have been more interesting than a rant how "love rival" is not good, as if story like that would allow a love rival better than ml to exist.

Ah, how to explain better. I am not saying that Krits actions are sudden or surprising (he, unlike Sky, is pretty consistent), i am saying that depending on what he knows about his father same actions can be seen (by us) differently.

Personally me - i hate that trope and that type of character. Both indecisive in beginning and sacrificing (but hurting others) in the end. Wayu just hook up with Mind and run away from this bullshit!!
BUT. That was subjective me-only sentiment. It does not mean that i do not see Krit's journey. I just dislike how it portrayed in the show. Partly because i have low tolerance for this kind of plot, partly because some things that i find horrid are obviously ment to be cute. For example do you think Krit setting up payed baby sitter for Singho as a nice gesture or as alarming manipulation?..

They choose great actor for Sky. 10 out of 10, no notes.

Oh, listen. Sorry if my English is wierd i am not native. But I was not talking about if viewer shoud be suspicious of dad. I was talking about Krit as a character whi can both know less or more than a viewer and his behavior should reflect what he knows at the moment, not what we know after finishing the story.

At the time of episode 9 what dad did later is not relevant. If Krit did not know outcome, we cannot justify his hesitation to come out with it. I hope you get what i am trying to say.

If he just did not want to upset his parents, its one thing, if he knew his dad is a corrupt heartless monster - its another.

I think you a building a lot of your argument from the context book have provided you. Show dont tell is nice, and some crumbs of what you are mentioning is also in tv show. But. From what we see as tv only - its possible to get another interpretations on what is happening. Especially since i the show we also have a lot of stupid. Like Sky inconsistency. Or horrible "undercover" mission. Or the way they did Pete subplot.
Show is very pretty, so nice to look at actors and scenery both. I do like it. But is better script a lot to ask?

What i honestly want to ask you, if you dont mind, is how in the book Krirs behavior us explained. He knows how his father is, heknows that he cant keep his lover a secret (he lost Pete because of it, should be enough of a hint) he promised Wayu to take care if him forever. What was the plan originally?

In passing means it was not a focus of their fight for example. We only introduced to "dad is dangerous for Wayu" in episode 9 out of nowhere insted of it being build up before (lets say when we got Pete subplot). And even then the threat is so vague Krit just looks like a coward. Once again, i can see how it can be done better in book, but in the show they fumbled.

Maybe what you wrote is in the book, but they definitely faild to show it in the series. Considering how dad threatening Wayu was just mentioned in passing, this is not surprising at all.

Novel plot deserves 4 seasons and a movie, honestly... I desperatly hope they will pull it off and them going to Thailand (and to BoC) is not a coincidence.

Ending is not bad, its just a very first season ending, so most of the plot is... left for other seasons. Novel is not clearly separated into parts (unlike, for example, Silent Reading), so they had to choose when to stop and the choice is not bad.

Depending on your definition of proper. Msin pair have a hot make out session for main pair, but its in a dream. Second pair have sex, but its shown as a flash back. Both are pretty hot (imo), but in general this show is for slow burn lovers...

Vier listened to the call between kidnappers and Kelvin (its the saving part he mostly missed due to being half dead), so there is no need for extra people telling Vier that Kelvin left him to kidnappers mercy. And I think Viers dad told him that Kelvin informed him about kidnapping and helped the police (but i am not 100% sure and not rewatching it).
Another thing - there is not really a person in the story that will fit your theory (close to Vier, present in both timelines, still alive, interested in breacking them up, ets). And it will be redundant to add someone like this just for what? Make Kelvin a bit more palatable?

That deal was not for "them", that was for Kelvin only even if it was a kind of joined project. But most importantly - Kelvin abandoned Vier at most crutial moment. And not only he choose not to listen to kidnappers, Vier listend to it in real time.
The fackt that he did take part in saving operation later and even regretted his actions does not negate that initial bertrayal. And Vier is a person who would have never choose buisness over a person dear to him.

for the first one - no matter what Kelvin says when kidneppers called him about Vier first time he did not drop everything to save Vier, he went on to do a buisness meeting first (it was shown clearly to us), and after that he "helped" Vier father to save Vier, but that help also led to Viers family company going near bankrupcy. It is even worse in the books.
Its possible that Kelving is not technically lying and he did risk something saving Vier, but then it was after he made sure his own plans are going smothly.

for now loophole is - all chinese cast and prodaction, but it relises as from non chinese company and goes as "forein" in mailand China - there are several shows like that already and more to come (I personaly recommend Kill to Love and To my shore)
