The cinematography in Atelier Kiss was striking…. The shot of him sitting there, posing, eyes locked onto his teacher.. and oh my, what a beautiful boy. I think I fell in love.
I was SO utterly engrossed in that changing room scene. Had me kicking my feet…. covering my face with the blanket. I expect nothing more from P’Aof. Props to Gmmtv and their powerhouse of queer directors. Shit keeps getting better and better!!!!!!!!!! Making the term “BL” more than a stereotypical genre.
I've read the manga (the only reason I read the manga is because the mangaka is also the author of Hidamari ga Kikoeru/I Hear the Sunspot, and I trust her with my life!). The manga is beautiful, poignant, and flat-out depressing (as is any story done with respect surrounding "forbidden love"). Discovering there's a drama adapation of it feels surreal! I just hope it upholds the loveliness of the manga.
I didn't watch this because I, unlike most, genuinely enjoyed the first season. I was upset this wasn't a continuation. I randomly decided to give it a go because of a clip I saw by chance... and I wish I had done it sooner. This show isn't just gay, this is QUEER. This is some queer shit. Plus, the connections between all of the characters.. if not for everyone interacting with one another, none of them would have gotten together in the end. I love the butterfly effect.
And the amount of times I saw the boom mic in the top of the shot? I was laughing my ass off.
I mean, Kento has been casted in plenty of other manga adaptations, not surprised he was cast in this one 🤷🏻♀️.
I understood your comment. I didn’t even know Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure (I don’t particularly care for it) had an anime adaptation. When I think of Kento Yamazaki in terms of him acting in manga-to-drama adaptions, I think of shoujo romance.
Golden Kamuy is very special to me. To me, it’s a masterpiece of storytelling. If it ends up being mediocre I might just cry lol. (This is excluding Kento, I’m just speaking in general).

Yes, but none of them were Golden Kamuy. Golden Kamuy is entirely its own eccentric self. I just didn’t expect Kento haha. Neverthless, I hope he does well.
I decided to watch this after a night of watching random Power Rangers clips with my friends in my car. Never in my life did I think I would become engrossed in a tokusatu drama….. this is great.
ALSO THE DUDE WHO PLAYS DYNAMITE IS SEVENTEEEEENNN???????
LMFAOOOOO😭😭😭

All in all, a good show!
