Well, that whole Africa thing in the first episode was very embarrassing, not to mention racist and deeply cringe. I wish kdrama writers would educate themselves if they want to continue to show their dramas to international audiences. You can't keep being this ignorant.
Because girlie never had a real happiness in her whole life until she met Gwiju. Gwiju's hell started only 7 years…
I swear, actors ages should be kept from the public, because then we get takes like this, purely because they know the woman is older, and seem to have some sort of complex about it!
This show was so well crafted, very little fat, all perfectly balanced. And it was so fun to come here after every episode to check out everybody's comments. Everybody was generally so nice and enthusiastic about the show! By far the nicest comment section for a drama in the 23/24 season 🤣
So happy that our loser boy and our sunshine girl are happy for ever and ever! 😭
Called it! I knew Sunjae would regain his memories from all Sol's timeline resets. I love it when foreshadowing is done correctly!
Anticipating good twists that make sense in a story is not bad writing or boring, it means the buildup was there from the start and the clues line up with the events and it all makes sense.
A lot of drama writers (and show writers in general) nowadays seem to believe that story plotting and having it make sense is lame and prefer to twist the narrative to give us surprise and baffling turns.
But you don't need any of that when you have a well crafted story, and it's certainly not boring, just look at Lovely Runner and how everyone is hooked!
How will he have memories of something he never lived? 😔
It's really not, it's more like various timeliness theory.
Each thing sol changes creates a new future, and she remembers both the before and after that change, which tells us that it's more a kind of rewinding and do over.
So, technically, everybody in the universe is also rewinding and living over those original and changed timelines.
Now, sol is the only one who seems to be aware, but we've had indication that her grandma can also remember the changes in reality, which opens the door for other characters also being able to remember, we just haven't been shown the trigger for that yet, but I'm sure it will happen for sunjae.
It's a dramatic device, really, not a plothole.
The whole several timelines that overlap with characters becoming aware is also a plot device in the shows Russian Doll and Westworld (kinda).
I hope you know that emoji means something else in korea 😆 (and that men hate it lmao)
Yep 🤣 I'm just putting it out there for the people that don't know and are on twitter, since this show is korean and they're talking about the male main character! 🤣 🤣

Well, in korea that is a gesture feminists and other women use to mock korean misogynistic men, implying that their "thing" is tiny.
It's caused some pretty big dust ups there, as men online have gone after female celebrities that they said did that gesture as a feminist message against men and all that.
I keep seeing this emoji all over international lovely runner twitter about sunjae and kinda cringe ahaha
The problem with noble idiocy is that it takes the free will of the person you are acting it. when you're in a…
Your user name reminded me of the same kinda of plot point from Angel and Buffy, in AtS episode I Will Remember You. The timeline is reset and only Angel remembers his time there with Buffy 💔
In spite of everything else… I’m looking forward to seeing modern Sun Jae try to chase and court Im Sol because…
I so want the story to give us a merging of the timeliness where he remembers how he loved her in every timeline and all the loser boy things he did for her ❤️

I'm willing to suspend my disbelief a little bit and let the scene look a bit goofy if it was in the interest of filming it as safely as possible.
I'm glad someone else notices the resemblance.
Feels like this writer is a fushigi yuugi fan haha
