I don't think I can express myself adequately to say how much I appreciate Kang Hoon's portrayal of child Do Joon.…
I adore the office scene right at the ending because I find it so ambiguous.
The child Do Joon keeps his cool and delivers the truth about why his grandfather quizzed him in the first place, sidestepping the truth with a truth. When the vase was broken, the grandfather scolded the older grandson for this reason, losing his cool. Yet child Do Joon does not and he gives his answer.
At that point, I have to wonder if the grandfather believed him and then I think that it actually doesn't matter. Here is a potential heir that is definitely very intelligent and absolutely what the old man is looking for. If he happens to know the future all the better but if he does not, accepting his explanation is good enough because why throw away a potential asset for the company. And if the old man knows one thing, it is business, as seen by the fact he worked out the solution of fattening the shrimp. Ah ah I love this show.
I don't think I can express myself adequately to say how much I appreciate Kang Hoon's portrayal of child Do Joon. I know they had to speed it up for obvious reasons but I am going to miss the phenomenal dynamics he had on screen with the grandfather. They played off each other so well.
I loved the second episode even more than the first, overall , absolutely brilliant and I am so grateful it is three episodes per week because even that is not enough. More spoilers about my fave part below.
I really love it too... Song Joong Ki is brilliant here on the first episode alone. I was worried he wouldn't…
I found his acting choice during the execution scene particularly interesting. There was a mix of unwillingness, desperation, being lost in the way his eyes weren't static. I have seen many gory moments by now so on principle, this was nothing yet it was, for me, genuinely disturbing. Really well done throughout. I hope the writing holds for his sake!

He is a great actor and it really showed here. It was visible way back during DOTS but somehow most of the attention went to her for it. I wasn't a fan of Vincenzo and actually ended up dropping it but here he is back.
Let's hope it continues and that we have a great show waiting for us. (Please 2022, you made me suffer enough with awful endings, you owe me!)
This had a darker start than I expected and this fits my personal taste. I am absolutely loving it so far. It promises intrigues and I am here for all of it, business and personal.
I know some below disliked the filter but I actually thought it was really appropriate for the mood of the drama. I don't care the city is colourful, the mood isn't and should not be, so for me, it fit well. So far, so good and I am hooked. Seems like it will be some ride!
when does the chinese winter vacation start? and yes i hope TLP wont get aired until the world cup ends.
End of January.
We have waited this long, we can wait a bit longer and avoid the football plus winter vacation is a decent time for it.
It's necessary to be realistic and I want this drama to do as well as possible. That means finding an appropriate and beneficial airing period. It is definitely an important part of that success. Of course, we can only hope 🤞but everything TC has done so far doesn't give me much of it.
woahjust finished the noveli hope they changed it up abit bcs the novel is quite... so to speak, bland its emotional…
The drama kept significant moments but by all reports it has also changed quite a bit. Shi ying is the main lead here. Hopefully it will air when melons say so we will finally know.
The World Cup is starting soon so chances of this airing are low. The melons are still talking about December and more frequently winter vacation (remember that's not the same in China as in the west) but 🤷 I hate Tencent.
How was it? Much romance? Any love triangles? Happy ending?
It's a great show, it's relaxing, great couple, good communication, no forced drama and miracle of miracles, amazing intimacy moments for a Chinese show.
Romance yes ful of it .. no love triangle yes happy ending .. Its a good watch if you like sports. tackrace then…
No, he didn't. He was talking about Chinese marriage laws, whereupon a man cannot get married before he is 22 (it is 20 for women).
He is not underage. Like in many countries, in Chinese law adulthood begins at 18. Please don't spread falsities because you are making it seem like she got together and had sex with a minor i.e. a child. Just don't.
