the only thing saved today's ep for me was the appearance of the white tiger... and seriously, CK has no powers at all? rather she is like the stimulator of danger :3 sam shin reminds me of dumbledore who again and again put harry in danger for the greater good.. and dear our 2nd male lead is being annoyingly clever about distaining the two - one who awaken the other and the other who might kill the awakener... we also have the MaWang plot all out known by EVERYONE XD congrats to people for that... and how funny Joo Hyang aint able to distinguish between HR and IS loool! anyway~ I forsee a breakup soon~ and my mr. hwacha aka goblin ssi is here... he looks like a good person with "no one can harm my painter"but the headmaster made him sound so scary as if a evil spirit is gonna find CK is she paints the royal potrait. I am curious about goblin sama more thn anything now ahahaha!!

breakup is non-existance between them and misunderstanding is also impossible as they communicate. Not ask and answer but they understand each other, gives each other time when they are not willing to say it all and then they talk to each other about everything. No chance of misunderstanding regarding any rivals as female lead and male lead never had any feelings for anyone ever.
One thing I loved about this drama was the fact that the one who seemed to be like someone holding onto past life trauma overcame her own while the one who seemed like trauma aint a thing for him became induldged in it.
How Ren acted in this drama made me see him in a complete new view. As a viewer of his all dramas and tv shows, Ren is anything but Zhou Sheng Chen. Ren is a bubbly person who loves to laugh and joke around while Chen, who thinks of 100 things before spouting one word, who can be easily misunderstood as an aloof person but is actually the most attentive guy, can be viewed as a self centered cold person but rather he is so warm that even his awkward action of wtting his lips when he is nervous seems cute... Ren is anyone but Chen but still he was so so so amazing acting Chen I was just...wowed! Not even once chen created a silly misunderstanding with his wife whom he claimed to love, never took a step back from being with her no matter what bloody hell happened..
same gose for ShiYi.. I have always love BaiLu for her emotional acting..more thn her funny acts when she wrinkles her eye brows while crying in that waking up from dream scene... I was just on a pool of my own tears... ShiYi the character who was living in this world while tracing herself back in that aincent time...she loved someone while admiting to herself that living with this man aint gonna be easy...but she adjusted..while changing herself and while chaning that man also. I have not seen Chen smiling much if its not her... a smile and temperament change is so vivid in Ren's acting as Chen whenever ShiYi is infront or mentioned that I cannot but smile seeing that and after watching the bts of those scenes I laugh even more....
I thing that left me feel incomplete was just that there were so much love going on but no kiss scenes? while both of them are so good at such scenes? was if covid fact I donno but I missed those butterfly moments that BaiLu and Ren gave with kisses in their previous dramas.
its not a k-historical drama if we do not have a rain scene with a love trinagle confirmation looooooool XD Today's episode was just - Haram's so called "i am not gonna get her involved" plan flopping and YM's so called interest going beyond just minor interest to something else. Just like the king joked about and the way Haram's face changes, whenever YM is talking about CK his attitude, voice, talks everything just speaks loud out that he wanna change the "we are not 'yet' in that sort of relation" to something else. How sad that the 2nd lead is doing all sort of big moves that is visible to eyes but the male lead is being the protector behind the scene! do not show those puppy eyes with that softy smile myung aaaaa! my heart aches TT

The childish rivalry between the male leads to buy HCK's painter was quite funny! The way HR's face changes looooool! One thing is quite nice about this drama, that the misunderstanding is not long and dragy! like YM misunderstood her and that got resolved within the ep, HR focred CK to minunderstand him and yet CK could clearly see his forced attempt. I find this quite heart calming really. Even Headmaster now knows whats the issue of CK's rebellious acts. HR's attempt to "act" as just as a sunbae she knows not the Ha Ram, the childhood love, is gonna backfire on him for sure loooool! XD I cannot wait to see it but DARN MY 2nd LEAD SYNDROME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why do I feel YM is gonna do some holy moly big fat huge sacrifice at the end? Please, be the emperor and DO NOT DIE!!! Whatsoever, it ain't all about the love story but a love story with an actual plot surroing it. If it were to be called dragy then we would have needed an 8 eps for the demon to unleash and for the ml to know the ml's identity. lets not talk about political revenge and bla blas. adding to the fact what someyicoo said, yea his eyes is one of his most strong point as through those eyes he manipualated people and crontrolled people. So, without those eyes he is nothing but a demon soul in a vassel. Also, i think willpower also matters. Demon king attracted people that has ill feelings be it revenge, greed for power and etc! while ha ram has revenge to feed on that demon but I think soon his ill emotions will be coulded and unlike in ep 3 where sam shin had to intervane to aloow haram to turn back to his human self, he will be able to turn himself back. Like fight with his inner evil?... and also, Ho Ryeong is meant to be the most powerful with her teritory! so Ma Wang was already at disadvantage being in her teritory as all the beings living or dead in Ho Ryeong teritory is her weapon while Ma Wang is at disadvantage there.
The CG is......holy freaking ohmygod what was this???? Mountain spirit Ho Ryeong is sooooooooo dashing lol! I thought I won't find another dasing CG after Ma Wang but no no no!! I am looking forward to more dashing people to arrive!

At the time of the rain ritual both of the kids were 9 year old as they were born at the day of the ritual for the concealment of the demon king which happened 9 years before the rain ritual. So 9 year old+19 years later= 28 year old - the age of the leads & the reign of the current king.
This novel is sure famous to get a drama adaption AND a webtoon adaption at the same time! Well, I do not expect any less from the author who wrote the famouse "Moon Embracing the Sun"though! and not to mention the cast is real good! and those muscles in episode 2 are holy mollly!! ...okay wait! I mean its going great ahem! the beginning explanation scared me with that woman's lover dying and the woman disappearing after drawing that picture!!donot be tragedy for lord's sake!! not do not be like hotel del luna either!!! and not like abyss or doom either!! my heart is weak with such endingssss!!! The best agesncy i have even seen in any industry invloving drama!!! the manager was like praying everyday for QJJ to get exposed so that her PR team can join the war ahahaha!! BEST VISUAL COUPLE!! and the osts are so perfect like...it hurts sometimes! I donno how many times I rewinded that ost moment when YuTu was crying after JJ said "I will never ask you why again." I was like stuck there for 1 hour!!!
So, if I ever have to make a list of best novel adaptions ever, I will for sure name YAMG as the first! this was just the live example of the readers imagination of this novel. No no...beyond the imagination! I never felt this good watching a drama of one of my fav novel!
I am just looking at the poster for ANY clues of love lines... so there are 2 couples with the man in the couple at the right is looking at the girl? (I SWEAR IN MY EYES IT LOOKS LIKE HE IS EYEING THE GUY XD ) and the girl inthe couple left is looking at the guy? (I SWEAR 2.0 SHE LOOKS LIKE EYEING THE GIRL!! LOOK AT THE ANGLE kek! ) so there is 2 love triangles going on but we can tell all the males and females would have their mates at the end~ no one is gonna left as a lone wofl crying in the corner!!
