I was soooo looking forward to SJK and KJW reprising their roles, but I guess it's not meant to be 😢

Ah yes, C-dramas are big on fantasy since they have xianxia and they do it WELL. Aesthetics are always so beautiful and on point.

I hope dramaland gets to make more shows like AoS and Arthdal. Basically making a whole universe out of their imaginations, it's so interesting! I hope the Action/Fantasy genre gets to flourish a lot more.

Wow this was so confusing for me. The last two episodes, definitely. It turned to a Paranormal Thriller, then by the 2nd half of the last ep the leads had a total 360 change, the 2nd FML is irredeemable IMO, and there was no closure between the main couple, coworkers and the supporting couple. The first few eps were good and leading up to the relationship was actually adorable, but the last 2 eps were just part of a different drama.

ughhh the first half was tolerable but the 2nd half was just TERRIBLE. I fast forwarded through most of it, and just read recaps of the last 6 episodes but i still think of it as an enormous waste of time 😭 that's a few hours of my life that i'm not getting back

This is a revenge drama, first and foremost, and it succeeded in being a revenge drama. I didn't chose to watch and enjoy this for the comedy, I watched it for the satisfying revenge plot. Obviously there are comedy scenes, but judging this drama as a "comedy" wouldn't seem right (as what some reviews have done) as they didn't make it the first priority so there are bound to be some hits and misses.

sure there are comedic scenes, but I don't think this drama banks on being a "Comedy" drama. I believe it was mostly advertised as a revenge drama, and it flourished as that by all aspects.

This makes me want a Sung Kyung x Ha Joon drama T-T

This isn't a comedy drama, and it's not a romance drama as well so if that's what you're expecting then you should look elsewhere for something to watch. However if you're looking for a revenge drama where the lead doesn't go all righteous or stops killing people, this is a good watch. He was introduced as a mafia in the beginning, and the show ended with him being a mafia. He didn't vow to change who he is in the name of love, or all that shiz. NGL, I had a hard time getting through the first 3 episodes, but things got interesting by ep 4. The pattern of the episodes became evident by that point - have something negative happen in the middle of the ep, and then a positive cliffhanger at the end which gives you satisfaction. Plus the cast had good chemistry with each other (protagonists, antagonists, supporting) which worked in their favor. Although there were some parts I skipped and I watched it in 1.5x speed (lol, im impatient), I'm glad I watched it and persisted despite the reviews, honestly. It was a fun and exciting watch.

I saved this drama for a time when I'm not busy so I can focus on it since there are a lot of reviews/comments that say it's an amazing drama, but I'm on ep 5 and I'm finding it so hard to continue watching 😭At what ep will it get better???
