Are there any news somewhere? Episode count changed so why the delay?
No news. Lots of melons but that doesn't mean anything. I would get banned probably if I genuinely expressed my feelings over Tencent's delay of this drama.
I don't think so when he wrapped up a drama he takes a long vacation for months and goes MIA In the meantime he…
He will join another group around May. He shoots about two dramas a year which is normal because he actually studies his characters, instead of blindly shooting as many as he can pack in.
Calm down bro, just stay a quite, u will get some people mad, a lot karens in here 🤣
China will work it out in time, different societies take different roads towards acceptance. Actually irl, in the cities, it's not bad at all and it's getting better. I think especially with the younger, educated generations, opinions are changing. Come to Shanghai, you would have a lively scene to see.
One of the problems which caused the latest crackdown though wasn't caused by anything of the sort but by shippers, especially irl shippers. It absolutely is out of hand and it is a very toxic environment. This has nothing to do with being an LGBT ally and everything to do with fetishizing m/m relationships and causing major issues to real people while monetising it. This actually set back the progress that was happening in the media for a while there. This will all have to get untangled before we get back to it.
‼️The Longest Promise now has 43 approved episodes (prev. 40) and is tentatively scheduled to air 1st half…
The problem with additional material is that you have to resubmit it for review. This could partially explain the delays we have seen.
Of course more episodes does not mean it's a good thing. C dramas are notoriously stuffed with fillers and fewer episodes meant these would be mostly gone. Expand the number and chances are, it's additional fillers that will go to the actor(actress) whose agency pushed for it (💸💸💸) because that's how cent works 🤷
Of course they didn't . Tencent just has a lot of internal troubles and many different factions, some of which…
Tencent is a mess. It was clear from their financial report at the end of the year (the real one, not the fan fakery) that they were in big trouble and this year started with corruption and clean up talk, while TBP failed.
They are now risking and airing (sort of) BL as a test in order to see if it will pass in which case they might try the bigger BL IPs. I don't know how they plan to do this because BL depends on CP exploding and that is still not allowed but obviously they think BL can help them out of their crisis.
I don't know why they simply didn't air TLP for winter vacation when they have a built in audience for it and when it has a far bigger reach with the general audience 🤷
Yes, she was a huge star before the incident. Huge. Even today her name is a household name, an actress, not traffic.
I absolutely agree. The whole culture of fandoms needs a good, hard shake up.
When it comes to matters like that of BBH, theoretically the action the Chinese govt started last year, Qinglang, should have curbed this. In practice, none of that worked, for various reasons. It's depressing.
This drama hasn't aired yet.

Try better, we have had way more successful trolls here 🤣
Lots of small videos floating around today from the final scene they did today, they are very cute!
It's been so long that he has been out of China that I can't wait tbh. Do lots of networking xz!! 😁

The drama has passed the trial so we can only wait now.
