A Osawe chce obejrzec w filmie "Into the Sun" z Segalem xD

I love it. I hope I'll end second season this weekend. It's not perfect, I'm not sure if their portrayal of Edo era when it's about their behaviour is that good but drama is so entertaining, acting so good and nice pace. Worth watching :)

Haha, true, beauty sleep is so important ;) I'm happy you enjoyed it. Sometimes I don't know why, some of the films touch me in a very personal way, it was like that with "Onimasa" too.

Art as a way of life, when you can't see where is the border. Leslie's acting here was something absolutely stunning. It was like big WOW. It brought me so many feelings. The pain of characters I really felt inside, in heart. It took me one night, I just couldn't stop watching ;) One of the most beautiful films ever :)

Right! And the Arashi Phenomenon. Why did you recall such unpleasent memories, I forgot about it lol. Let me stick with dramas where I'm sure I won't be disappointed by acting. I don't even plan to watch anything with "actors" (not Japanese nor Korean) just to make them go onscreen. I hope my curiosity won't go that far.

Yeah, sometimes gossips can be nice and kinda positive. But who cares about nice things when the real drama is around? Unfortunately, good news are controversial etc.

It's easy to name few, especially from Korean dramas. I think Japanese ones have better acting and even when someone has not much to show, at least is trying. This is how I see it at the moment. When amount of watched dramas will grow, I can change opinion. It doesn't mean that I see all Korean drama actors as bad ones. They are worst than film actors but I'm still amazed that some have a nice potential. I'm watching Jejoongwon and I really enjoy acting of one of the actors, Yeon Jung Hoon.

Haha, I know what you mean. But sometimes I have this sick curiosity lol. Lately I stumbled on few gossips about Japanese actors. I was angry at myself, why I even checked this?

I thought so it's not your case ;) And I agree about being a fangirl. Sometimes it gets scary. Unfortunately, it's quite popular in Korea, they're "legends" about girls who fall for singers. It's ok to have sense of humour about it and laugh, I often joke about some of my favourite actors. But the most important is talent, and that's what I want to see. Fangirling is so much about good-looking guys who are... let's say, not very talented.

I really don't like variety shows too. I'm still not sure why they do exist. I stumbled on them and watched some just to see what it is. I don't get this formula. Talk shows about privet lives, big no, but when there's discussion about films, upcoming projects, personal view on work - it's great. Unfortunately, there's not many actors who are giving great and interesting interviews. Now is only gossip etc.

I feel this what you said. I thought about it some time go and this thing came up to my mind - do I really want to see my favourite actors in mature scenes? LOL, I answered no. If I fancy his looks then I don't want to see him in arms of other woman. Funny thought but still, has a sense. Enough we can see them before "the action".

Yup, I was thinking about it but when you were the person still using "Suede" I decided to get it back. It's nice to see that people remember nickname ;)

Each of them are different things. I'm not sure about 78' version. I've added long time ago "Japanese Summer: Double Suicide" by Oshima to the MDL's database. It's a very experimental film.

I think today I'll end Miike's Dead or Alive trilogy. Awesome trip but Miike is so sick sometimes. Maybe I'll watch also his blockbuster - "Shield of Straw" which is typical action thriller. His version of Harakiri is waiting, I've seen only 13 Assassins. But look out for "Ai to makoto". Gosh, that was the weirdest thing ever, Ichi was so relaxing, lol.

Aaaa, and I'm going to watch Miike's part of Showtime TV series, Masters of Horror. His episode wasn't aired on TV 'cause of disturbing images. I'm so curious about it. It seems to be a Miike night today, lol.
