Thanks for accepting friend's request. I just adore your film's list. To be honest, I suck in watching dramas but films, I'm crazy about them.

I just started with horrors. In general I like them. I've seen "Shutter", "Ghost Delivery" (ok,this film was awful, really, at least for my taste) and "303 Fear/Faith/Revenge". I'd love to see more horrors for sure. And soon going to watch "Beautiful Boxer" - I've heard it's amazing film.

I'd love to check almost every genre but not sure about comedies and romance. If film is purely this genre, it won't fit (of course, exceptions are possible ;)). I'm new with Thai films but I'm checking them and getting ready to see more. If you have any recommendations, I'd love to check them :)

In this case I think Wong left us only guessing. All the critics are saying they hadn't slept together. I think differently. Few times they were telling to each other that they're not like their spouses. They were too close and spend so much time in the room 2046. I just watched "2046" - my mind is blown. Both film together, really amazing storyline. I only have problem with "Days of Being Wild" - it was made many years earlier and it's not so easy to find connections.

I must ask this question about "The Mood for Love" ;) It gave me so many thoughts. Anyway, I was wondering about Mrs. Chan's son. Do you think he was her husband's or Mr. Chow's? Many things we can only guess... Gosh, this story was so beautiful ;)

Yes, I'm learning Mandarin :) I pick only TVB dramas with dual audio. Period ones are really amazing, at least when it's about set - all the costumes and buildings. When I think about period dramas I see mostly Chinese and HK ones, I don't know why. I have problems with taking sageuk, too long. Japanese ones are great but older, after so many jidaigeki classics with very specific style it's hard to watch modern period dramas.

I want to watch (finally) Taiwanese films, I picked some. "A City of Sadness" with Tony Leung seems to be a very good film and set in a very hard times for Taiwan. Btw, Tony is pretty amazing, he even starred in Vietnamese film "Cyclo". "A City..." is a part of trilogy with "The Puppeteer" and "Good Men, Good Women".

Yes, it's from mainland China and when I started to watch it for the first time I really enjoyed it. I don't know why I stopped at some moment. In MDL it has 35 eps but I found that TV version has 40 and this one I'm downloading.

HK movies are amazing, no surprise they're on the top ;) I found that "War and Beauty" were the best drama of 2004. And at the moment, the plot started to be really interesting. It has many strong woman characters. Maybe a bit controversial 'cause it describe future concubines but it's history (there was even a bit of controversy). After the drama I'll let you know if it's worth to watch ;)

Hi there :) I just checked TVB drama which you dropped, I remember you mentioned it. I can't believe you watched so many eps of this. I'm still satisfied with my TVB drama, probably I have bigger urge to watch 'cause it's in Mandarin - language purpose is a nice thing. Seriously, I have problem with watching dramas, it's so hard to end them, lol. I hope this time I'll be stronger and after "War and Beauty" I want to see again "Startling by Each Step" (not ended of course)

Smialas sie co za drame znalazlam, "War and Beauty". I jak zwykle trafilam na mala perelke przez przypadek, hehe ;) To najlepsza drama TVB roku 2004, w 2005 tez zostala wyrozniona. Rzadko mi sie zdarza czytac o dramach, a tu taka niespodzianka ;)

Chinese Mandarin is my main language. When I'll be better, I go back to Japanese... or start other dialects (I just love how Cantonese sounds) or Vietnamese ;)

Oczywiscie, ze dodalam do bazy. Dwa z nich trwaja ponad 2h.

Niestety, wyszlo szydlo z worka :D

A film to "The Sword of Doom", jest na liscie ulubionych. Tam ten motyw wystapil w pelnej krasie.
