Good balance between Sex-Ed and entertainment.
A nice little sex-ed starter pack for teens, parents and anyone who works with teens... With a nice balance between educational drama and entertainment value without one taking over the other. This drama is tastefully made and talks about important issues that are in the minds of teens all over the world in one way or another. All from double standards, toxic masculinity, gender norms, teen pregnancy, STDs, sexuality, relationships, consent, fear of showing vulnerability as a man... It does not cover all the issues facing teens but does have a pretty good palette as well as shows great character development.
What I loved about this drama was the friendship as well as the very straight forward show of how the environment we are subjected to unconsciously will affect the people within it with prejudges and what not but also how easy lie this can be changed it he person is somewhat reasonable and able to take in information to change ones mind... Showing that people can change if they want to.. and that arguments like: "well I was raised like this and I turned out fine" does not cut it...
I also liked the parents in this drama, they are definitely not perfect but they are also sexual human beings with desires... And yes they do make mistakes and learn from them. But they also show how important the presence of adults that actually listen and take responsibility for the children education is for their opportunities in life. I would much rather be an adult makes sure my kid has protection just in case, then one who shames them in to not daring to own protection in the first place.
But the best part of this is probably how the teens in this drama complete each-other, they are all so different, complex and show different ways to be a human being, all with their own strengths and flaws helping each other out...
The Bingeabilaty for this one is about 8,5 stars.
So defiantly worth watching for all who are, will be soon or come in contact with teens...

A little bit of everything and a lot of fun to watch!
This drama is so much fun! This drama is about 80% fun cute bickering couple, and 20% drama time confusion, mystery etc
This drama offers lots of frustration, interesting twists (some more predictable then others) and extremely well written and interesting characters withe some plot holes, like why people from the past could just exit the front door without noticing anything... But over all most of it actually does cover up potential problems with time slips and the all important butterfly effect.
The male lead is the usual self centered guy that is actually very warm once you get to know him. The female lead is stubborn as amule, at times smart at times an idiot and has quite a few trust issues while being fickle and to trusting too... But I guess in a world full of doubvious people it can be hard to know who to trust... Both are very playful, have great chemistry and are really fun to watch!
Greg Hsus character may not have a lot of screen time but he is just soooooo welll written and ads a lot of spice and fun to the plot, not only with his smile, the stylist of this show did a great job with him too,
The fls colleague is another guy with a small role but done really well and it is nice to see a non typically handsome slightly over weight character be portrayed as human and not just someone who likes to eat so, extra points for that.
This drama is also highly bingable, though I may not constantly have been on my toes, I was never board and felt all kinds of emotions, Mostly ooooh they are soooo cute. This drama also shows that men and women can just be friend, they also throw in some pretty important issues that may have a small slot but are very well written...
Definitely a fun drama, that I am willing to recommend to more or less anyone, because it is just one of those dramas that has it all
Bonus: The product placement in this is off the top, funny and obvious! Again well written!

So bad it is funny
This short film has so bad quality it is almost impossible to see who is actually in it, it has no subs that I know of but if you have seen enough K-dramas you will not need them.It is hard to know if it the sound or the acting that make the lines badly delivered, but the music is fun, you will probably recognise Lee Jong Suks voice more than his appearance (that is how bad the quality of this is). But in less then 15 minutes you will get too se a portrayal of the lonely life of a teen living alone with a depressed, possibly alcoholic and possibly unemployed father who does not really seem to cara much about his son but is served hangover soup...
The music here is fun and is the perfect contrast to the depressing life of this lonely teen.
And that is about it, I gave it 8 stars for the so bad it is fun to watch as well as what those 15 minutes actually include, as you may guess not for the high quality, but I do think this may be a must watch for any fan of Lee Jong Suk... or maybe not if you want to stay his fan... your choice I guess...

Bad in every single way yet oddly entertaining
The lighting is bad, the styling is bad, the hairstyles are Boys over flowers bad, the acting is mostly bad, the lines are bad, the characters are not the least bit lovable so yes they are also bad..,Yet I still found myself binging this in 2,5 days... the story is oddly entertaining even with the bad everything else... in this modern day cinderella that has political elements worthy of a historical (clothing and values too) and an Icicle male lead that will put most c-drama icicles to shame the guy REALLY has no clue on how to communicate at all and does do the classical wrist grab, forced kiss and why say something when you can just be mean.... The female lead is also pretty stupid most of the tyme warm and fuzzy but not very interesting. Most of the side characters are mediocre to annoying with the exception of the queens who are the only ones in this drama who both can act and are actually interesting,
All in all I am glad I watched it, but can not say it was particularly good...

Welcome to a little bit of everything
This is a sweet drama combining parts of Our Beloved Summer, Reply 1988 and with something more... i am not really sure what that is is could be hometown cha cha cha (without the leads regressing in character) it could be som idol drama... maybe parts of Our Blues. Whatever it is I am sure I have seen most of this drama before most of which was really enjoyable but highly predictable. Which was fine until the cringe came along with voices speaking together as one and some trope that jus got on my nerves lowering the score. Both leads in this drama are absolutely phenomenal, I had forgotten how good Ji Chan Wook is at being sweet, and while it did feel a bit odd to see him as just a regular guy not trying to kill anyone and fully dressed all the time, he definitely has this amazing charm and is indeed capable of captivating the audience.
Shin Hye Sun was also very well casted as she is probably the queen of hot, cold and vulnerable all put in to one
The scenery here is lovely, and the drama is pretty much a commercial to visit Jeju Island while minding the crowds at the popular tourist spots. The use of water and umbrellas is great and I am pretty sure there is a referens in there to the umbrella scene in Something in the Rain with a twist. Other things that had me baffeld was the amount of alcohol the people in this dram could consume without ending up at a hospital or dead.
I love the friendships, the sisterhood, the kid, the families the blasts to the past and learning about the weather. I could do without the actual reasons for the drama in this show as they where not very relatable and lacked depth beyond the depth of the sea... Other things that bothered me where over the top characters with the typical over the top imbedded moments of not that again that many other drama watchers love but just get on my nerves. That said this is an enjoyable watch, an easy binge and couple that is a pure joy to watch.
Healing is kind of my nemesis I knew that going in to this so I will leave it at a it could have been a lot worse, but it was still there to take away from my personal experience. For those of you who love watching healing dramas and do not mind moments of over the top, maybe you even love the moment of over the top then this is defiantly a must watch. For those who can appreciate a mature romance this is also a pretty decent place to find. it.
P.s. this drama was probably also part of the find a deep connection challenge among the writers of Korea, and while it seems to have only lasted one life time I would say it may not be as twisted as some of the other drams with this theme it goes deeper under water than some of the multiple lifetime themed onec out there.

Cinderella meets The Red Sleeve
This is the story of the (at start) highly annoying girl who cheated death and decided that swindling people was the right way to survive. And the Swindeld King who kept getting swindled to terror by a lot of people around him...The poor terrorised king is in desperate need of being swindled back to health and shows us his upper body to try to convince us that he indeed is a health male... But dude physical and mental health are not really the same thing.
Anyway these two meet, got confused and fell in love... There are a bunch of obstacles along the way and the female lead seems to need more lives than a cat, and well the drama would have ended very fast if she did not get those lives.
There are a bunch of lovely characters, the second male lead is a sweetheart true SLS material. The female lead goes though annoying, to bad ass to kind to weak and annoying again... and is one of dramalands most inconsistent female leads. The male lead on the other hand has character development as straight as an arrow...
There are a lot of men that hate women in this, and a show of how a marriage-ban can be used to retain power, money and make way for a bunch of more or less evil black markets (with women). So there are some political elements but not as much politics and intrigues as there are in other historical dramas, Here the focus is more on comedy (with inconsistent quality) and romance.
The plot starts off decent, gets boring and then gets kind of decent again there of the 7,5 score saying it is an ok watch it has a lot of good stuff in it but just not enough good for me to want to recommend it.

Petty Women
This was so bad it was actually really bad... So bad that I watched it till episode 12 but could not take it anymore so I skimmwatched the rest... with the occasional pause to watch the fluff...As I am pretty sure the writer either has never met a woman in his entire life or has a lot of built up anger against them. Whatever it is he definitely has a lot of stereotypes and truley hates woman from the bottom of his heart as every single one of these women is portrayed as a childish, scheming, petty brat. Who speak cutsie like you should not speak to infants (but people do) and cry, or sceme for no particular reason. There is no logic to anything in this drama, the settings are all odd, the hospital makes no sense, neither the division of work or how it looks inside.
I honestly doubt the creators actually visited a hospital in their life (and for that I envy them) for example there is a scene with a kid in this Huuuuuge space, that just as to go through a crowd of people with cameras, like they could not go around the crowd but just had to go through it... this was of course good for the plot but, had me thinking what the....
The female lead is kind hearted at best and very forgiving of people who scheme against her, I am going to assume it is because she understands them too well as she too likes playing games and does not really seem to understand the value of communication. This woman is also a prime example of the dangers of falling for drama cliches that romanticise lack of consent. As she creates troubles in her mind and expects the male lead to force himself on her and is utterly disappointed when he does not. She is also slightly obsessed with feeding and getting fed. Girl you have hands, use them...
There is however a lot of fluff, the filming is fluffy, the kisses are fluffy, the hoodies are all fluff, fluff everywhere fluff... Umbrellas, snow... sunshine and yep even a fluffy cat, bird and kid. And a unicorn amoung C-dramas, parents that are not evil... odd but true. There are some cool scenes here and there, mostly slow mo... but still.
The male lead is they typical iceberg, why he falls for the female lead is a huge mystery for me unless he has a shallow side to his otherwise melting ice berg. but fine whatever floats his boat. He does seem to have basic respect for boundaries and is lovely to watch, yes he is indeed the reason I kept at it.
So in conclusion, for the love of whatever you believe in, do not make the same mistake as I did, it is just not worth it, unless you want to hate watch and get to write a review that is as much fun to write as I had writing this one is. or skip most of the scenes to watch the fluff, because the fluff is indeed top of the cotton candy swirl.

Between Fanservice and a Plot Fanservice Seems to Win
Fan service... Fanservice... For as Far as the eye can see there will be Fanservice... I seems like the creators of this where faced with a choice to offer fansevice or plot but not both...This is the highly anticipated parallel story of Win and Team who many of those who watched Until We Meet again wanted to see more of... And indeed we did get to see more of those two, a lot more.. And while they pretty much offer some kind of consistency with the main story and its timeline, and though there is a trauma that they do try to adress... This drama seames to be missing that all important plot that the mother drama has.
While the leads are lovable, fun to watch and take off their clothes a lot, I am not sure there is much of a plot. There are some good lines here and there, splashes of humour, and I dare say even high quality dialog at times. There are even signs of angst, misunderstandings and the oh so entertaining plot line of people who need to communicate with each other better but there is very little build up and yes as I seem to say a lot I found it hard to find the plot most of the time.
That said the dialog about consent in this is gold, so is the general message of actors have the right to love too... Most of the characters are entertaining, lovable and sweet. The acts of friendship are adorable to and I dare say the main couple while lacking in build do have great chemistry and provide a whole lot of fan service... And are a pleasure to watch. I also enjoyed seeing a swim team without perfect abs and that seem to act like most bodies do when bended showing us some skin and fat too.
A lot of the acting in this drama could have been better, like a lot better I do not have any complaints about Boun Noppanut Guntachai/ Win his acting was pretty decent but when it comes to the rest of the cast I know they can do better, I have seen several of them do better so I do not know if this drama was rushed or if it due to the writing but they did not bring out their best work for this drama.
Watching this drama (both the cut and uncut version too) felt a bit like sitting next to someone who is driving a manual car for the first time as it the shifting was al jerky and off... So again either the editing or writing was a bit off... At I kept feeling that something was missing most of the time while other times it felt draggy instead.
I do not know if I can truly recommend it as I am sad to say it is so inconsistent in quality and lacks a plot so I can not really say it was good. But I did enjoy parts of it a lot, it is an easy binge and yes I did fall for the fanservice I guess... It is also gif friendly Oh and Boun is definitely going on my crush list after this.
P.S. The official sights subbing is even worse than the lack of plot... and has even more grammatical errors and typos than most of my reviews. I am still grateful towards those who added subs to this, for without them I would be lost.

Fluffy heterosexual monogamy that has probably gone too far but is easy to watch...
When the drama is filmed though a fuzzy pink filter you know you are in for an easy ride of fluff... The drama itself offers very little plot, making me wonder what the plot actually was. Was there a plot? or was is just a collection of fluffy friendships, unrequited love and a prolonged press of figuring out ones not so complicated feelings. On the way we get to see playful characters interact in fluffy hoodies among fluffy scenery eating cotton candy and chasing each other to slow mo music saying I love you...
What I loved about this drama was the female lead, even if there was an episode where she lost a point or two in my mind she is just such a lovable character, fun, easy going, the type of girl who can stand up for herself, knows what she wants and is not really ashamed to go go for it (okay maybe it takes a while to figurere it out).
The male lead on the other hand started out all fun and mature but lost his charm as the episodes passed by, though he does have a few fun and sweet scenes (ok a lot of those) his reactions went a bit overboard and got on my nerves at times making me wonder has monogamy and heterosexuality gone just a little bit to far? As the guy once he is in love can not even have a female fish in his room for some odd reason.. not to mention gets jealous of the fl past crushes? making me go what the...
The side characters are mostly lovable, however there is this best friend that is just a little bit to stupid to be believable... Which of course also got on my nerves,... he is however lovable most of the time so I forgive him.
Bingabilaty: high
fluff: a whole cotton candy swirl
Romance: meeh
Annoying elements: few
Credibility/realistc: low
Consent: high not a single forces/drunk kiss in sight
Angst: low
Definitely a drama that will fulfil all your fluff needs, but not much more

Toxic male lead disguised as sweet romance
This drama starts out so innocent and sweet. It has sweet caracters and a lovely story. However as the story progresses the male lead becomes more and more manipulativ and posessive. This is portrayed as romantic and no body says anything about the way he treats the female lead even thogh they must see it. She doesn't seem to mind the way he treats her eather but rather seems to think it romantic. Fine I get it its nice to find a guy who only has ayes for you... but it should not be at the coast of your independence. So if you can watch this as a coutionery tale I say go for it (It does have its moments) but if your looking for good healthy romance look elsewhere. Was this review helpful to you?

A midst a snowstorm of emotions and possibly a manic episode
This drama starts off sweet, and fluffy... Aloof boy falls in love with a girl they eats, sleep, look at scenery, train, repeat there is not much plot but its is an easy watch that is nice to look at.Living in a nordic country myself I really enjoyed watching my c-fluff in a culture and setting close to the one I live in (even if they might have made a few mistakes). With the added bonus that most of the non Chinese he people where shwen to be friendly.
After a while the boy who is supposedly poor manages to spin of surprising the girl with grand gestures, flights here and there, the boy pretty much never sleeps all signs of a manic episode... There is also a bunch of not so secret following(slight stalking), helping from behind the scenes and misshaps... with a HUGE amount of patriotism, the Chineese are the best, morals, morals as far as the eye can see and the usual propagande those of us who enjoy c-fluff have gotten used to ignoring.
And from then on the red flags of Chine keep adding up and all the sweet and fluffy potentially green flags that they tried to sell off in the beginning where long gone... A process those who have been in not so good relationships can relate too, but here sold off as oh so sweet, normal and mostly romantic, even if they do throw in a few good lines here and there.
That said the female lead rocks, she is amazing in every single way, relatable, fun, smart, talented... Fine she fell in to the dudes trap, but that only shows us that bad ass women fall too... But by the end of it I was hoping she would run away and start an ICE 9 ball cult up north somewhere.
Oh they also play a lot of snooker and 9 ball...
So to sum it up, I would recommend you watch the first 10 or 15 episodes for the fluff, but do not expect any plot and just ignore the other half of the show...
P.s there are no annoying side characters

A whole lot of feels...
What started with a build up of tears by the side of the eye... went over to wet sleeve and ended with ugly snot crying. This is a unique romance, it is sweet, not always so innocent and at times a whole lot of fun with some oddly dark humour. As we meet the boy who was run over by The White Truck of Doom and turned in to a living corps as the male lead kept saying: He is NOT DEAD, he is a Living corps... in this story about love, lust, loss a whole lot of denial. This story is different than anything I have ever seen. So it even had me debating if it was worth a 10 star rating but though it made me cry A LOT it did not captivate me enough for a 10. But it is a strong 9,5. On the one hand such a sweet youthful story, on the other the living dead and a whole lot of pain... tragedy, romcom, supernatural all in one.
The male leads are both cold one in his personality the other literally as his body started getting cold after he died. The boys interactions are a true cold meets war, introvert extrovert opposites attract story with all it has to offer, though we only get to see a few glimpses in to their story the chemistry and playfulness is there. Adding a time limit, fear and need to hold on adds that extra spice and emotion to the story that hit me like an arrow straight though my still beating heart.
This is definitely a drama I recommend to pretty much any one who can handle it and is in need of a good cry. It truly is perfect for those days when you need to laugh, cry and fall in love... all at once.
P.S the intro with it´s OST is one of the most fitting intros I can remember ever seeing, I usually skip the intro but chose to watch it in this one. And there is a nice shot of an Axolotl in it too.

Touching, complicated and sad
This movie is just so depressing, while being both beautiful and kind of dull made. The entertainment value here is not very high so if you are looking for fluff or entertainment go somewhere else. The story however is one that needs to be told and is very well made.I really appreciated how they showed intimacy and sensual sexual scenes between two elderly men. Scenes I would say where very tastefully done showing how they care and lust for each other as well as the growth within their relationship. While at the same time reminding us that one of them is married with the many close ups to the ring on his finger as well as portrayals of his double life as a very caring husband. they do not let us forget for one second that these two men are having an affair, but they also make sure to show us what put them there.
These two men are portrayed as loving fathers and family men who put their families above themselves while hiding who they are, not only out of fear but also out of care. Something that does sound selfcontradictary but if you see this movie you will understand what I mean by that.
The movie combines all kinds of different interactions, the looks those who are out recieve, and extremely powerful dialog to show the complex reality many elderly gay med (but I would assume all parts of the spectrum) have had to deal with at one point or another... And unlike many other portrayals of LGBTQ+ issues this one leaves very little room for hope and rather leaves us in despair...
So yes this is worth watching, but just be sure you enter it on a day you can handle some pain... Also it does have some dull moments...
Bonus: this may or may not be considered a bit of a spoiler so be where:
I am in no way religious but I am going to state some dialog there that shot me like a an arrow straight in the gut... (this may not be the accurate wording but it went something along the line:
Do you know what my son told me to convert me?
I want to be able to find you when we are dead...
Once combined with some other dialog where the men mention how as young people they faced hate and had to hide by marrying women, later on in life they had to hide while raising a family... once the kids moved out they had to hide for even more reasons... As an elderly man shares how he used to get a long with his neighbors but ever since he was shown at pride they completely changed and he was forced to hide... Was just so well done, and did not feel the least like an educational movie while having a very high educational value.

A whole historical in 7 minutes with a cat!
This is actually pretty impressive how they managed to squeeze in a whole historical C-drama and even added, Meow the secret girl to it... Swardfight, blood cough (though they were stingy with the cranberry juice), poisoning, intrigues, flashbacks, slomo, romance, lust, and all in under 7 minutes!I honestly felt that I got all the information I needed on this short emotional cute journey... It may also be a commercial for some kind of pancakes, I am not 100% sure.... And I did feel like eating one...
I am not going to say that this was great, but cute, fluffy and took less time to watch than to write this review... So just go for it.

He is really really in to her she is more in to her job, C-fluff with some rare gems.
This drama is pure C-fluff, a pretty smooth ride with the typical C- icicle who has trouble expressing himself and needs a lesson or two in honesty while the female lead is energetic warm and very good at talking herself in to getting more or less whatever she wants. These two have pretty good chemistry, great humor (reminded me a bit of You are my hero), and you can see that the guy is truly in to her, almost a bit to in to her... while she is more in to her job which is kind of funny yet sweet at the same time. This drama does reinforce the idea of men wanting to get physical most of the time, while women should want to protect their virtue it does deal with the issue of consent in a pretty good way as well as shows the female lead as a competent person. The drama does deal with the issue of working mothers and some of the struggles they may face for trying to have both a career and a job in a pretty good way.
This drama also deals with the classic money over quality as well as struggles between different generations in a okay, not great, not bad but okay way. What it douse do great is shed light on the importance of finding the right person for the right job stressing the importance of a supportive environment for growth and the dangers of trying to impose ones own idea on some one eases dreams. And gives you the feeling of wee can accomplish anything if we work together.
The second couples characters where great, smart, funny, good looking just not together. Their scenes together where probably the most boring thing about this fluff and is probably what lowered the score.
The bromance here is great, and you will find this really rare thing that I can barely remember seeing in a c-drama, the friend actually giving his/her friend good relationship advice! (I was completely mind-blown and had to rewind the first time, to check that I was reading the subs correctly)
While C-fluff often has at least one character that is kind but annoys me, this c-fluff has not a single one of those characters. Don't get me wrong all the characters are not lovable but what I love to hate about this drama is the presence of the aggravating characters that truly make you curse and want to do things you should not do. Adding to the emotional palett this drama offers.
All in all a decent watch, easy to watch some cringe, some fluff, some anger and some pure happiness and girl power!
