In real life is Knock dating that girl
I don't really think so... any evidence aside from that fishy instagram post?

It's the first part for the actor playing the doctor *O* How impressive!! I wonder how old the characters…
I think their characters are already in their 20's since they're in uni and have gone through a year since the time that love scene happened was during their summer vacation.

I like Korn and Knock in this prequel more than in Bad Romance. Their chemistry is through the roof. And I like Korn here. I like to see more of jealous Knock though. That means, I want to see more Korn-Mew interactions. I find Knock and Pleng's interactions a bit cringey knowing that I already know Korn and Knock would end up together. But the presence of Mew, somehow, brings more twist and mystery, especially to Korn's character. I want to know when did his relationship with Mew happen and how did he manage to hide it from his friends, especially to Yihwa, his best friend.

I thought it was a very tender series !! Phana and Wayo look good together, but, there is some chemistry missing,…
I agree with you about Phana and Wayo's lack of chemistry. I think they can do better in the next season. I initially fell for the series since its first airing but watching the rest of the episodes, I felt like Phana and Wayo's characters need further development acting-wise. I could feel the romance there but there was this lack of chemistry.

Ming and Kit, however, were fun to watch.

Honestly, that legendary Apo and Waii kissed has made the series better. I would have ditched it but watching that part made me see the series in a different light. I just don't like the manipulative aspects of the straight characters. But it doesn't mean that Waii isn't. It's just that his fear made him very vulnerable, making him manipulative to the point that I initially hated him for toying with Apo's emotion.

What I am also happy is that the actors playing Waii and Apo have better chemistry off-cam and post-series. I would have thought that they could be very great-looking couple.

Story is predictable but I am looking forward to any twist. I love the first episode. That's what we should see in gay couples drama series. Not really too much on sex (I want more but balanced and not pornish) and more on passion. They are at least awakened to the idea that male to male relationship is about passion and completely different to any perceived relationship as if they're planning to become a monk. LOL

It's a bummer to learn that 2 Moons producer who is gay is discrimanatory in choosing the actors to play…
The producer scouted for "straight actors". I don't know the name of the producer, maybe we can find it after doing a bit of research. Also, as for being straight actors, perhaps, the category of straight-acting gay actors(despite being closeted) was also in his criteria.

It's a bummer to learn that 2 Moons producer who is gay is discrimanatory in choosing the actors to play the main roles. From this article: https://www.pressreader.com/thailand/bangkok-post/20170227/282308204879493, he chose only the "straight actors". I think I have read a comment here about NewYear not being included in the cast because he is gay.

I have come to love the series though just watching the first 2 episodes. But I have decided to become a critic now. Liking the characters but have to be smart in finding the flaws.

Title Bad Romance
Being around 2 gay couples who happen to be my best friends/closest friends and who have these fire-water relationship, I'd say that the BL romantic storyline is not really far from reality. Even though I am a (straight-acting) gay male, I think my role in my best friends' relationships is like Yihwa. LOL.

Overall, Bad Romance BL storyline is great. I give it 9/10 but the whole series is 7/10. I got a little obsessed with KornKnock storyline, that I totally ship them. It's very refreshing to see masculine-acting gay couple in a Thai series. I am not a Thai but I am loving the KornKnock love story. I hope they get the same recognition and international acclaim similar to SOTUS when the Together With Me series airs. I definitely have to wait for the Eng-subbed versions of it.

Here's hoping Max and Tul are real-life gay couple. It totally spoils the fun in following gay couples who said in interviews that they are straight and have GF when their personality and sense of style are in contradiction to what they've relayed. I've been in PR/media to know which actors are really gay or not. I'm looking at you SOTUS. lol.

Loving the characters though they seem to be badass sometimes. But they're entertaining and the series is promising.
