Actually, rereading this I think I only really disagree with one point generally: "Following someone without them…
Actually you make a good point, I was trying to be extra clear but as you say there is a difference between being shy and watching in a distance and following someone home. Thank you for bringing it to my attention π
Sadly, I kind of expect to see such behaviour in cheap dramas that are full of tropes and have become a bit desensitized…
Thank you for your thoughts, I am not eather an official writer (have neither studied or have it as my job) but decided to try writing articles here a few months ago just for fun (started by co-writing), your idea sounds very interesting so why donΒ΄t give it a try?
But you can always write about the prettyest umbrella here too! Really anything umrella goes π
Ok, I can not resist this, that last one is going (with link) at the top of our article... if vvn123 agrees, were where you when we started wtiting it...
(1) I'm Not a Robot(2) Splash Splash LOVE(3) Secret Life of my SecretaryHonourable mention:(4) Cheese in the Trap…
Hi, I was experementing with that one so it is not open vor voting yet but the link should work. You can add these yourself and as many as you want here are instructions on how to do so incase you do not know https://kisskh.at/profile/Shirioink/feeds/1Ak04TR
Addicted is so painful to watch, exactly for the reasons youβve listed. Seriously thought I was the only one…
Thank you for commenting. I honestly believe it is a global problem, I found Addicted a very interesting watch just not a romance more of a portrayal of obsession. You are probably right, but maybe some day...
I wondered if you were going to mention Kim Won Hae in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. I had the same initial reaction…
Hi, how nice to see you commenting on this article too π₯° I really do not rememer that character from AKO at all, but then I dropped it for some reason too (I do not know why, it just did not fitt my mood). Funny you should mention the lead in SWDBS, I write about that in part 2 of consent that focuses on K-dramas but I talk about it from a deciet point of view not so much a punch line. But the use of the LGBTQ communinity that way is deffenetly problematic and should probably be talked about more but it feels more like a common trope in western shows than asian ones I can only think of 2 (of wich I havre only seen one) amoung the dramas/movies I have watched.
I really liked how real the portrayal in Mad for each other was, and was conflicted about hen the ML crossdressed, it did guive Samantha more screen time but did feel a bit like a joke (same with the cop in SWDBS), but looking at both shows as a whole they did rather feel progressive than opressive in my moderatly trained eye.
Any way thank you for reading and sharing your thaughts!
Thank you for commenting, I will check out your link too, part 2 uses exampels from K-dramas but the tropes are…
Sure, I just saw it, and yes it was long it may take a while for me to read it and reply, if It takes more than a week feel free to send me a reminder though π
