No matter if it's in the novel, in the show, or...in whichever lifetime, Miss Mo (or...Zi Ling) getting jealous of Han Li with other women will never change lol
FYI it's called 不问 by 何亮 and imo it's the best song in the entire OST. IIRC it doesn't get played again…
Technically speaking, no, but she reincarnated in (season 2) and became quite powerful + beautiful. Don't feel sad about Miss Mo, from what I've read (about 100 chapters just now, right after EP30), she'll pretty much be the main FL of season 2 lol. (go read the book, it's great)
Guyss will there be another MISS MO THEME SONG from episode 26-30?Heard it 3 times in this drama at Eps 5,16&23.…
FYI it's called 不问 by 何亮 and imo it's the best song in the entire OST. IIRC it doesn't get played again towards the end but I think it will be played...quite a lot, in season 2 (wink wink) (reading the book rn)
Depends on which version you're talking about lol. The CN version can be found on Qidian or in physical form, Idk about ENG ver. I'm currently reading the CN version for the OG sauce though. Pretty good so far.
Dang the book is actually pretty good! (although I skipped practically 360+ chapters, the settings are different anyway lol, starting straight from the Sea of Stars)
I guess imma start from chapter 363 of the OG novel (cn ver.), surprisingly Xuan Er seems to be pissed at Han Li in the novel because of Hongfu? (I'm so confused, is the MC's harem really that outrageously big in the book...?)
Finished the whole season, objectively speaking, I kinda agree with the 8.2 rating. Maybe 8.4-8.5 would be better. Also, maybe...no offense, change the FL to someone else. Gina Jin got overshadowed by literally every other female character in the show. Both Cai Huan and Xuan Er absolutely outclassed her in terms of chemistry and visuals. It's not even close. (let's be real, do you see literally anyone online, internationally or in China, rooting for Nangong Wan and Han Li?)
Other than that, considering how much money they spent on CGI, they really need to step their game up. It's acceptable but nothing amazing. The flaws are particularly obvious in broad daylight.
EP24 felt empty, somehow. I don't know what they were thinking with 1-episode updates, but this seriously kills the hype tbh. 20-30 mins of fighting lowkey does not feel great. I reckon the pacing would feel better if we had both 24 and 25, but 24 on its own has terrible pacing.
Hot take: What he did was kind-of a dick move but not worth cancelling over. The woman blaming him 100% for the divorce, well, I hate to say it, if a simple introduction to another woman is enough to break the couple apart then the relationship was highly unstable to begin with, and the ex-husband guy was looking for someone else already.
Even if what she says is true, it's just a catalyst that speeds up the reaction. Just my opinion anyway.
I'm just *really* glad that Mo Cai Huan is getting a ton of screentime. (at least imo, more than the FL and that's great) And that's ok, maybe the show won't follow the novel, there is still hope (cope) for season 2
(Inhales COPIUM) I will hope + cope for Han Li--Cai Huan until the very end lol
Ngl after ep 15 I wanted to continue by reading the novel (cn ver) and I'm so utterly lost lmao (which chapter should I even start on, I thought I started on the right chapter but I have no idea what the hell was going on)
I keep going back to the end of EPs 3 because of the OST and I have been searching for that OST on both Spotify…
If you *really* wanna find the song, it's called "蜉蝣志" by 石岩, and it can be found on QQ music, along with the rest of the OST. (Including the really nice song at the end of EP8.)
I do have one question / doubt. Whenever I read xiu-xian novels (in chinese ofc, for the OG sauce), there is an overarching long-term goal for the MC. Like, for example, in one of the books, MC (FL) was wronged by people so she reborns and xiu-xian to become stronger and stronger to crush her past foes. That is a motivation, a goal as to why she wants to get stronger.
Does Han Li have a goal like that? I'm not seeing it so far. Everything is to become stronger...to accomplish what goal, exactly? Just to see "the scenery of the world at the top" for his master? I don't know if he has a goal for xiu-xian, or does he simply xiu-xian for the sake of it?

The OST is amazing though.
(at least we got some Cai Huan moments...like, a little bit, I guess. It's practically breadcrumbs but it's something.)
Even if what she says is true, it's just a catalyst that speeds up the reaction. Just my opinion anyway.

*extremely minor nitpick.
