That episode preview really wanted to keep us on our toes… but by the way Yoh leans up to kiss Mizuki first, I think everything will turn out… alright.
This show is so… so, so very beloved to me. Maybe it’s special to me because it’s been with me through thick and thin.
It’s repetitive, the plot is whack as hell, but somewhere along the line, it turned into comfort. Despite all of your flaws, someone will love you. Through it all, someone will love you. There is someone beside you, even when you don’t know it. Shin is the embodiment of love, perfectly flawed. Minato is, of course, a fool. But I forgive his foolishness. What we cannot agree for ourselves we turn into punishment.
I am going to miss them. And I would give anything to hear their bickering for another season (maybe another absurd plot line that barely makes sense!), despite the fact most of you hated it.
Thank you to this show. It has helped me more than I know.
To that person in this comment section who said this show reminded them of Natsume Yuujinchou... you were the one who propelled me to watch this. The final episode feels like saying goodbye to a friend. The casual goodbye, that had been declared a hundred times before, except this time is the last. Thank you, to the person, who made me watch this show. A million times over, thank you.
I see more anti Dunk comments than anything, Rarely anti Joke. He's no Lom in Wedding Plan
I would say watching someone you like (or just a friend in general) eat the same exact thing for weeks on end... you'll prompt them to try something else (out of worry, or just wondering how they're solely consuming peanut butter and jelly). Like going to an expensive restaurant and your friend still orders chicken tenders. I felt like that scene was absurdly placed, because of how real it felt (as most of the show is blatantly stereotypical and plain). I think I've been in that exact situation (down to other people awkwardly watching), and been on both sides of the argument. I like Joke because he's not perfect... he's an asshole when he forgets to put his mask on lol. Nothing wrong with a character being slightly shitty (and doing things with an ulterior motive), like most real people.
Also, I love Joke. One of my favorite characters of the year (not being ironic). Justice for him and this comment section that hates his guts. Joke I will save u
This is a very turn-your-brain-off show. Like a Wattpad story from 2015 (we even have a random crazy ass plotline, because they ran out other things!). And I love it. Not much of anything, but maybe (just maybe), that’s the point.
