now you say that, it does give a different meaning to those picture containing ONLY SW not JG. and both brothers mentioning "parent's problem" might be about this too. Was JG not SW's mother's child or what? how could there be NO pricture containing all of the fam or even JG in it. I thought those ZOOM on pictures was just to add more aesthetic to the gloominess hung in between JG and mommy since more or less from the phone call of SW with JG its okay to think that SW told JG about meeting with his mother and what she had told him so he might be quite "blaming" mommy too...his emotionless eyes of "just doing everything with due respect" and expression that says "just endure for a while" towards his mother always makes me have 2nd thoughts about this mother-son actually.

Honestly, I kinda don't care about their chemestry as I am really really liking how the characters are build till now. All of them! Specially HYE's writing is so realistic with her hesitation,contemplation right now that I am just glad she did not just jump on him right away which would be too much unlike her who is a person pragmatic and realistic till now. Suddenly going "fok realistic imma go by my heart" would be just really cliche which we already have behind the "fate" that played with the main leads like attaching them yet keeping them at distant and letting the knot entangled enough for them to become unseperable when they finally meet.

PS: Love the ep4 ending scene, that he used informal while asking "did you miss me". give the impact that he is gonna go for the change he intends to!

HCS is still not annoying most to me but I fear mother of JYG is gonna be the "obstacle" next. I wonder what she had told YSW that made him cry like that and that he rushed to meet HYE without even picking her call...and what made YJG so aggitated at that too... When the voice was muted I thought it was a bad news but hearing SW's "now I am going to meet her" felt like mommy agreed to her so now I can finally be with her kinda thing...those tears were sad one?or happy one?

Of course she thought he dumped her without an explanation but its WITHOUT one from a man who failed to come to you. I thought it was betrayal or such which caused her pulled out of the love which she found worthless enough not to find answers for her pain... she suffered for goddarn 10 years without trying to find once that why he failed ot come and why on earth he, whose every memories she recalls were more warm thn anything, would leave her like this?

my question for "was it only one time" was cause though the subtitle says "since you did not come" her words in korean and voice gave it a meaning "As ..you are just not coming at all" like she had been waiting more more thn one time and was being stood out and makes also sense since he was just no picking up her phone too... and that day was her breaking point and sadly he died that day too without being able to give any excuse or what so ever. It was OF COURSE not her fault and she is BOUND to break down, but I pitied the dead bro cause he is freaking dead and hated...while HYE is just the living pitiful soul who is gonna go through 10 years worth mental break down. I like HYE's character writing really a lot and as much I disliked this reason behind her 10 years of pain. As if its just for the sake of leaving everything on the grey side and for the ML to heal her.

well.... was that the only thing for her 10 years of hatred? I mean was that time the only time he was unable to meet her? or was that of the days he failed to meet her... her words sounded like its just another day of his not picking up and not meeting her...but him speeding up the car seemed like he was rushing to meet her.... I am more curious about mr. dead brother's accident here since it would mean a good part of her life was lived on with a lie and all the pain she build up her wall with was just a hoax! AND if that day was just once that he failed to meet her and she be like "love is a lie and men are trash" and never tried to find out where he is and why did he not come till this day.. I pity that dead man... he died while the woman he loved did not know and lived her life hating him! and now she is breaking down OF COURSE cause her 10 years of suffocation of gonna choke her but how is she gonna be able to date her "only love till now"'s younger brother... and what family drama are we about to witness sigh!

about chemistry...well this reminds me of WWW drama so I kinda find the entangled yet lose attraction between them but apart from that I donno where this drama is taking us!

yea.. princess consort was part of the story and had part in the "reason why YiSan do not like women" but her part did not matter much since it was part of the harem story..I think since the drama is much based on Yi San's PoV so her part does not matter much and logical since YiSan did not give that much of a heed to anyone.

btw drama changed a lot of things to give justice of characters and their reason to do things which novel more or less overlooked. ALSO, drama gave more comedy of the likely comicless novel!

well well well...cliche? complication with rich people domination ALSO a dead ex's blood brother falling for his dead bro's gf who have not yet completely over from that past relation or betrayal? and yet I kinda hoped this mr. yoon would be her older sister's lover..I mean older sis seems to have a child but nothing like her husband has been in frame yet so... however... too less dramatic to be true :3 trailers spoiled the taxy hand aka dunk kiss scene already loooooool!! I am hoping that this HCS would not be the most annoying character sigh!

to begin with the rich troop annoys me always and on top of that this makjang drama like plot is constipating :3 yet, imma all flat for JKY's smile at now and thn and him hunting her down while she runs away like tom and jerry! well, I kinda like YE's character a bit..feels like reading a naver novel more thn watching a drama! and not to mention the fact that everything about this dead brother or her ex whatever is already out of the bag is just BEST!!! not a ep14-15 break up thingy is ALL I NEED TO LOVE THIS DRAMA!!! oh yea, the whole drama is about break up so i won;t need to worry for ep14-15's over dramatic break up mayvbe loooool! and I agree with you about Harem novels. Either you gotta really be ruthless or just isekaied (lol) to survive in a harem. Even though the ML sees only YOU its never enough to live a long life. and with the case of DI, if someone who was never really interested in becoming a king's woman whatsoever is forced to become one..its even more annoying to read such novels! like..to hell with the king and his love if he, who forced this woman to stay by his side, could not even protect neither her nor their kids.... so..yea! I wanted to slap YiSan so many types that I am sure my hand prints would be plastered on his face XD

and the answer to you question is..the novel's last arc is after DI dies. So there is quite a bit story left after her death which includes the investigation of the death of everyone- DI, CP and the princess, includes bringing a new wife who has his child and finally he has an heir, and most importantly includes...his regrets, his changes and his mourings (which in my eyes were kinda main lead troup tbvh but yea gave me a liiiiiiiiiiiiiittle bit relife thinking that he was not all IDC afterall..he was just hopeless and helpless) and it ends with his death. He dies, lonely and with pain in heart. I skipped ALOT herev (you can tell why) but he never loved again, never felt anything to worthy living for and felt everything he had thought was more important thn her was actually worthless...

She dies of posioning. Both her and her unborn 3rd child dies and she knew she was going to die. Since she from a long time had doubts that things were going VERY wrong and it began when she lost her 2nd child, a daughter. and it became very obvious to her when her 1st child, the only son and crown prince, died. She knew what was going on but she, who had no power nor any evidance just had to accept it and prepared for her own death. When crown prince died she was with her 3rd child so she could not meet the child in his death bed as it was considered that the crown prince was having measels which could infect her. So, even though the child in death bed consistantly called for her, his mother, she could not meet him. And from that moment she just gave up everything and began to prepare for her end. To be very honest, I was so angry at the King around this part of the story that I wanted to cry. But when his part of the PoV came out, he looked helplessly pitiful. I did not pity him but just was less angry that it was not like he did not care AT ALL like I thought. But as this story is more or less based on real facts I do not think they will change the ending....

About liver cancer it might be interpreted as of deteriorating liver due to posioning not a direct cancer thing.

The main couple do not have a good ending what soever. But its realistic one. The very reason I linked it to chinese stories is this. Their love was too realistic to be molded into flowery ending with "and they lived happily ever after"

Indeed, most of the novel is based on DI's PoV but we do get PoV changes and see the views and thoughts of the King and his reasonings for his actions. Which sometimes came of just "to justify" as he is the male lead. But as its a drama I think both are likely to get equal PoV chances or if its more leaned on his side, its gonna be a good deal of work for the screen writer, and I am kind of eager to watch that too. As considering PoV his part was marely 30% or so where 15% would be almost near at the ending and rest 15% were only when something happened. But, honestly, he is such a big fat tsun that I kind of hope it gets equal PoV chances not leaning of his side more. I donot wanna get the feeling of "wanna slap" for JunHo XD he is too cute to get such feelings. (^///^)

and for korean novels you can try the same with english name or put the korean name in goggle tl and get the searching with the english name.

I use various sites for reading and mostly use Ridi, kakao and naver free platforms to read leagally. Naver one has those free illustrated novels and Ridi has one chapter free everyday and both naver and Ridi allowes google to auto tl korean into english. And for the novels that aint free anywhere you gotta buy them with real money or inapp cash/coins wich you can get by doing things like seeing ads or playing games and such events things.

this drama has more of a rear court annoyance rather than those court politicians poking their noses everywhere really. But indeed either of the politics is gonna weigh a lot in the story. The "love" story aint gonna be all flowery with sweet words of confessions and promises but rather the realistic vibe between a King and a Court Lady where neither ever forgets their place and duties and indulged blindly in love.
