I deleted Tencent the second I was done with TLP. Made the iQiyi reservation already. I cannot believe we get it now but CCTV was pushing, hard. That must mean they have confidence in it.

iQiyi will broadcast on the web (Tencent too because iQiyi traded that option to be allowed to show TLP on their international app but nobody cares about them thanks to TLP) and they are in need of a real hit. They will still have to coordinate with CCTV due to priority.
Now I am not sure what that will mean because for WDB CCTV didn't do any promotion but the trailer existed. So if I am to guess, something will be released, probably a trailer. More than that, I can't tell.

They may do web distribution for one of his dramas in the future but that will be like WDB, where they had no control over the broadcast and didn't dare suppress him. Its an extremely important emperor, he founded the Eastern Han Dynasty and by the end of his reign, consolidated the whole of China. Very interesting historical figure on many, many accounts and this would be the first drama dedicated to him.

This second part is where Xiao Zhan's name comes in. It has been brewing for quite a while but the rumors are everywhere now. As always consume with caution! This one is absolutely not certain. But this is an excellent cake.
