Dark
This is definitely not what one would call a romance, as it is a dark investigation in to a woman's past and present it a not so tender light... Surrounded by slander, murder, psychological harm and more slander. Either one of these would be awful but put all in to one drama and most of what you see is pain and obsession. While there are a few moments of tender light, as well as extremely sensual light, most of this drama is dark and sad. The type that makes you wonder how much more can a person take, how mean can people be?
The female lead is a mazing bot in character and acting. The male leads character was well performed but not as amazing as the female lead and the other male leads character was so well written, a combination. of adding fuel to the fire while simultaneously drinking away ones regret...
The cinematography was stunning,, my only complaint is that they dragged it out a bit to much, and added unnecessary twists as well as just a few too many recaps to male me up the score.
If they had just cut out out some parts in the middle and maybe added a scene or two to the en then I may just may have given it a 9 or 9,5,
Also there is very little, preaching, china propaganda, and ehat I would say more or less anti healing element instead of healing acknowledging that some parts of life are just dark, inexcusable and awful. And has several really good quotes from poetry and life...
A drama that will not restore your faith in humanity, but may restore your faith in C-dramas... If you ever loose it that is.

Fluff meets tears
To be clear I have a lot of issues with this drama but it also has a lot of good and worthy of watching parts making me settle for an 8 star rating while there are a lot of parts in here that should have made me drop this the parts that where good where good enough to keep me going. So here it goes the leads are amazing they have great chemistry and what starts of as a pretty decent respectful mutual relationship built on making each other grow, almost to good to be true and are what many would call couple goals. admiering abs, kisses, fluff... the works.
Then stuff happens and well all that pretty pretty much goes down the drain and never fully comes back, along with that we get a whole lot of typical macho type of decisions as well od a completely unrealistic use of terminal illness as a magic cure for pretty much anything (but the illness)... There is this well meant theme to this, look he can still do good even if he is disabled... which could have been great if they did not go down a path of over doing it turning him to some kind of emotional porn, inspirational crap... Whiles robbing our male lead of his male leadness...
They did balance it out with some real shows of emotion but the over all feel was... just ask for help and people will comply... just make a decision and there wil be a spot in a nursing home the next day... and so on... While there are moments where difficulties are mentioned they are not really taken seriously and more or less swooped under a rug, focusing on the positives just a little to much...
While the drama has a lovely found family and great show of community and friendship there is also the typical over the top annoying best friend, give it the girl got some of the best lines. And we also get the typical China rocks propaganda that was probably there to make sure this passed the censorship prossess smoothly.
While I will admit that it did have me shad a tear or three.... Having seen a few other dramas with theme I would say the J.- drama Boku no Ita Jikan is a better choice for those looking for a powerful story about ALS and an outlet for tears.

Cotton Candy Lollypop with Sugar on Top
This drama is so sweet, so sweet, so sweet it is like they took a lollypop and dipped it in cotton candy. The acting is mostely meeh, story is not really new and it is not the type I will remember for all eternity but the take feels kind of fresh. The budget seems to be low so I have taken that in to account when rating this. HOWEVER one character (actually 1,5) stands out and compleatly steals the show making me overlook all the meeh parts. Making me realize once and for all that yes sometimes it only takes one good character to make or break a show.
Eddie/Shin Ki Tae played by Lee Seung Gyu is just amazing, from the way he is written to the way this guys performs he is playful, fun, confident and so on and the stuff this guy does with his eyes and smile just had me hooked. To be honest mostly the first episodes but still this guy rocked and made every second of this show worth a watch + made me longing for more, a lot more so I will now proceed to stalking everything this guy has done.
For the kiss lovers among you: the kisses are not great, they are not dead fish but I have seen better.
So this drama may not be high quality objectively good, but it is an easy watch, has high fluff value and is very entertaining indeed.

Almost hit the spot...
First of all I advise you to turn off the sound or make sure to be in a space where the sound of heavy breathing and moaning are ok.The drama itself is pretty much a sex ed show for a mature audience, with a lot of things that are pretty obvious for me but I know need to be heard by a lot of people. Though the shows target audience clearly is women I would say people of all sexes could gain something by watching this. As they do deal with women sexual liberation, the big O-rgasm, and the oh so important issue of consent + the oh so important right to chose, to not be in the mood and to change ones mind mid way.
This drama has a lot of potential and could have been a lot better if they worked a little bit more with the two female leads characters. The male leads here are lovely, mysterious, considerate, honest... And dreamy in a lot of ways so I do not really have any complaints about those two guys. But While both the female leads have a lot of lovable traits they kind of fall short... and not in a women are complex human beings sort of way that I would have applauded but more in a slightly annoying, and unnecessary added backstory... And while about 80% of the show is progressive there are still 20% that seem to cater to some kind of hetero and monogamy traditional values of love your self first before you can love yourself type of deal... And well I guess I am not buying it. However there may be room for a second season, where they can make up for this, so I am not giving up on them yet.
When it comes to the female leads I regret to say that Hani who plays a more timid role, did not fully deliver, her acting was not very convincing and neither was her character if it is due to flawed writing, directing or a bad day at work I do not know but I have seen her act a lot better in Imitation . Bae Woo Hees acting was however pretty decent.
The sex scenes are oddly tasteful and well HOT a lot of fit and muscular bodies, breasts and buts you could flip coins off of...there are a lot of lip, licking and what not... but no fat, cellulite or wrinkle in sight which also makes this fall a bit short of its progressive objective. There is a small pimple... but it does not get a close up and is covered up quickly... So basically a lot of eye candy and material for further masturbation. Just not so much representation... Like at all. And people it is ok to look "ugly" when having sex. it is the feeling that counts and not the pose.
So do I recommend it, sure why not it is not perfect but it is short and has a lot of good in it, just not enough to hit the spot... ha ha

Some good moments but mostly highly questionable... everything
This is one of those dramas that is purely there satisfy all your wrist grab aloof CEO needs, with a sweet, cool, talanted superwoman female lead and a hot n cold, jealous, stalkish narcissistic completely obsessed male lead, He is also extreamly competitive, childish and while they seemed to try to make him come off as this guy who strts of cold but becomes a big old sweet teddy bear. The guy actually collected more and more red flaggs as the plot went on instead of dropping them.Offering such great 'moments as
"With my help she should be able to grow in to a good lawyer" - not as good as him or better, and not due to her own efforts or anything like that...
Making me wish that the female lead would choose single life, the other female lawyer in her firm, her senior who had about 5 minutes of screen time... Just anyone else but the male lead, not the sisters ex but other than him pretty much any other character would have been better.
While part of the message in this drama had moments of progressiveness and he female lead does have her strengths . I did feel that most of the gender roles conveyed in here belonged somewhere in the past... way back, like in the 50s or so.
Basically: Man should protect woman, woman must cook and be soft, man strong and hard. Woman work both home and office man work office protect woman...
The pros: Good female lead, the plot was draggy at times but I did feel like making it to the end, hoping for a break up, still I did not have the urge to drop it. And the while I do not understand why this amazing female lead falls for the male lead,. And she does frustrate me at times. I still loved her and the other female lawyer (Chen Hao Lan) at the firm. The parts that where a bit progressive where actually really good letting the female lead express quite a few issues really well and has some pretty amazing lines such as:
" Whenever we discuss respect, you cant hear me"
Making it an okay watch, honestly just skip everything else and focuse on the female lead, the cute dog and Chen Hao Lan, who deserves a lead role ASAP.

A game of Dead or Alive
I may be stupid but this drama actually had me guessing about who was who, who killed who, from start to finish I was pretty much lost. And I guess I like being lost while watching a drama. The characters where not very lovable most of the time and their voices where a bit to high pitched and as several characters where supposed to be spoiled brats they did seem to raise their voices just a little bit to many times... Making me truly annoyed and hate every single villain in this drama.
That said our supervillan was a true master of privilege and obsurd one liners oh a guy is dyeing of an overdose, oh really they should not take drugs if they can't keep it to the right amount... or something like that his gazes, his logic everything about him just smelled rotten.
Our oppa, with super oppa powers gave us some more odd lines that reeks of privilege but also a slow mo oppa CEO power, though he had way to little screen time I will admit that what we got was highly concentrated oppa...
The female lead is mostly bad ass, smart and so on without beeing to perfect, as she is indeed a very, very cold female lead.
A decent watch that kept me guessing (also pointing fingres).
P.s. the glas in this drama seems to be dangerously thin...

Frustratingly slow but sweet
This drama is so good yet so frustrating and slow... Making me want to scream, cry and feel a bunch of things as I was waiting for the inevitable pain that they kept hinting at while showing me fluff, joy, friendship, support and a whole lot of fun. Pretty much eternally making me wonder what would be ahead and why they would do such a thing... whatever it now would be I felt like I just wanted them to live bickerley, playfully happily ever after... Mostly as a couple sometimes as a thruple... The show made sure I kept those tears nearby about half of the the time. The show could have been better if they picked up the pace a little bit and added more past the ending, it could also have done without some of the twists that seemed to solely be there to slow down the already painfully slow pace. However most of the characters are fun to watch, human (ok some are geniuses) but all are flawed in their own peculiar way and lovable oh so lovable. And I did indeed enjoy watching yet another mother who will not be winning a prize for being mother of the year.
There are a lot of memorable moments in this drama, some memorable due to the constant resurface of them in unnesessery flashbacks, probably because they where just not as memorable on their own as other parts of the show and the creators felt the need to remind us of them. But that is just a wild guess... still there are a bunch of memorable moments involving an umbrella, a bridge, a ball, shoes, a scarf, a dress and fireworks so do keep a look owt if you choose to watch this.
Definitely a drama I recommend to all who can handle some frustration.

Not So Ultimate, but Oppa! /The Bachelor Goes Fan-Meet!
This is another one of these stories that you watch for its highly predictability cuteness and fluff... for the reliving memories of dramas past... As the K-drama references are many and indeed lovely.
As we get to see the ultimate nice girl who is so nice, naive and slightly stupid that you will yet again wonder how she made it alive all the way to be eligible to travel Korea on her own. We also get to see ultimately good looking male leas one with some type of brain who will have you wondering why he likes his girl to be so naive, the other handsome but lacking in brain power making you realise you are better off not meeting your idol. We also get to see a stereotypical mean girl as well as some adorable girl power sisterhood...
Some parts of the production felt forced but I was entertained, and I am sure those of you who like this type of story will be too. If you are looking for some substance and quality you probably figured out by now that this is not the right place to find it If you are completely new to K-dramas you may still enjoy it but not nearly as much as if you catch the references made in the movie.
To be honest this 8 star rating is solely based on entertainment value and not quality.

He is indeed just right, but I am not sure abut the time
This drama starts off giving some kind of A Love So Beautiful vibes, with a slightly clingy athlete second male lead, a very clingy female lead and a cold and reserved male lead, plus a bunch of friends in high school. However it has a slightly odd twist on the one hand the female lead here is actually portrayed as both bubbly and smart, a rare combination in c-drmaland but they had to add a heart transplant plot line that made 0 sense other than for the plot, so if you have no clue what so ever about heart transplants it might just work for you. But for me who has had a heart condition that resulted in a heart transplant that whole plot line just felt completely off.Luckily the heart transplant plot line does not get to much screen time to take away from all the good this drama has to offer. An actual smart female lead, a bit naive and a bit to easy to manipulate at times but straight forward a great communicator with everyone but the male lead that is... She is resourceful and very much lovable.
The male lead is the perfect combination of reserved and cold in the beginning and calm and loyal by the end. He is a supportive, kind, smart. Making it hard to find flaws in him. That said he is not always great at conveying his feelings and making sure the y reach the female lead. He is also playful, and though may seem a bit passive compared to many other male leads in dramalandI find his approach refreshing, but it does seem to leave our naive female lead a bit insecure.
The second couple takes bickering to another level and not in a good way, I loved those two characters in the beginning for their friendship and cool way of using coca cola product placement but they got more and more annoying as the episodes passed by.
The third couple had a lovely gay story in c-disguise and though they had little screen time the little we got conveyed a deep connection of love and longing.
The second male lead offered a few moments of fun and helps bring out different sides of the female lead but he got on my nerves and was definitely not SLS material.
There are a lot of C-drama cliches here some doe right, some with a twist... some done a bit meeh... However the romantic/friendship gestures made here are different level, focusing on quality over quantity.
So to sum it up this is a sweet and fluffy romance, enemies to lovers with a whole lot of play and fluff and without a lot of angst, it has some annoying element and draggy parts but both leads are great most of the time which pretty much makes up for the flaws. Making this a drama worth watching for those who appreciate a hate to love, misunderstandings youth type of romance. It is in no way a must watch but a pretty ok drama.

Extraordinary You goes CEO revenge plot
This is the story of the professional comic book villain who happened to end up in the body of the protagonist... and well that marks the start of this funny comic rich boy good girl rom com parody... As we get to hear this smart girls thoughts about the cliche plot. While watching her actually have to do stuff...To begin with the girl has a heart condition that requires kisses from men from a certain gene pool as medicine and who would not want to kiss a handsome male lead or villain to avoid death by heart attack? Ridiculous yes but done well and indeed a lot of fun to watch. It also makes way for a whole lot of kissing in pretty much every episode, the kisses may not be steamy but they are humorous.
What I enjoyed was the smart leads, the whole examining my oh so loved cliches from a bunch of angels and the kissing.
For a web series it is really good, it is in no way a masterpiece but has high entertainment value if you have seen any type of CEO revenge type drama. So if you love your cliches and can handle them being made fun of this is definitely a good choice.

Soo sweet the cotton candy turned in to goo
Any review of this drama can probably not include spoilers as this drama is pretty much the type to spoil itself with so many known c-drama tropes you will feel like you are watching all the c-fluff dramas you have previously seen all at once. As even the product placement of Rio is back alongside fluffy feathery snow.. .The male lead is the typical icicle god. A swimmer who only has eyes for the female lead, completely lacks verbal communication skills but does seem to have some kind of basic respect towards women when he is not jealous.
The female lead is the typical insecure bubbly lovable gal who if you put aside her self doubt is actually pretty smart and funny... giving us a lot fun scenes and some pretty amusing lines a long side the misunderstandings and very odd assumptions.
The rest of the characters range from so annoying you want to shove them off a cliff to smart and pretty decent some will go between these two, while others are consistently annoying witch it too bad.
What ups the score is the ab-humour, abs and the female leads overall lovability. What keeps it from going up is its draggieness predictability and the over use of gestures and cheese turning this cotton candy fluff piece in to melted goo... covered in cheese.
So if you are in need of som goo and a lot of cliches + can handle over acting and annoying characters come along this is the place to be. If not then I suggest you move along and watch something else.

Sweet, simple trans pre op rep but too short
Life as a girl may come easy to some but definitely not all... This is a pretty simple story, Miki is a smart , funny, cool, at times bitchy, fairly ambitious girl who loves fashion and has a job doing what she loves... while trying to avoid being called a monster, used as a punchline, or as an exotic accessory she lets us in on her day to day life with friendship work and lots and lots of fashion She also shows us the huge difference between how she is forced to act in society and what actually goes on in her mind. Raw, real and relatable all at once. Her friendship with her childhood friend/classmate is lovely as he may show ignorance at times but also shows how people can adapt and at least try to understand, if they just take the time to care. Their interactions are mostly friendship goels, fun bickering, honest and fluffy...
The work situation has ints ups and downs but the colleagues are lovely making this an over all fluffy drama, easy to watch, easy to fall in love with them all and foremost showing trans people as human beings with dreams, aspirations, a boring day to day life and also happen to have to meet one or two idiots ere and there. They also show some other issues with both a flirt with class, issues, power relations, they question the institution of marriage and even mention potential domestic violence , all in 4 short (waay to short ) episodes. Yep , there is plenty of everything but I am willing to say that the friendship tops it all and is the true essence of this drama that makes makes this worth a watch.
Also Shison Jun did a really good job as Micky , and Machida Keita was just as crushable as ever... I may have fallen for them both here.... His smiles, Her smirky remarks... are highly entertaining .
Bingabilaty: high
Fluff: high
Romance: low
Friendship: high.
Definitely a show I recommend

Terribly edited but cute and beautifully filmed
A whole lot of love and a bit of sky... ok a bunch of sports and an equal amount of romance and just enough drama to keep it from just being a fluff piece but not enough drama to make it very exiting... This drama is sweet, oddly edited, beautifully filmed, lovely lighting, it includes way, way, way to many montages of the past and the editing is so off that I actually had to check if I had skipped an episode by mistake. I had not and I am pretty sure that if they switched out the montages and added more scenes that explain the plot it would have made this drama a lot better. There are few highly annoying elements in the first and last episode but other than that the characters are human, mostly lovable, sweet, ok one of the leads is borderline stalker and does need to learn about boundaries but he is just such a sweetheart and does seem to learn a lesson or two as the story continues... The same guy has the sweetest granny ever who stood for the lowest humour in the entire show.
I love how they manage to include a person with a transgender identity that is actually portrayed as just another human being along side the other very human beings in the drama + they do manage to portray love is love etc. in a pretty natural way only slightly mentioning coming out and obstacles etc... Without making it a big part of the plot thus making this drama about first of all humans who also happen to be part of the LGBTQ+ community and not another coming out story.
All things that made me add a star to two to this otherwise kind of flat plot...
This drama feels ver wholesome, if you ignore the insinuations about people sleeping tighter there and there and the guy who fell for his girlfriends brother... But other than that they all seem so pure...
So not a must watch but a pretty decent watch, just mind the first episode it does not represent the rest of the drama.
Bingabilaty: 8.5
Cutness: 9
Characters: 8.5
Lighting: 8.5
Plot: 6
Editing: 2

Good balance between Sex-Ed and entertainment.
A nice little sex-ed starter pack for teens, parents and anyone who works with teens... With a nice balance between educational drama and entertainment value without one taking over the other. This drama is tastefully made and talks about important issues that are in the minds of teens all over the world in one way or another. All from double standards, toxic masculinity, gender norms, teen pregnancy, STDs, sexuality, relationships, consent, fear of showing vulnerability as a man... It does not cover all the issues facing teens but does have a pretty good palette as well as shows great character development.
What I loved about this drama was the friendship as well as the very straight forward show of how the environment we are subjected to unconsciously will affect the people within it with prejudges and what not but also how easy lie this can be changed it he person is somewhat reasonable and able to take in information to change ones mind... Showing that people can change if they want to.. and that arguments like: "well I was raised like this and I turned out fine" does not cut it...
I also liked the parents in this drama, they are definitely not perfect but they are also sexual human beings with desires... And yes they do make mistakes and learn from them. But they also show how important the presence of adults that actually listen and take responsibility for the children education is for their opportunities in life. I would much rather be an adult makes sure my kid has protection just in case, then one who shames them in to not daring to own protection in the first place.
But the best part of this is probably how the teens in this drama complete each-other, they are all so different, complex and show different ways to be a human being, all with their own strengths and flaws helping each other out...
The Bingeabilaty for this one is about 8,5 stars.
So defiantly worth watching for all who are, will be soon or come in contact with teens...

A little bit of everything and a lot of fun to watch!
This drama is so much fun! This drama is about 80% fun cute bickering couple, and 20% drama time confusion, mystery etc
This drama offers lots of frustration, interesting twists (some more predictable then others) and extremely well written and interesting characters withe some plot holes, like why people from the past could just exit the front door without noticing anything... But over all most of it actually does cover up potential problems with time slips and the all important butterfly effect.
The male lead is the usual self centered guy that is actually very warm once you get to know him. The female lead is stubborn as amule, at times smart at times an idiot and has quite a few trust issues while being fickle and to trusting too... But I guess in a world full of doubvious people it can be hard to know who to trust... Both are very playful, have great chemistry and are really fun to watch!
Greg Hsus character may not have a lot of screen time but he is just soooooo welll written and ads a lot of spice and fun to the plot, not only with his smile, the stylist of this show did a great job with him too,
The fls colleague is another guy with a small role but done really well and it is nice to see a non typically handsome slightly over weight character be portrayed as human and not just someone who likes to eat so, extra points for that.
This drama is also highly bingable, though I may not constantly have been on my toes, I was never board and felt all kinds of emotions, Mostly ooooh they are soooo cute. This drama also shows that men and women can just be friend, they also throw in some pretty important issues that may have a small slot but are very well written...
Definitely a fun drama, that I am willing to recommend to more or less anyone, because it is just one of those dramas that has it all
Bonus: The product placement in this is off the top, funny and obvious! Again well written!
