Really enjoyed this drama. Just another reminder to not trust the rating. That being said, it's not everyone's cup of tea, but if you like the genre, you'll thoroughly appreciate it.

That's the thing, with sk and their dramas getting more spotlight, people try to find faults in everything and are getting a little too sensitive. The main point that people forget is that theses dramas are majorly made for their population and contains their cultural references and their inside jokes.

Exactlyy! I am someone who loves the slice of life genre and am all for people overcoming struggles so I binged the first half. But this is getting too repetitive and it's a little annoying atp.
As a south asian myself, i don't see where the need for taking offense comes from. Because
1. The video was obviously based on aladdin and it was potrayed by disney by mixing both Indian and Arab cultures(i looked it up) 2. I read in the comments below that it was a recreation of sorts of an 80's ice cream ad which should tell you a lot about the content. 3. The video wasn't demeaning or degrading in the sense that anyone or any culture was ridiculed imo. Atleast not like in King the Land where the Arab prince was potrayed as a materialistic misogynist.
All that aside i do think the video as a whole is weird, like i would think of any ad from that time. The dance and the song were cringe. tbh I don't completely see the need to put out a teaser like that but to each their own ig.

I've probably cried a bucket for the last 4 eps.... So happy with how it ended because it wasn't rushed or wrapped up for the sake of it. It was done so beautifully that you can't help but get immersed and feel their emotions like your own. It was one hell of a ride but if i could, i would gladly do it all over again.
