What's with the ending? I was looking forward to the ending but what the hell. When are they going to do a second season? They better not change the cast not even a single one. God, I hate this type of to be continued stories. Don't know how long I will have to wait for second season.

It's a fantasy drama, where I had expectations from the characters, but it was all a disappointment. I am not against sad ending or anything in fact I like them as they depict reality but the writer or whoever, made the drama all about self-sacrifice and extremely dramatic. At the end all was lost.

I meant to say why drag the story if the writer just wants every character to die? I know that not every character can get a happy ending but, in the story, no one got a happy ending not a single one.
And by making it living hell is through making one character witness all of the characters death at the same time. Or you can say only one survives while the rest dies at the same time.

Just completed watching... incredibly slow-paced drama with over dramatic characters. Especially the side characters and main as well. The writer definitely has something for self-sacrifice. When he wanted the main characters to feel living hell then why not kill all characters at once rather than killing them one by one and making the ending shitty.

You know that it was a humiliation for the FL right?

I on the other hand like this actress but don't know why she chooses these types of roles? And not coming out with the truth was a way to let the misunderstanding grow. It grew too much and then at the end became a scene at the poetry contest.

1. Yes, plagiarized poems but from different world, so no one is getting hurt from him plagiarizing those poems as they don't exist in Dafeng, and he learned them in school.
2. And why should he tell them that he is Number 3? They don't need to know, don't forget that he helped Number 6. And he didn't make others reveal their identity {the other members sort of revealed it themselves.}

[you are saying that if someone mistook you for someone else then you will let the misunderstanding continue as long as it benefits you.}
The FL took the opportunity of the misunderstanding to use him {not saying that it was wrong because she needed him and, he might have come under her wing if she just told that she is the second princess but that was for him to decide.}
4. And I am not against the FL and ML couple she is getting mature bit by bit. I am just stating her wrong attitude and mindset [written by the writer or whoever wrote the character}. The mistakes she made were annoying and stupid for me and I personally don't like oblivious characters which is why I commented on her character settings.

Moral police?... Oh, please I am not playing that as I know that there is no black and white. But maybe you don't know. ML telling about the sect to Lord Wei is {as explained in the scene is for the realm sect leader to forge a connection with the guardians}. And you should use your energy to see the faults in the FL's character.
About the duties as a princess... right now she is enjoying the privileges from her position, but shouldn't she at least know the situation of her country. It's fine that she is not interested in politics and court affairs, but she should know the stances and position or at least the angles of court if not for anything to at least protect herself from getting used by others and repeating what happened to her friend.

Yes after her best friend's death she changed and matured a bit but saying that ML Desire to get backing is manipulative how? He is someone who is from modern World and being ambitious is not wrong. So it's not manipulation and since she understood that he wants backing from the grand princess means she acknowledge that she doesn't have that kind of strength. It's not wrong for her to use ML for poetry but her lying was not right (doesn't matter whether she apologized) when she understood that he was thinking her as grand princess then she should have corrected him. She also used him as you say the ML wanted to get a backing she used his talent while lying but he didn't lie about his identity.

Guess you didn't read the part where I said that it was to Protect his identity as he doesn't know all members of the Realm sect.
And about the poetry competition yes you can say that one of the reason is for her brother but she herself wanted to beat the grand princess, which is not wrong but for her duties I meant being carefree Isn’t wrong but she should know that all the luxuries she has been enjoying her whole life as a princess (whether she wanted to be one or not) comes at a price.

The ML is lying to the members of Realm Sect because he is protecting himself as he doesn't know who those other people are, and he didn't hurt any of them. And yes, you are right that this is a male lead centric drama, and the FL doesn't have a proper development arc, but does it make sense that her lying to him about her identity and saying that it was the ML's fault and the ML is unloyal. The writer didn't make any sense of the FL's character as a princess. Thought she has been spoiled as a child but as she grew the writer should have made her character as someone who at least knew how things work at palace, or she should have been made aware of her responsibilities as a princess. Her being innocent and naive is not wrong but there is a difference between being naive and stupid.

Thank god, I mean the writer for knowing when to limit the stupidity.

Then does she appear often? I really don't want to watch her stupidity.

I am on episode 8 and just got the urge to ask. Did the FL become sensible later on or not? She is starting to become the type of character that I dislike. Please tell me that later she is sensible enough to read the room or at least she doesn't let herself be humiliated. The only reason for me watching this now is Dylan and the comedy scenes and I don't want the FL character to ruin my interest.

It's amazing really,no complaints except the ost. I mean the music is nice and matches the drama well but it's been used too frequently which is lowering the feeling of the scenes.

Any idea on which month is this going to release ???

Just watched " Love Song in Winter " I liked it and started watching it because of Johnny Huang and I liked all the roles he has played till now, but I really want to see him in other types of roles, you know other than a soldier, firefighter or a rich boy. I really want to see him play in a villain's role or a killer or just anything different. Him playing same roles is getting less exciting.
