Gonna be the first proper system kdrama (Alhambra kinda did it) and if it does well, we could end up getting a lot of system webtoon adaptations!

Thought it was pretty good for a palette cleanser after binging thrillers. Really light and had a fun time watching. Though it did feel kinda empty, I have seen the webtoon fans not loving it cause of the changes, and I can kinda relate as someone who hates some of the changes made in some kdramas adapted from webtoons I read.

Typically anything above a 7 is pretty good, but on MDL typically speaking anything below a 7.7 is rarely decent. The ratings for MDL and IMBD are different.

I've really been enjoying Go Soo in his recent projects this decade. From Money Game, to Missing s1 and s2 and even Parole Examiner Lee (which I felt was so underrated). Looking forward to this!

I still remember the day the first episode came out and I thought it was pretty interesting and thought about waiting till it aired to then binge it, but then covid hit and it became a hit but I got spoiled and didn't bother watching it. Gonna check it out again.

On the surface it does seem like that, but it does have a thriller tag, so I'm guessing that the teacher will be obsessed with his student's writing.

I know this is a late reply, but one of my favourite pieces of media is The Count of Monte Cristo and when I saw that Goodbye Mr Black was adapted I thought I'd love it. After forcing myself to watch 6 episodes, I had to give up ;/

Think its slightly above Again My Life but below Reborn Rich for me. I just dont get why screenwriters struggle so much with adapting stories like these where the main lead is able to use knowledge of the past to his advantage. They just write it so subpar, the majority of this kdrama is held up by the acting.

I really hope future kdramas and cdramas learn from this and actually adapt the idea of systems into their shows instead of trying what this cdrama did.

I remember reading the manhwa when it first came out but its been years since I read it and forgot a lot tho.

So I haven't seen the drama yet (waiting till it finishes next week) but I'm wondering who ML ends up with so far. I know he has his ex wife like you said but are they together now?

Just wanna let you know that there is no season 2. This drama and Judge Returns are two different dramas, but the same actor playing the ML in both and is a judge in both, thats all the similarities.

I mean since 2010 he's been in 18 kdramas and only three that id consider a flop. Two just happen to be one after the other (Divorce Insurance and The Good Man) but before that he was in banger after banger imo.

I will never understand choosing someone who's more impulsive and enjoying the passion over someone who's gentle and dependable (basically a green flag). Guess I'll have to check it out to see how they develop the romances.
