Ogolnie warto sie zapoznac z gatunkiem, jak to robili kiedys, bo w koncu Hong Kong dominowal w tego typu kinie. I wszedzie te same twarze, nie tylko Tony, ktory byl taki mlodziutki. Wole go chyba w starszej wersji, takiego dojrzalego ;)

Zabawnie sie ogladalo, no i jak to akcyjniak, sporo skrotow i malych nielogicznosci. Mimo wszystko, strasznie nie bylo, byl nawet motyw znany z "Infernal Affairs". Tony Leung byl po prostu i sama jego obecnosc na ekranie mi wystarczy, aby mnie usatysfakcjonowac ;)

Chinese is really great. For a long time I thought I don't like it but when I start to learn, wow, it's so cool! And now I'm thinking about Vietnamese too... I don't know what's wrong with me XD

What? "I Saw the Devil"? How they want to do it? I really can't imagine it. I know, many Korean films are into more American filming tradition than, for example, Japanese etc. I admire Korean filmmakers for it but they have their own touch. Of course, stories like "I Saw the Devil" can happen in different place of the world but why to do so if original is masterpiece or just awesome? I killed curiosity about American remakes in myself 'cause there's no need to do such things. It's only to make money.

Of course I've seen "Infernal Affairs", whole trilogy :D It's one of my favourites. Story, acting, just everything's perfect. Because of it I don't want to watch this American remake (and decided to not see "Oldboy" remake too).

I got shivers when they were looking at each other. It started right after the first scene when female lead was playing mahjong with his wife. Tony has amazing magnetism in general.

I adored the acting, especially chemistry between Tony Leung and Tang Wei. All the time was something in the air. And how could you forget the ending, lol. It was a blast.

And in "Ichi" were some nice lines which amused me. But will be better if I say no more about Miike's flick. I'm a sane person, right? Or maybe not xD

Asano is pretty awesome actor in my opinion. His character, Kakihara, is very unbalanced person and quite easy to overact. But not Asano, he's perfect. I'm still not sure if the film had interesting story (but you needed to think) but watching Asano was bliss... well, just like gory film can be lovely xD And to be honest, the most hardcore action was pretty easy to predict. But still, it's really violent.

Miike will be responsible for damages of our laptops XD
It's worth to see how Asano Tadanobu acts - he did a great job with character.

Of course, I used to be the film tester XD
Shock factor is quite high, I must admit. There're legends about it. Story is really weird but we can't forget it's the adaptation of manga. I enjoyed this film, not sure why but I did. I had some thoughts after it. I watched this film 'cause of curiosity (as always) - if it's really that violent.

I watched Miike's "Izo", oh my gawd... kill me, I still don't know what I've just watched. I want to watch "Vistor Q" soon and I got recommendation - I must be careful or I'll throw my laptop through the window. It made me really curious ;)

Can you tell the title of the drama? You made me curious.
Many films are not just about Buddhism for example, it's most of the time symbols etc. to interprete or to make interpretation richer. Miike used it in his bizzare films, not straightforward. But I'm not sure if "Izo" is worth checking. And I can understand your point :)

hi :) Thanks for accepting my friends' request. I just went through your film list and I've seen so many films. I'm crazy about them but my list is shorter. I won't be afraid to ask about some recommendations ;)
