I feel like it didn’t make a lot of sense most of the time…. But idk i like seeing boys fall in love so its ok i guess. I do agree with one of the comments below that everything else was so good except for the writing/script. Visuals were great, acting was great, cinematography was great but the writing sometimes really didnt make sense 🥲
This is the saddest, most depressing drama I’ve ever watched. I dont quite know how to feel about it. Its definitely an EPIC in its depth and numerous arcs, but the ending got me slumped because it felt so rushed.
This was a bittersweet watch. Yes, Empress Ki won, but after everything that happened, after that ending, did she really? I know this is a historical recreation and the bulk of this probably did happen (like who died, who ruled, which kingdoms won which war, etc) but damn, would it kill someone if they gave her even just a slightly happy ending?
I feel sorry for all the main characters, and taltal deserved a better ending than that.
I honestly dont know what to feel. Like, at times i enjoyed it but there were times where I felt so lost. There were too many side quests and it took so long to get to the point of it in relation to the main problem. And once we got to the issue they had to face I felt like it plateaued from there. And it got so confusing and rushed by the last few episodes. I felt this had so much potential because the chemistry between the cast was so good.

Hellooo!!! Sorry I was on an internet hiatus for 2 weeks or so but I did finish watching it!!! And I have to say it was a great and satisfying watch! Not a full on makjang but dramatic enough to hate the villains and cheer for the good guys and all the allies.
seriously though the plot is nothing new but the show overall is JUST. SO. GOOD.
chemistry between the leads is great, and the graphics every time someone eats something good is HILARIOUS. I love this so much, and I find it so funny that Ji young is literally exposing herself as someone from the future and nobody believes her bcuz c'mon lets be real if someone comes up to me one day claiming that they're from the future I wouldn't believe them either.
gotta say though, the cooking competition plot need not be stretched to what, 3, 4 episodes? seems disconnected to the main plot but I hope they tie it off well enough. So far though, everything is great and I'm looking forward to every episode!!!! <3
so happy she signed with a new agency !!! Definitely looking forward for her next projects! <3 her previous works were so good, she just unfortunately got involved with the wrong people. I hope she comes back strong and with a bang!
So much loose ends, confusing writing and unnecessary scenes. enjoyed some of the parts and plot, and it REALLY could have been an amazing watch if only the script and the conversations were well done. I just feel like there could have been more, you know?
