Only on episode 3 and don't know how to put it but it's definitely weird. One minute she is in China and another minute she is in a different country. The ML saved her life which naturally will have a big effect on her but rather than showing that she first felt grateful and slowly her feelings grew as they met again and spent time together, they just directly made her fell in love with him. This doesn't make any sense. Plus seeing her background and character till now I can see that the FL is brave but crying when she found that he already has a girlfriend is so out of character. She never suspected that he might be in a relationship or married? Talk about being totally one sided. The definite thing I found about the FL is that due to her family background or to say situation she is desperate for company or love. Love deprived because of messy family that's why her confident and brave personality becomes timid and awkward in front of the ML like she doesn't even know what she is doing.

What really? Then I wouldn't have started this show. I don't like Xiaohan and Chen Mo's pairing. And Chen Mo is shown as only a supporting character so I thought that no matter what happens in their youth Jiayue and Xiaohan would be together.
The first thought that comes to my mind after watching these types of dramas is that thank God I wasn't born in those times. What I must say is that the actors performed really well. They depicted their characters really good. Though this is only season 1 but it was centered on the FL and troubles faced by women, so I didn't really like that part. It's good and thank God it's having a season 2 because except the FL's problem everything remained unaddressed. The plot was understandable, but it looks like they wrapped up hastily, seeing the ending. The only character that I admire is Qin Sheng Yi, her character showed the deep-rooted thinking that women had, no matter how successful they become and showed the reality that being too naive or to say stupid doesn't only harm us but others as well.
I am looking forward to their reality, after they fell in love, what would happen?? He can't leave his country and she can't leave hers. He can not abandon his responsibility and she has her family to take care of. Everything that means important to her is in a different direction than his. So, very much looking forward to how things will end. Just hope that they don't follow the new c-drama trend ( where one of the leads die or everyone lives in misery. The last few episodes were a real tearjerker 😭😭😭, Just why did Jing Yuan and Xing Yue had a bad ending😭😭 more than Fan Yue and Bai Shuo I love the story of Jing Yuan and Xing Yue. Their story had me in tears and it was so painful to see Jing Yuan waiting for 60,000 years and not able to be together anymore. They became stars, just like that.
Just completed watching season 1 and really want to see season 2 now. But the only good thing is that they wrapped up season 1 properly and can start new story from season 2. If they had left season 1 as to be continued then I don't know what would I have done.
God I hate that elder of Lanling, only a muscle brain, always trying to kill without making any sense when he isn't powerful enough to kill anyone. A stupid Character.
The only reason to start watching this was because of ARP but the plot is nice and I really liked the characters and couples but I don't know why the only couple I can't accept is Lei Wu Jie ( Ao Rui Peng ) and Ye Ruo Yi (Flora Dai). They really don't look great together.

I watched dashing youth first and it's not necessary to watch this first. But because I watched Dashing youth first, I somehow keep comparing both as the plot is about two generations. So, my advice is that you watch this first and then dashing youth. Your choice.
I am watching this after seeing Ao Ruipeng in moonlight mystique and he played his character so well. For me this drama is all about Lie Wu Jie's [ Ao Ruipeng] cuteness and naivety.
