Great female lead and interesting story that is less familiar then one may think

I came for Han Ji Min and stayed for the story.

What if... don´t we all have the what if I had stayed... what if I had showed upp in time... If I could just redo this one thing would my life change and would I be happier? What about the people around me would they be happier in a world where I made a different choice?

The story start off like many other stories like them an unhappy marriage. a miserabel life filled with misfortune and lets face it a guy who is a total d**** , to be honest the guy may evolve as the story progresses but he is still a total coward and a d**** hence not very lovable (yet handsome) making me wish the female lead would stay singel . The female lead is however cool, fun and just has this amazing vibe to her that made me wish her all the happiness in the world, no matter who is or is not beside her.

The acting in this drama is great, the side characters are all lovable, and add that little extra spark to the story-line. The pace of the drama is good as well and it truly is a good drama that almost makes you forget the whole back to the future theme to it...

If you have seen go back couple this drama is a bit more mature it has more drama, more smart humor, less awkward humor and is more about the male leads journey and how small choices can change ones life completely. More responsibility less communication problems, and an entirely different plot. I liked both the acting, the plot and the side characters in familiar wife more (but enjoyed both).

Last but not least, I was really surprised by the ending so I guess this may not be a must watch but definitely worth the watch !

Educational slightly preachy but has its moments

This little film about the city bus has some interesting moments, but I feel like Im being taught how ride a bus... It also goes a bit to far to make us think and feel stuff, something that kind of annoyed me.

But over all it is kind of impressing that hey managed to fill almost 20 minutes of film mostly on a bus, without adding elements of Speed, explosions or Hollywood stars.

Every day is a Winding road filled with Sizzling Love until it burns

Honestly this started off really good, hot and sizzling our leads eyes yelled yearning, spunk and all round entertaining and fun to watch... Though I have seen He Yu in several dramas before this, I am going to say that this role fit him so much better than the others and truly made him shine in a completely new muscular light. As most of the times we get to see him he is wearing a tank top and dripping some kind of liquid to enhance the curves of his upper arm and back muscles.

Yes there is the whole I loved you as a non biological sister now I long for you as a lover that is slightly disturbing at times but every single gaze from start to finish pretty much saiys we are not siblings and girl you are not a kid anymore... And yes there is a slight attempt to dress her all innocent but they do also show that she really is not that innocent or naive, but rather a 20 year old that knows what she wants (in a way we rarely see in cs).

The twists, the winding roads of the first 3/4 of the drama are pretty fun to watch but then came the inevitable turn that just took all this heat and chilled it down in to some kind of annoyng mess.

Making it go from an 8,5 or even 9 to a 6 landing it a generous 8.

This is a fun and easy binge most of the time. Offering us a bunch of teens in desperate need of guidance who in the lack of such seem to make rules of their own. they hurt, they get hurt, they are put in a lot of situations that they should not have to face. While there is this grownup vibe about them their adolescence and need of reel support and guidance shines through in every single episode.

Our female lead is mostly adorable and fun to watch, however there is a lot to her that uses helping others as a form of self medication instead of actually getting help to deal with her problems. Strong and extremely vulnerable at the same time.

Our male lead has his charming moments but so many rad flaggs so little fabric is shown in this shown. he is nither a pertculary good brother, friend or lover.

Our secound male lead is so sweet most of the drama, a little scaredy cat. A boy who is timid yet strong Talented, broken, kind.... I loved him the first 15 episodes or so bu thten the writers did him wrong oh so wrong that I am goint to pretend that last episode never happened.

The ending, as well as several plot-lines are rushed. The whole he helping people gets slightly repetitive and I do beliee the second hand embarrassment was a bit to much.

Sweet

To be honest I do not really undestand why this is a special, the two episodes would probebly have uped the score of the mother drama or what we sholild call it since it made it a bit more complete and givs us fluff.

There is no conflict, nothing ground breaking just a bunch of character growth and people in love, wich is really sweet. So if you do watch the original you should not miss out on these two extra episodes.

Top of the Junk

This drama is highly entertaining but more or less is the definition of guilty pleasure trash, but high it truely is quality trash. Just turn off your brain, and enjoy the leads devour each other. Where lust meets lip gloss and fluffy filters and umbrellas, oh such great umbrellas.

Aggressive kisses.... Aggressive everything... Who needs consent when the lead has oiled chest muscles so hot you could fry en egg. Forget about the past... I must have you... you looked at another man I must punish you with kisses... and honestly shirts are so overrated. And while I admit most of these kisses felt wrong to watch they were really, really good to watch too.

While the male lead is styled like a bare chested gangster our female lead looks like a Disney princess, cleaning the house looking like snow white and running around in heels wherever shegoes. That said she may have her secrets but she is pretty cool, smart and has amazing chemestry with our male lead making this one of the hottest webdramas I have seen in a long time.

Second leads that are so obsessed they make our passionate, aggressive red flag male lead look like a little kitten.

Kids are more like accessories and the village people are horrible bit each leads side kicks are worth a spin off.

But to sum it upp:

Logic? Who needs that
Medical accuracy? Nee
Consistency? No need for that either
Explanations? Nope
Real dialog? Not so much

Basically if you can live with all of the above you will be compensated with fireworks, kisses and mind numbing twists... Guilty pleasure entertainment at its best.

Episode 11

I wouldn't call it a spin off but rather another episode with a small added narrative but not really. A sweet episode that shows some kind of growth where one guy starts using words more and the other guy becomes a bit less clueless yet stays insecure.

I guess the viewers or the company, or just some one felt that the first 10 episodes where rushed so they needed another episode, and it was an okay episode.

Takidas loss for words and his clueless side kick

Cluless meets silent and mysterious in a lesson in relationships, ships, stans, stalking, obsession admiration and marbles....

As a guy who is so clueless it is a miracle they let him live alone is completely mesmerised and obsessed with this guy he met once, changed a few words with and since then got a one track mid to find that guy and just admire him. The guy has been worshiped by many but seems to like the glossy marble look in mr clueless. Honestly I am not really sure but dude sais it best when he sais nothing at all instead uses his lips for kissing thinking mr clueless will finally catch on but clueless will be clueless and is frustratingly clueless from start to finish.

That said mr cold and silent is sweet in a non verbal kind of way, the friends at uni are adorable and there is even a cute bird and kid or two if you like kids.

An okay easy bing but not really anything special

Sweet, awkward and honest

Sweet story, good show of parenting done bad but kind of ruined by the whole mama I love you bits and even the worst parents chan change and secretly mean well... when honestly people should know by now that they don´t and its not your fault so stop giving people false hopes.

Kisses where not fully dead fish but almost. There are som good acts of friendship and well portrayed fears of coming out and the creation of an environment that will make you feel coumphurtable enough to come out of that closet.

The leads yell ahhhh just a few ot many times but other than that no one was truly annoying and I appreciated the pprtrayal of hardship, and how deeply famiy can harm you family before they went all forgiving... There are a few very memorable scenes that I really appreciated seeing on screen but I will admit that most of the drama is pretty forgettable even if the boys do have lovely smiles.

Nothing new, but really sweet

This is a movie about remembrance of youth past... and could you face your teen self as the grownup you have become?

Taking us back to a 90- early 2000s typical romcom. Nostalgia meets hoodlomes and evil teachers meet teens with a lovely fighting spirit and a sweet, sweet, friendship. Some part actually grabbed my heart and squeezed it a bit to tight other felt a bit unnecessary and dare I say slightly draggy. There is a really cute puppy in this but what I love the most is probably the male leads smile, the female leads fighting spirit and the closing scene.

Fun with Filters until it ain't...

This drama was more fun than I thought it would be. As it took the face/bodyswap trope and did it really well. For once without making me feel any secound hand embarrassment instead it had me laughing so hard I almost peed a little... As the silly was not so silley and the lead actresses (both) in this drama where really really good at all but making us believe the female lead was ugly? seriously? in what world could Landy Li be considered anything but gorgeous? Her beauty is however topped by her character in this is so very fun to watch, charming, lovable, super hero a little Do Bong Soon type of strong girl meets supernatural kindness.

Her best friend is just as sweet and fun, their friendship was way more interesting than their interactions with the men in this drama.

While there is a slightly episodic element to this drama (another thing I rather avoid), the episodic elements did not distract me to much from the main story to make me loose interest. Mostly thanks to the girls acting, dynamics and ways of clearly lying to others face done well. They actually do this without becoming pathetic... or annoying.

HOWEVER!

This drama has waaaay to many episodes for the story they are trying to tell, our male lead is sweet sometimes but honestly dude can not take no for an answer and is just a little bit to obsessed to be able to fully capture my heart or make me want to ship him with the female lead or any character at all.

As with may other c-drams this too gets to be a bit to preachy and where we could have had a story about being happily single they had to go with the good old cliches... Taking this truly amazing character and dragging her to the manipulative arms of a second couple male lead.... Predictable, depressing and so not very progressive at all...

That said the laughs I had, the dynamics between the family, the girls and filters make me up the score to an 8 as it is indeed a filters done wall and a blast to watch at times. Just mind the never ending episode count and moral showers during those last episodes. Heck just stop watching once the female leads bracelet is exposed. There really is not much worth watching left to see past that point.

Friendship

This is a story about love, life and friendship that goes beyond pretty much all... Way stronger than any romance.

The leads have great chemistry and dynamics there is this slightly crazy playfulness around them there to lighten up some pretty serious issues. While some of the narrative is a bit cringy for my taste I really loved watching the interact in this movie. Both leads have great presence throughout the movie and while one exhibits this crazy broken charm the other has a more calm, muscular embrace type of charm the type ot offer stability in ones chaotic world.. The type of dynamics where they complete each other. Both with beautiful smiles, gazes and I guess a sense of awareness. An environment where it is okay to make mistakes, okay to be one self and where it is okay to show intimacy without any awkwardness, fear or misunderstanding.

A decent story brought to life by two talented actors (and a bunch of other people)

Chaos Love

Time can be confusing, good, evil can also be confusing and well this drama takes all of these slightly confusing stuff and mix them together in a combination of 5 dramas in one.

While I admit some parts of the story here more interesting then others and they should probably have gone for 25 episodes instead of 40 there is just something about this female lead that makes me want to up the score. She is 80% playful and fun and 20% a bit to naive self sacrificing.

Our male lead also has several interesting personalities, is fun to watch most of the time too.

The rest of the. cast do their job pretty well adding to the chaos and burring the lines between the good, the bad, the demons and the divine.

An interesting approach to death

I think I am a little bit to atheist for this movie... I also grew up in religious settings making this slightly trigger my "oh god no" reflex so I feel like I should start this review with some kind of disclaimer, apology...

Basically this is a movie that takes on the idea of gods plan with a slightly new approach while staying true to the self sacrifice... The pain and suffering you feel now are all part of gods plan that will lead others to greatness...

What I liked about this was the female leads acting as well as how they show how not all mens fragile egos can affect them negatively as well as lead them to making bad, really, really bad choices where they at the end of the day really can not blame anyone but themselves.

I also liked the guy playing lodz, such a sweety who did a really great job portraying what one could perceive as the so called lord but also some type of psychopath. Basically teaching us that we should all die so that others can shine.

So cheers to death

Is it Love? or is it just an addiction?

So this is a story about the extremely impulsive chef, who pretty much forgets all decency to cling on to the object of his obsession and the person, who forgot about herself and became that object... until she finally realised being that object is not really good for her.

However as addcitions go, once tempted it is a little bit to easy to relapse...

Either that or it is a story about true love, second chances, holding on no matter what.... Love will find a way... What once was broken can be fixed.

Or maybe it is both?

A thing this movie does pretty well is show that love is not always enough, and that there is indeed a love that brings both down when it should be making you stronger and better.

I am not relally sure if they ever get to showing love at all or if we just get to witness a bunch of people with obsession... But somehow these people seem to call it love.

That said, it kept my attention, leads and friends in this are mostly charming, the kisses are decent and the food and scenery is lovely.
