I disagree, and I think the show will definitely get a lot darker in upcoming episodes, first 2 episodes build up the storyline...

well, it's not like they must include everything, but yeah, maybe in season 3 (which is possible), and maybe it will happen in season 2, who knows

it might be a "sketchy one" without insurance and they knew the culprit also, there are nursing homes like this where they neglect the patients - so I don't think this is a weak plot

they surely knew it would happen and likely don't care - popularity doesn't equal quality at all, also... Flower Of Evil had bad rating/viewership, and yet it's one of the most acclaimed and one of the best dramas to date.

Some are just obsessed with plot twists, even if it doesn't make sense. This is really clever and I have high hopes for the final episodes.
