Hidden gems are no good, writers and producers wouldn't be encouraged to make similar dramas in the future.
There is typically no such thing for Asian dramas. The sponsors want their return of investment right away. Dramas don't get made without sponsorships, dramas that are very similar to failed "sleeper" hits won't get sponsorships.

To me it's blatantly obvious that no European speaks with that "Korean English teacher" accent. It's actually quite logical, since they only care about Korean audiences, it makes total sense to improve the engagement factor this way. (The viewers will feel good about not needing to read the subtitles)

I think it's too early to tell. The manhwa has some acceptable love triangles, but if they focus on those ( and make them more makjang-ish) instead of the "real" plot it could be pretty bad to compress 100 chapters into 12 episodes that way. Some of the changes they've made to Min Woo's plot indicate that being a strong possibility.

If you know what to do & don't panic, then it's easy to open the door underwater, but most people would probably die in this situation. This would be one the least silly plotholes in the drama. It depends on the car model as well I suppose.
