for ep 13 idk if this is a plothole but how can she just pick what time she travel to, and doesn't the watch only…
We didn't see her come back, we only saw her a while after she was back. I'm guessing we'll get her return and the in-between and also the deal with the watch on his wrist in the next episode!
am I the only one who thinks about true beauty when I watch Lovely Runner?
I think ep 10 is the one that leans most heavily on TB. That fight scene and vying for the mom's good graces was straight up Suho and Seojun at Jukyoung's house making mandu and sliding down the stairs fighting.
Maybe because dementia can mess up your sense of time that the fantasy premise is that she can somehow experience…
Exactly. It's a common trope, the "crazy" person or the person that everyone thinks is out of their mind can actually see the unseen/magic in the universe of the story.
I think it's the first time they're using international age in a drama! Sunjae and Sol were born in 1990 and in the present timeline they're 34! Took me by surprise!
Also, love that she's 34 and there's no-one nagging her to get married and have kids, like in other romantic dramas with female characters over 30.
In the source novel, the "present" timeline was 5 years or so after the "return-to-the-past" highschool timeline.…
I love that, it's very true, we believe he waited all these years for her, because of the personality the drama is sketching out for him.
I actually like that he's 34 here!
A 24 year old seems like someone very young, I mean, the frontal lobe isn't even fully developed yet! So someone so young committing to a great love so soon would seem a bit early (though it could happen, of course, but given his job and level of fame...).
Whereas someone over 30 is more mature and sure of himself, he also has had plenty of time and experience in that glamorous world, surrounded by beautiful women (like his BFF said) being praised and chased and having people throw themselves at him too, that he knows what he wants, and knows the kind of relationship and love he really wants.
Plus, he'd be more established in his career, so he'd probably be able to date/marry Sol without it all come crashing down on him!
i just love dramas like this so much no wonder extraordinary you is my all time fav also with her as the female…
Extraordinary You is soo good!! The layers of that plot, it's so well crafted. On the surface it's a cute high-school drama with pretty characters, but just underneath it's a whole treatise on the concept of free will and destiny. I feel it's so underrated around here.

In the webtoon she dates seojun for a while before suho appears again.

Pure fantasy. We'll take it though!
