Seriously it's like they are trying to force me to laugh but it's not even funny. The reason I started watching this is because of Kang Tae Oh and even though I am only on episode 1 and I try not to judge too quickly but the FL is too annoying, unreasonable, and too be honest not a great match with the ML, I don't know why they always put a calm and matured ML with a temper, outlashing and annoying FL Character. I understand that a relationship of seven years and the slow torture for seven years is not something that can be be undone in an instant or a day and you might be right about the gaslighting, It’s not that I hate her, I really like the FL for her striving and hardworking personality in every aspects of her life but she was unable to defend her friend when her ex boyfriend down talked about her every minute and even if she took a light stand she wasn't even able to be angry at him and just dropped the topic. That's the part which I didn't like. You might have seen that other way but for me it was wrong.
I really like the story and the ML and FL are great together but the one thing I am not used to is that the actress playing the FL, I have watched other shows of her mostly in which she has a bold character in love and life, which is quite opposite of what she is playing now, as a meek and senseless person in love, which I really quite hate. I really don't like that aspect of the FL ( her relationship ) she should know that her boyfriend doesn't respect what she does and doesn't care about her opinion, he just wants a housewife and control her, he doesn't respect her as an individual. Why the hell is she even with him and crying for him, he doesn't deserve it. Other than that I like how the FL works on her career growth.

Agree, I can't stop comparing both characters of Sang Yan and yes, this one is complex because of the FL's tough life and sufferings. But I love how she is strong yet vulnerable at the same time.
Who knew that the always fun having Sang Yan in Hidden Love suffered such a blow in love. I love Sang Yan in this and in Hidden Love but I think their Character setting and personality are different in both dramas. But still I love him in both dramas.
This aspect of the drama is not romantic at all, giving up your future for love is not worth it. The FL did everything, made every decision and choice by herself, knowing that he reminded her many times to rethink her decision, and she stood stubborn on her decision to join the research facility and now she wants him to care. This is just putting pressure on the ML, like saying -- "hey look I am ruining my future for you so you should reciprocate my feeling., show some care for me". I mean why should he????? Yeah, for some people it makes them happy seeing the person they love revolve around them but for some people it's too much, it's like forcing them to take responsibility one way or another. Though later the FL's attitude corrected but still I didn't like the FL's character setting for being naive or to a stage foolish and easily giving up on herself. I know that people can't just become smart and mature in a day, but the FL is just too soft hearted and too far from reality. I mean com on even kids know that you shouldn't sign anything without reading it properly or consulting with a professional, she is in college first year, studying far from home so she should have thought that even though if she couldn't get job now in first year, she have some time until graduation and can take her time thinking upon it no matter how big of an opportunity and shouldn't just trust strangers. Seriously at some point in the drama I felt like I would go there and give her a lecture.
Only on episode 4 but seriously the FL and her mother are starting to annoy me big time. I mean the FL doesn't even know what she is doing. Being shy is alright but she is just some confused and easily panicked, over sensitive girl. And her mother doesn't even get me started. And as it's written in the plot summary the FL is definitely not adorable; at the start she was quite alright but just only after 3 episodes she has become annoying.
Loved the drama and the cast selection is just perfect. I really want a second season of this to show the uncle who taught Ga Min and also Ga Min's childhood [about his father]. Plus, it would be wonderful if they show a romantic arc in season 2 for Ga Min and his continuing journey to college.
I started watching this because of Dew and I must say he did a good joy conveying the emotions and the plot is also quite alright but the things that diverted my attention was that they were being too obvious about the products that they advertised I mean they took every chance to advertise the products which was weird for me. And one last thing is that I don't know whether it's because of culture or the actor's preference but the kiss scenes in this show were like for kids. After having watched so much K drama these types of kiss scene don't give me the butterfly feeling anymore.
The comments surrounding this drama almost made me gave up on it but the only reason to start watching this and to complete it was Dew. After reading the comments I looked at this drama with a new perspective rather than comparing it to the Chinese version which from my Pov is also not too good and I didn't watch the Korean version because of its cast selection. The things to point out in this remake is that they couldn't completely copy the original style due to culture differences. They changed the ML and FL's character and personality which turned this drama in a whole different direction. But the main point lacking is that there is no chemistry between the leads, so the only hope of this drama was the second lead couple which made me continue watching this. The actors are good, but they couldn't properly portray the emotions of the original version and while trying to mimic the original they messed up their own Thai view.
I watched this after completing Blossom and I must say that after watching Blossom this one is a letdown. I know that both dramas are different in everything, but I started watching this because of Li Yun Rui and it turned out to be a disappointment. I have no problem with the cast selection, but there is no chemistry between them. There is no depth in their romance, just I am not able to explain properly but as shown in plot that the ML and FL are deeply in love, is not properly acted out. The second lead couples are just there to highlight the Main CP. Their own stories are problematic and full of flaws. Yes, friends intervene in each other's relationships when they see problems but in this drama it's a bit over. Next is the FL's problematic character, she wants to be self-reliant and focus on her career, I say there is no better thing than that but since she know that her relationship with the ML is a serious one and got the gist that he wants marriage but she is scared of it then she should have talked and reasoned it out with the ML why she doesn't want to marry or what other options they have in their relationships. Same goes for the ML, like dude yes, it's hard to move on but at least have some self-respect. It has been 5 years since the FL broke the relationship but being so obsessed over her is not healthy. The ML being smitten over the FL is not natural at all. The 5 years they lived separate are shown as a waste in their lives. Overall, I am not against the main CP but there are problems with the plot and the execution as well. It's not a well-directed drama.
