I rewatched this recently (well, this past fall) after a certain drama >.> had left me extremely bitter & annoyed, as this was one I remembered ~fondly & I had been reminded of it while I'd watched that one. MLP was just as cuute as ever! The adorkable trio really does get a perfect ending too.
Highly recommended if you want a break from immature "triangles", try this rare #OT3 instead ;P
I'm on ep 5 and struggling to continue and considering I've been drooling over the Reaper to get to…
Speaking as someone who never knew LDW before this & has been frustrated by the cliché plot from the beginning.. every single moment is worth watching, especially when LDW is onscreen.. but then, I'm also someone who's still tuning into ~Supernatural.. xD (aka a series I long ago gave up on caring about re: its wonky writing, lol cuz.. J2Misha!)
I really loved this drama at first. Everything about it was perfect: the soundtracks, the actors, the filming,…
About the ring: WY had sent various jewellery as gifts to her, yet also kept his distance emotionally. Thus she felt he didn't really care about her, & refused to wear them. She didn't realize his distance was partially to protect her from the adviser.. (never lets her drink the "tonic", etc) & yet he was still so blinded by his trust in that "father-figure", that he continued to ignore her pleas to remove him from power completely.
That fateful day, he randomly searches her trunk for one of said gifts, hurt that she kept them put away, & forces that ring on her as a symbol of everything btwn them.
DH: His times possessed were just random too, only when the deity felt like interfering directly, or apparently even just chilling in a club. Mostly, DH really is just a loyal young boy who loves his family- & having a credit card! While the deity took advantage of his "background character" status to pull strings to purposely influence certain events.
There's something that is reaaally bothering me. Park Joong Wo (or whatever, the bad guy), when did he exactly…
@mrschoeyeong - in ep01 or 02, & his servant has been praying over his deathbed for years & is getting elderly, then when KS goes to the palace, the adviser is also aged up..
Am I the only one FURIOUS that the writing let that azzbutt of an adviser get away scot-free for a whole freaking ~millennium while our manipulated king & his loyal general suffered all alone the entire time?? Where's GHOST RIDER when you need him?? Ughh!! >.<
Feel like also only one who finds everything else totally predictable, mostly in disappointing & cliche ways, lol but the cuuteness of the actors kinda really makes up for it.. aahh, & especially the vidding potential.. hope there's lots of good AUs inspired by this great cast! ♡_♡
Is this real? Or is this just fantasy? ~~~ Lol. What I'm trying to say is, this doesn't have a love…
I'd also recommend for next-to-zero triangle issues: Dalja's Spring (just briefly teases, but ends up with a strong second couple), Witch's Romance, Coffee Prince, HoGu's Love.. ^-^
Not many things have bugged me so far about Goblin (biased or not lol) but a particular scene in ep. 11 made no…
I agree, she shd've at least summoned KS ~first, but all she did was make sure the lighter was ~functional LOL "just in case" (before entering the building).. tsk ;P
I hate that the grim reaper is that stupid useless king. I was hoping he was also some kind of hero who killed…
Except he was a ~child victim, & where is the logic in victim-blaming?
One who has been brainwashed since ~birth has no way of breaking free of that kind of manipulation all on their own. He was isolated & barely allowed to speak to anyone else. He had no "power" of his own either, it was all an illusion; the adviser was the one who really controlled everything. That's why the adviser kept Shin away, & plotted for his death; he knew that KS was suspicious of the truth. WY was choosing what he had been ~taught was "right" for the kingdom as a whole. Sure, ~we kno it was wrong, but he did not, at least not in his young & brainwashed state. He had no other influences in his life, no examples of goodness, kindness, loyalty, true sacrifice, & ZERO friendship! His sole mentor probably even made sure he only read harsh stories to further his cold mindset as well.. ;( I just wish KS had been able to save him from that predator.. >.<

Only redeemable if skips the angst, for #OT3..
but I'm rarely ever ~that lucky, haha.. siigh. >.>

I too, briefly thought of the fic possibilities after they revealed that tidbit, hehehe.. ;P
