They're absolutely the best ever. We can find in Japan good actors too but they're not part of the dramaworld for sure. But some of the fangirl actors can have potential too and for some I wish better career than only TV.

Wiecej jednak staroci w tych gatunkach, bo to one ustalily gatunek. Z nowszych to chociazby "Ichi The Killer", zwany jednym z najbrutalniejszych filmow w historii (dla mnie niespecjalnie, sa gorsze, znaczy chodzi o ilosc przemocy, bo sam film cenie wysoko). Wazna seria o yakuzie jest "Battles Without Honor and Humanity" z lat 70. Kamien milowy gatunku wyrezyserowany przez Fukusaku Kinji. Moge naprawde polecic, bo warto zobaczyc. Jesli chodzi o samurajow no to trylogia Yamady z "Twilight Samurai" na czele. Obraz naprawde dobry i doslowny.

Sounds great for me! I was a huge fan of CSI some time ago and still have a sentiment. Would be nice to check how Koreans deal with such genre. Thanks, now I'm sure I must see it.

Hi there. I want to ask about personal opinion. I'm thinking about taking 'God's Quiz' for my holidays (still a long time but I need to be ready). Is it worthy to take? I mean if plot is logical (or at least not many holes), or more CSI in Korean style. I've seen you give pretty nice points for it.

not as a whole. It's very hard to concentrate while watching it. There are moments which are memorable but without written lines, we don't know what each character is saying. It was a kind of experimental film and possibly, it wasn't too clear even for the audience which could see it in the cinema.

It left me kinda confused. "Pieta" had mixed reviews, from pure art to unnecessary. I think it's the kind of film which you can love or hate, it can't leave you without thinking.

I haven't seen but it'll change. I was stunned by "Pieta" and I'm planning to see more films by Kim Ki Duk. I want to see "Addicted" too. In "A Bittersweet Life" Lee Byung Hun had amazing performance, something totally different than in "I Saw the Devil", on emotions level.

Of course, I need to write second comment 'cause why not ;) I was talking mostly about Japanese films, I'm uncovering Korean cinema but unfortunately it's very heard to get older titles. At the moment I want to see a horror film from 95' and that's my the eldest Korean flick at the moment (301, 302).

And your favourite actor is Lee Byung Hun. He's my Korean favourite too ;)

"In the Realm..." is a quite specific film but still, a masterpiece on its own. For sure I can recommend those which I have on my favourite list - Black River, Double Suicide etc. If you want to see chanbara (samurai films), you must see Kurosawa, Kobayashi (Samurai Rebellion, Seppuku), Gosha Hideo(Sword of a Beast). There's many films which are more action films, mostly popular samurai genre. If you want to check really old films, see "A Page of Madness" from 1926, but it's really hard to watch 'cause films as a whole haven't survived (I mean original music, which was instrumental while showing and lines said by the actors). From 30' check Ozu Yasujiro and Mizoguchi Kenji. They started to make films early, 20' and 30'. They're both great directors. If you want more specific tips, write, I'd love to help :)
