Title Love in the Moonlight Spoiler
Unpopular opinion: not the biggest fan of the ML. Man's aggressively nosy, oscillates between "y u no marry my cousin" and making lovey dovey eyes at the MC, then blames him for what he knows is an arranged marriage. Almost like the concept of an arranged marriage escapes him. Hmm.

Question on episode 16:
I think he's checking her feed to see if she's posted anything, but there's nothing so he can't go all snoopy mcsnooperson. However, might be wrong, whatever he tapped wasn't translated (or I missed it) so I'm curious too :)

his redeeming quality is not abandoning his child based on his parents advice. ..though they pass off that kid…
True. I'd say more than that, the fact that he probably passes him off as his younger brother because of his parents, not because that's what he's comfortable with. He made it clear that he doesn't consider him a mistake or something shameful.

I heard the books doesn’t have a HE?? Should I be scared 😟 but lowkey I still hate SHM he can eat dirt frfr
I don't think they're following the books very closely; it had an entirely different focus,

So..I don't think the redemption arc has even started. He doesn't love her yet, he's simply finally realizing - because it keeps smacking him in the face left and right - that she had real worth to him. And he's missing that.

Side note: the audacity of calling her out on going ahead with the divorce since she's going to be missing all these material assets and power behind his family's name, like she ever asked for any of it, lol. Delululand called, they want their mayor back.

On the other hand, I can't wait to see the "extenuating circumstances" of the ML. We know her background, her upbringing, her struggles, but I think we've just begun to scratch his in depth. We keep getting hints that he used to be more of a normal person, less of a walking, talking PSA for control freak issues.

LE: Forgot about the other delulu statement "Me and XY have always been equals in the marriage" or some such. Brother, you ok? Equals where, how?

ummm, they are both toxic! I'm on episode 12 and FL's been the manipulative one this whole time! She schemed so…
For me personally the difference comes from motivation. What motivates her vs what motivates him. She lies because of love, because otherwise she feels she'd never have a shot at marrying the man she fell in love with and being accepted by his family. From there, the lies cascade and take on a life of their own.

Whereas his motivations are..needing a buffer/helper/tool he can wield when he needs to. Needs a buffer between him and his family, someone to take care of them, of the kid, help him in his business..and someone who's both accepting and easy to manipulate subtly.

There's also her wanting to come clean and him not allowing her to, basically. Because he knows that once she does, the jig is up.

This is why I favor her deception over his, I guess. But the beauty is that we can all like different things so yeah. Show's highly enjoyable so far!

LE: Although I agree that it's easier to empathize with her because we only see her POV, we see she genuinely cares for him and wants that relationship, whereas we're unsure what feelings - if any - the ML has.

he clocked onto her when she first started appearing at his agave shop and he already had her investigated.
Oh, I think it's quite clear why he married her.
He obviously finds something about her attractive, besides her appearance, but ultimately she's ..his tool right now. She deals with his family and gets them off his back, she deals with the kid, she helps him in his business.

And he treats her as such. Everytime she does something "right" or that benefits him, he gives her a reward, one more lavish than the other. Very transactional, very..how to train your pet 101.

Feels like he keeps testing her as it were. Always offering to help in her career with his influence, power, money, etc. I feel like he's just waiting for her to take the bait and prove to him that she is a gold digger or a social climber using him.

But that's just my interpretation so far.

Right! Everytime for the 1st episode whenever he does something for fl, he gives off a very weird vibe. Like really.
He treats her like a dog lol. In that whenever she does something "right", he gives her a little "treat". Only for rich people like him, little treats are sports cars and diamond necklaces.

The ML's character gives me the heebie jeebies every time he's thoughtful and attentive, which just means the actor's doing a fantastic job. I'm so looking forward to how he will change post divorce.

Probably because she doesn't know the extent of his investigation and as for him..he might be under the impression that her motives for marrying him aren't as pure as "love".

Lmao at the ending of that. "Electric chair" has the same vibe as "off with their heads", love it.

Title Shine (Orchestric Ver.) Spoiler
I agree. In my opinion, he sees Victor as Claire's echo, the one he didn't save because of his inaction. I think…
I have a sneaking suspicion we're to believe that Trin just didn't take it that seriously. I think the reality of Victor's feelings sunk in when they were hunkering down hiding after the protest. Such an intense moment, emotions flying high and Victor's first instinct was to seek comfort from his savior, as it were. After Victor's two kiss attempts, you can see Trin is genuinely uncomfortable, much more than he was with an almost naked Victor in front of him.

Not to mention, with the way the episode ended, we might get a much more clear rejection soon.

Oh, I loved both While You Were Sleeping and Light On Me so much! Though I must say..poor Jung Hae In :D

Krailert and Naran are really pulling focus for me, I have to say. Their argument during the protest scene is…
I agree. In my opinion, he sees Victor as Claire's echo, the one he didn't save because of his inaction. I think Claire was her name, yes?
Viewed through that, it's very easy to understand why he goes to the lengths that he does to protect him at times and why he cares so much. Plus, he's a good guy doing good deeds.

Not to mention, I believe he sees him as far too young to even entertain the idea of anything romantic, as evidenced by the fact that he's always guiding Victor, teaching him, taking his professor person far outside the classroom.

On the other hand, it’s clear to see why Victor is so infatuated. He’s a young adult with strong convictions, and here’s this older figure—an actual adult with authority—not only because Trin is his professor, but also because Trin holds expertise in the very issues that matter most to Victor, and he's giving him the time of day. Willing to hear him out, engage and debate him. Cherry on top? While their methods differ, their goals are aligned.

As for Tanwa, I’m not yet convinced about why they’re drawn to each other beyond physical attraction and Trin being charmed by Tanwa’s carefree nature. And that’s exactly why I love how the love triangle is written.

On paper, you’d expect the natural connection to be between Victor and Trin—they’ve spent the most time together, shared intense moments, hold similar beliefs, and challenge each other. Yet, none of the actual scenes support that. Trin only ever truly loosens up and relaxes around Tanwa

Title Kill to Love
Maybe this won’t land with everyone, but I don’t need them forgiven or fixed. For me, the story feels more…
Actually, the more I think about it, the more I think a perfect ending to this would be separation, understanding and acceptance. At least, in my opinion.
Understanding of their own behaviors, of their actions towards each other, of how it was all borne out of love and accepting that love can't bridge nor can it cover the massive gap and deep wounds left behind.

Although I don't think we're getting exactly the ending we're hoping for, that you outlined above, I am so with you on this.
I think it would be a disservice to the show so far if we got a clean or a happy ending. Too much has happened, they've hurt each other much too deeply, love become obsession become selfishness. And sometimes it's okay to love, but not forgive.

I only have two questions so far:
1. Why we keeping that fridge door open for a whole ass conversation?
2. Are those limes in a bottle? How? More importantly, why?

So far, pretty fun.

Let's just say the jump from ritualistic sacrifice and cut throats to slapstick humor is...something, alright.
Also, Punn must be the most understanding human being in existence, not to mention patient and just all around super chill. My guy doesn't bat an eye at vampires, blood baths, attempts on his life, murder or anything, really. Well, no, he does get flustered by kisses lol.

I'm here for Boun and Prem though and that gorgeous antique shop that Punn lives in. Hopefully they leave the hotel behind and get back to it. That parquet, amirite?

we are in a time loop = spoiler theory to follow
Bootstrap paradox for sure.
She goes back because of the book and the book comes to exist in the form she knows it in because she goes back.
I'm also assuming it's the same for the recipes and food she cooks for him. She cooks him certain dishes because she knows from history that he was a big fan of them, but I'm willing to bet that he was a big fan of them because she went back and cooked them for him.
