As someone who have read the novel itself, I am kinda curious until where they will pull off this drama. AND whether or not the screen writers will try to change things (eg: the ennding of the main couple) or not. I personally like the ending which gave me....quite... that feeling you get when you feel satisfied yet a sadness bubbling up inside your chest. This novel had me feel annoyed like I was reading a chinese novel not a korean one. The character development was good though I utterly did not digest the ML's ways of doing things but .... to anyone who is curious how the story of the main lead is...just think of them as the main leads of Scarlet Heart: Ryeo. I found them soooooooooooo similar that I thought I was reading Soo and Su instead of Deok Im and Yi San. Its gonna a beautiful story.. quite the bittersweet one ...

the "evil" prince Hoo cannot die cause in the history he is the one who gets the throne so in the drama also they cannot distort the history. Yul aint dying wither and likely to be exiled and die there supposedly naturally(?) donno for sure. But the ending might be left like this cause the fates of the princes cannot be put in the story for the story to have a "happy ending" as Yul's ending aint anywhere happy and if Hoo, the "evil" price gets the throne and shown in the drama aint that gonna make HCK and HaRam's life difficult? so did not put in the drama nor distorted the history by making Yul the king. An open ending for Yul so that viewers who dod not know the history can make their own ending!
well................. the ending moment was just "not gonna distort the history whatsoever" like... so my heart aches for Yul! his ending is just sad ಥ_ಥಥ_ಥ

Goblin remains the same! he is the OPest character (no body argues) but his transformation connects me to the form of grandpa inmate somehow! well, no more eps to confirm that but lets just think of it like this. Samshin sure saved enough energy by not doing anything thoughout other's troubles and gave the saigono move and took MaWang (her old pal) with her ahahahaha!!!
My Ho Ryong is sure 2nd OP of all! I loved Yul and Hoo's acting a lot! somehow disappointed that the name HCK of the drama, novel or herself did not do much to be named HCK. HaRam was even weaker thn HCK so...... and this might be one of those very few dramas where I skipped romanctic scenes XD XD XD
overall, I have not read the novel but the story wasnot as much as amazing as the CGI! MIND BLOWING CGI!! I GIVE MY LOVE TO CGI AFTER mr. goblin and white tiger of course!!! The story was dull while the characters indeed lived through the characters. They saved it really! otherwise it would have been so boring! I loved the acting of everyone even those pals of HCK and mr. bamboo too! i wanted to see his presense more but left kind of a mystery till the end. Misu's ending was a rush redamption but eally did not get what was wrong with her to begin with?

Just that MY suddenly siding with Hoo was just lmao XD Sis just flipped with one stroke? even though she has been working with Haram this long? I think this is also more or less a plan or Haram but well... and inmate grand pa is...nani the fok? really a grandpa? this was kinda cool!! other thn that Imma kind of annoyed at samshin being just a viewer eating popcorn :/ she basically wanted a tv drama and produced one too :| now I am curious how the ending would come out and how it will match with the very beginning story of this drama. I am still stuck with that beginning tale of the ep1. curious curious~~
ps: the only historical drama where i feel tiny bits pity for Hoo and skipped the couple's time together. I donno why it feels so out of place even though both actors are great!

If I were to write one script for a drama after reading all those chinese novels, I would have written a way better one. honestly, CK never showed one ounce of interest towards Yul. I do not even think she consideres him as a man either.
