I don't understand. If you did not like it, why are you rating it at 7.5/10?

I have no problem with angsty romances, I just think that young cadets/cops fighting police corruption is not fun to watch, getting abused for 3 episodes in the most unreasonable ways is the same.

I agree with simple stories working for romcoms, complexity is not the problem here.
The first 3 episodes are 70% abuse, this is supposed to be a romcom, so that sure feels out of place to say the least and right now it seems like the main plot will be about police corruption, MY FAV TOPIC in a romcom.

For now, but the story kind of writes itself until the next big crisis.

Not saying it's NOT the writer, but maybe the actors, the cinematographer & the director have something to do with it as well.

I expected normies to enjoy it too. I found it quite ridiculous, having worked at a weather station myself and all .. (everything is over-dramatized & many things are completely wrong, but a lot of effort & research went into it nonetheless)

The romance is good and the eight main characters and their interactions are interesting as well. As for the rest it's not great, but it's been slowly getting better.

That's totally possible, but good God, if that's it and he is married with his own kids, I'll give this a 3/10 rating, I pinky swear. I'll curse the writer too, but only on MDL, just to keep it civil.

"Break into the school at night" scenes cannot be broadcast on national TV without the guard showing up eventually. So there was never a danger of that happening.

I did not like episode 5 and the teaser is even worse.

In the olden days a romcom rated in the 6-7 range on imdb was pretty good. Things have changed since 2017, but the ratings of the older titles are obviously not adjusted. (imdb is now a very dubious platform, the ratings are often faked, almost everything new is rated higher than they should be)

Secretery Kim's article would be pretty boring, since the webtoon is almost the same, the differences are almost all related to product placements.
As for Dinner Mate, yeah that could be interesting, but only because the drama is mediocre, but the webtoon is not.

In dramas I prefer death over permanent breakups, but that's just me.
