Cotton candy meets 100 days my prince with a twist (or ten)
This was a cotton candy ride that seemed to fall in to a dark well only to be transformed in to a lollipop. This starts off as a modern day 100 days my prince where the biggest difference is that the side characters are not as annoying and the that the male lead is a different actor who may do the same things as the prince but is so much more loving and kind. The female lead is not only the same actress but has many of the same traits but of course much much nicer. To be honest most of the characters in this drama are unbelievably nice. As the story progressed it did take several different turns fitting an historical drama yet made me forget about the 100 day prince and started reminding me of meow my secret boy, but without the maturity gap and with a totally different story-line.
Louie is really the sweetest little puppy, though he may be selfish at times he is extremely devoted and loving sometimes this turns to borderline stalking but in a more I miss you and want to be with you then a I shall own you kind of way... So I honestly wanted to adopt him.
Ko Bok Shi- Is as ind as kind can be, while being extremely strong and independent she is also extremely naive and devoted witch makes her a great match to the leads loving character.
The mothers in this drama are adorable and I truly wanted to join their gang and hug them all.
The downsides to this drama are that the humor is a bit low and in the beginning, the second male leads acting is terrible and by the end I found him extremely annoying. 7/10 turns where predictable and though the turns where as many as in a historical drama they where not that exiting. The story made me feel a wide range of emotions (+) but just not strong enough to break out in laughter or turn on the water works.
The ups are all the sweetness, the devotion, the caring and the trust between the leads. The character progression in more or less every singel character and just the way Louie interacts with the people around him. Oh and the friendships! Gotta love a drama with good friendships. And though this drama didn't keep me on my toes it was very easy to binge and made me happy and feel all fluffy inside. And well that is essentially all I really need in a romcom drama.

Sweet, stupid, fluffy...
As a regular C-drama watcher I came for the fluff, and indeed I got the fluff in abundance. This drama is packed with love confessions, missunderstandings and utter sweetness. The male lead only kisses the female lead once in her sleep and only forces a kiss on her once. The rest of the time all kisses seem to be consentual and overall the male lead is very loving and a good boyfriend if you are willing to forget the forced kiss, she definitely dousent seem to mind it and kisses him back by the end of it.
I do however believe the titel "you are so stupid" fits this drama better, this since the female lead constantly falls in to her loverivals traps. The female lead is ofcorse overly nice to eaverybody and kills her rivals with kindness.
The second couple is midannoying, the female in the couple is smart but a total stalker, a forgiving stalker who thinks ahead but still a stalker.
But if you are like me in it for the fluff Its an okay drama to watch but please if your partner forces themselvs on you run for the hills, its not romantic.

My heart broke over and over again
This is a really short and powefull drama.I loved Lee Jung Suk and Shin Hye Suns acting they portrayed so many emotions, cold, warmig upp, hot, love, dispsir, joy... I could really se how both soles slowly died during the drama. And how desperat they where both for each other and for their freedom.
Lee Jung Suks reading poetry made my heart melt and the almost kiss was probably the hottest scene I have seen in a drama.
They where really stuck, and well it's a true story, but I feel the need to remind you that collective suiside is not a preferable sullution. There was probably not very much help in the 1920s but there is in the 2020s.

Bloody but brilliant
Bloody, dark and very grose but really well written and executed psycolagickal drama. The editing between bloody murder and takboki are beautifully done. As I'm more in to the story then the blood I had to forward the bloodsplatter.
The caracters are really well written, you will probably end upp hating everyone around him (with a few exceptions), and feel the erge to protect the protagonist from all the people around him or want to see them strangeld.
The psychological stuff kept me guessing and I foundmy self efforletlessly trying to make sence of what was going on thruout the series. The casting and acting where spot on. Lee Dong Wook is the ultimate psykopath, Siwan is soo sweet that you just want to hug him and the side caracters each have their role and do it well. "I only killed one cat".
I'm still not shure what actually happened, so I may have to digest this a bit longer. Yes this is completely insane so get ready for a ride.

Goblin of the Stone?
This drama has a little bit of everything and nothing at the same time. some moments of sweet, some moments of predictable oh so predictable and some moments of oh these affects are so bad they give it a retro feel...I find myself loving the godess a bit more than I probably should and probably enjoyed some of the side characters more than the actual leads but all in all the chemestry is decent, the story is fine and the found family friendships are all top, top, top.
The vilanis however are just lazy writing at its best, bad directing at its worst.
An okay watch but not much more...
P.S. there may be a plot hole or ten so beware and do not expect everything to make sense...

Probably slow enough to meet ones past self
This is a slooooooooooooooooow paced drama that will make time stop... or at least it will fell like it stops at times, and I am pretty sure that is exactly what they are aiming for a drama that is there to slow down your pace and just let you enjoy the scenery. An invite to the great outdoors.... Country living without to much drama.Had I been the type who enjoyed healing, slooooow stuff and whatever they where doing here this would have gotten a higher score unfortunately I am more the type who gets nauseous from that stuff. So clearly I am not the target audience for this, and should probably have run away at firs live your life... breath, carpe diem...
HOWEVER!
80% of the characters in this are not only human, but are actually pretty lovable humans who make great connections, friendships and have this lovable familiar feel to them that you find yourself wanting in on whatever they have together. The elderly in this village are pure gold, and the kids are fun to watch too. There are some annoying characters who show up here and there but they are manageable/skippable.
The male lead does not force himself on the fl even once.. I do not think he even attempted a wrist grab nor did he shove her up against a wall... I guess he is a true prince on a white horse? Though she makes it clear that she can ride the horse herself. The leads are both smart, have amazing chemistry both as friends and lovers. There is this lovely playfulness to the two of them, though the process is painfully slow the two actually stay true to their characters even after they get together unlike some similar dramas (I am looking at you Hometown ch cha cha) where the leads seem to loose all brain power once they acknowledge their feelings for each other. So I love these two and am willing to say that they are one of the best main couples in all of C-dramaland.
The cinematography is gorgeous, the OST is waay to repetitive and while some of the songs are pretty decent, romantic, slow the type you would hear at a wedding. There is one song that I found myself muting for its lovely combination lullaby and traditional children's nursery song...
The way the drama approaches divorce, second chances , age gaps and facing ones fears is pretty ok, a bit preachy at times but relatively ok. I am also pretty sure that if it weren't for this being a C we would definitely have a lesbian second couple, the twos chemistry is even better than the leads chemistry.
All in all a sloooooow drama, with some good, some meeh and a whole lot of lovable characters.

Everybody Loves Misaki
This is a story about a teacher who is so pretty and kind that most humans (no matter what gender or sexual preference) seem to fall in love with her at first sight, she is also cool, kind the type who makes the people around her shine... And is probably one of the most human female leads in all of dramaland. Yes she has flaws, and goes though a bunch of stuff but there is just something about Misaki that wins over both the people in the drama as well as those watching it.Even though Misaki is loved by all, she has this tiny little issue of being stuck in a society that has taught her to value monogamy above all , and well that puts her in a kind of painful and awkward situation when her husband decides to break it to her that his love for her is more of the platonic type (one could have guessed that a sexless marriage kind of may have that issue). But hope is the last thing to leave the wed woman... and well as long as there is love... However hubby is not really good at actually using words to communicate and rather likes to show her with actions instead... which is kind of being a total ****** ***** but then again it is hard to blame the dude as he indeed is a product of a heteronormative society...
Hubbys boyfriend on the other hand may be a tad oblivious to the society he lives in, but is just the cutest boy ever....
There are also a bunch of nice friendships, alcohol drinking, food and flirting... as I said there is something about that Misaki that makes everybody fall for, and well that is a pleasure to watch.
I also enjoyed the take this drama has on divorce.
Definitely a decent 10 episode binge. It may not make your heart flutter but it will make you think about stuff...

Cute and awkward
This is a really sweet drama about making friends and finding oneself while making a whole lot of mistakes with a pretty interesting love triangle keeping us wondering yet without to much anxiety (for me). This drama is really sweet, not only plot wise but the whole set is color coded till it almost becomes absurdly obvious but sweet from the books in the library to the walls and umbrellas and even flowers all match in some way or another and I loved it!
The drama deals with internalised homophobia, admitting ones own feelings, jealousy, leaving your comfort zone as well as opens up the discussion about true kindness and bravery. All done with humour and cuteness, did I mention the drama is really sweet.
The main lead is just the most awkward sweety that keeps on handing out sweet sweet moments. The gun outside the triangle is the king of support as well as well fitted one liners, and the other two leads are each others complete opposites giving us both out beloved icicle and cup of hot chocolate moments mixing several beloved tropes in to this sweet, sweet drama.... okay I am going to stop writing sweet but if you are looking for something sweet, this is definitely worth watching.

At a distance spring is sweet and tough
This is a really sweet drama that combines allot of sweet and fluff with some pretty deep and sereus issues as well as teach us that boys do cry.The OST in this drama complements it perfectly adding to the sweet fluffy tone but I can not help but wonder if the fluff gets the best of this drama only letting the important issues touch te surface without actually getting in to them. To be honest I can't decide if it is both good or bad to do so since acnowledging these issues without letting them take over could actually be a step forward towards breaking the silance and just showing that they are just one part of a persons life but not all of it.
The main couple is sweeter than cotton candy but the chemistry between the bromance is way more interesting than the romance.
The characters development in this drama is great and though some actions made me mad I did enjoy the friendships and the dynamics in the group yet still felt that something is missing.
All in all worth your time but not a masterpiece.

Before the sunshine there will be darkness, after the sunshines there will be darkness...
Mental illness, the stigma people with it face, challenges of treating mental illness and so on are all very important issues. The creators of this drama seem to want to do it all tackle how it is to treat an illness, the perspective of family, friends, the patient and society all in one while still offering the viewers a dose of sunshine between all these very painful issues . Offering the viewers a whole palette of mental issues. To be honest I think they got pretty close but there is something that keeps me from giving this a full score.I feel like I a m a bit undecided about the way they try to visualise the perspective of the patient experiencing an episode of mania, depression, anxiety and so on. And there are a few scenes that just feel forced and a bit to over the top healy for my liking. But they do manage to squeeze in a whole lot of great lines and important cases that need to be shouted out loud a lot more.
I could also relate to several parts of the story and perspectives, however as they took these to the extreme the relatability kind of subsided a bit (again lowering the score) .
Our female lead is amazing, Park Bo Young does a great job showing the whole spectrum of her character as well as how different she can be depending on the situation or who she is with. Playful with her bestie, child like with her mom, stand offish with the guy who acts weird on the bus and extremely patient with har patients while still showing us that nurses are human too. Probably one of the characters I could relate to the most from all the dramas I have watched so far.
Our male lead is so sweet and fun whenever the female lead was mentioned or on screen it felt feels like watching a child about to open presents on their birthday. Yet the guy still managed to seem competent and interesting.
So I would say Yeon Woo Jin nailed this role.
Jang Dong Yoon A.K. A the best friend is also adorable, interesting and a blast to watch, a great character versatile, helps forward the plot as well as made me feel bad for hi so many times it got ridiculous.
This is not a romance but it does have som romance and the second couple outshines the first couple with their screen time together as well as their story some of the best scenes in this drama where given to them and the way D.R Hwang adresses the mother in law issue was the cherry on top of this salty caramel sunday of a show.
The rest of the nurses, doctors, and patients where very well casted, some of the patients guardians or what they are called had me boiling but the acting was good.
All in all a drama I do recommend, just be were of the triggering elements

Fun
I really enjoyed this drama mostly for the female lead and second male lead but also for the scenery and patches of side stories. While there were several turns that had me doubting the plot, and risked major moments of second hand embarrassment. I believe they kept an okay balance and had me pressing that next episode button over and over again... secretly wishing I could take a day off just to binge...
I loved the female lead, every part of her, every personality of hers, her acting, her being an actress, her smile. Everything, While I have seen her in dramas before, this is the performance that puts her on my crush-list, and will have me deliberately checking out more of her work.
Its not a perfect story, and it has some points that feel under-explored, and kind of iffy. The last episode is a mess a true victim of lazy writing, feels a bit like oh we have 30 threads to tie up in just one episode, lets add another thread or two instead of offering proper closure.
But other then that its a fun watch.

You can't hurry love and you can't hurry revenge but you can turn down the volume
Part two of the story keeps teaching us that revenge takes time, you can´t hurry love and you cant hurry revenge... However you can apparently scream a lot so before you watch this you may want to turn down the volume or keep the mute button close as there is more crying, yelling and screaming than dialog in this season of this drama, that I yet again do not get why they had to split in to two...The cast is lovely, scenery lovely there is a bit more blood and splatter than there was in season one and also more of Lee Do Hyun (but not nearly enough), the development of the story is pretty interesting some twist more predictable than others, but I would say it is a well paced, well thought of story with very few plot holes and unnecessary turns that create a beautiful web of revenge and friendships gone all over the place. Having the most unnecessary part of this drama be splitting it in two.
I hated the mothers voices in this drama but loved every single portrayal of motherhood here, letting some moms be selfish, others selfless, and some more of the found family type. Giving us a lot more evil than good.. And honestly I love it.
While there is some romance in this, it is not nearly enough to satisfy a romance lover like me but than again it is not a romance, so I guess the pebbles of romance we get should be considered a bonus to the otherwise thrilling screaming plot.
All in all a really decent story, easy to bing (an afternoon will do) and fun to watch... Just mind the screaming.
P.s. I hate to say this but Song Hye Kyo had better chemstry with Jung Sung Il than Lee Do Hyun, almost making me forget that his character (Ha Do Young) is a superficial sexist jerk deep down inside.
Also what I said about part one (linked as a comment) still goes

Melting Icicle meets a not so pathetic female lead...
This was sweet, fun at times draggy at times... You may also need to know that this is a FANTASYI am a complete sucker for cruel, cold and brutally honest male leads, and this guy had it all.... The female lead was not overly stupid or pathetic and was actually pretty lovable most of the time. And the mother of this drama is probably one of my all time favourite moms... to add to this there are also a whole lot of gif worthy moments and fun/honest/absurd dialog.
And while some of the twists are highly predictable there were a few that did manage to surprise me... The side characters did not show any overbearing or annoying tendency so I should probably have rated this higher than I did but there was just something in there that was missing. Could be a lack of chemistry between the second couple, could be that the lack of "it" in the rest of the side characters and it could just be that some side storys seemed unnecessary and just deviated from the plot. Or some cringy dialog/monolog here and there... Or it could just be my mood and the fact that I had misjudged the timing to binge this and had to take a break in the binge... Whatever it was it affected the score of this drama that has more or less all I love in a drama.
P.S. there was also a hint of gay representation that flashed by in an instant but it was still there to make me happy.

Brutal, bloody, beautifull yet probably overhyped..
This drama was awful to watch but has pretty high entertainment value, some parts where good, others mediocre, it did leave me guessing (some theories where right others wrong) and did keep me on my toes at times. It does have some interesting issues and does make you feel stuff... but not to much. And it definitely did leave room for more seasons as well as had me closing my eyes a lot. It is utterly brutal in some scenes that did both gross me out and just made me feel pain... a lot of pain, impressive painful pain. What ups the score for this otherwise pretty okay but not worth the hype drama is the beautiful combination of brutality and childrens games with extremely well (mis)fitted OST, something that I personally am a complete sucker for and the fact that my very picky and hard to get to watch K-dramas with husband said it was the best K-drama he had seen. the visuals here are just stunning (unless they are gross) and the contrast is just so good and hits all the right spots for me. I also liked to hate most of the characters and did enjoy some great (dark) humor and one liners from some of the contestants.
So this is not something for the faint hearted but for those of you with a somewhat bloody darkside this may just hit the spot. Just don´t get to attached to anyone....

A typical filler c
This drama starts off pretty okay and then takes us on a journey of all thing predictable, boring and dare I say kind of annoying... I have issues with the plot and though I did like the female lead most of the time and admit the leads had nice kisses it was just not enough to have me care about any of the progress or characters towards the end....There are som nice lines, sweet smiles, longing, yearning and pretty displays of lust and love... but the over all feel is 7 is a generous rating it could probably be a 6 if not for the charming female lead (most of the time), sweet side characters with nice smiles and decent chemistry between the leads.
