Smarter folks than me should jump in and explain, but the comments are peppered with references to the cinematography based visual differences between the "real" couple's scenes and the BL couple's scenes. Imma rewatch and think about that.
And let me add my voice to the chorus of people asking for Ollie's song, Tiger in My Love, to be released on popular streaming services! BLs make me crazy when they don't release music in the series for (easy) mass consumption!
Other tracks I'm fiending for:
Wrong Number-- Dizzy Night (the series is ok, but this song is a total earworm; was on YT but taken down)
Thundercloud Rainstorm (series version)-- On My Way by RiCreator (available on YouTube and Amazon but not exactly the same) It's Over by Solven (club version on Amazon but series verion is slower) Trusted You (only found a weird death metal version)
Love Like A Bike-- Song in NC scene in episode 2 that I cannot find anywhere! No title; no band name. Nothing!
Asia is not America or Europe. You might see Taiwan and Thailand are gay friendly on social media but the reality…
Well that definitely sucks. It's not an alternative lifestyle, it's just normal. I grew up in some backwater town with more churches than bars and we still weren't this conservative. I am deeply grateful for that.
I felt a little bad for her too except that when it's over its over. The other gf was right that you shouldn't twist yourself into knots over unrequited love.
Dammit! The wrap up was too fast! I loved every single other thing about this show. I am now obsessed with Ollie's voice, too! And watch to the very end folks! You want what's after the credits.
ok, so ep 8 is far and away my fave! so many things!
the forced makeout scene is hilarious. Like why is this a problem? dude has a gun and presumably a little kissing between colleagues will prevent it from going off. cool. not that big of a deal. I mean, come on, 3 of you (one with a gun) didnt overtake him so just play along without feeding his kink and sort it out later.
The press. Peak comedy. So no one was worried when the guy got shot? No one? And nothing to see here was sufficient to make them leave? These must be the dancers from the club, who also didnt respond to the jackassery going on.
The kiss after Minho shoots Hyoekjae is amazing. Full disclosure, I'm that bitch who can envision a scene where they make out after one of them shoots the other and its hot af. (We all got a dark side...) This wasnt that scene. And maybe slap him with the arm that isnt housing a bullet?
Why is Sohyeon in the hospital? And where's Hyoekjae? An arrest warrant? Why arent they all on admin leave pending investigation after this "training" incident? I have so many questions! I'm sure they'll all be answered next episode.
yes, phatsa is supposed to be the strongest type of omega that can surpass alphas - why is he so whiny here ?!
My favorite brat is Yoh in My Personal Weatherman. That said Boss/Noeul killed it in LITA! I wouldn't be mad about a battle to establish whos dom v sub in The Knot, which I kinda think is playing out already.
The slaps that sound like punches, though. What!? And I assume its the face card that makes everyone unable to overtake Kwon Hyoek Jae. There's really no other explanation.

Yes! Step into your power, Phatsa! And sometimes he does, so I wish they'd stop going back and forth. Also, brat tamer is a thing. I feel like Thai BL in particular likes to lightly explore this without naming it, although LITA and My Stubborn lean into it pretty hard.
I don't want this to be a brat tamer situation like My Stubborn (which I loved there) so I hope they stop making Phatsa such a whiner. And maybe just tell people where you are going and they'd be less suspicious?
There were a few comedic moments that I really enjoyed in isolation but didnt understand in context.
And the NC scenes make sense as a representation of their relationship progression. This one was more romantic than feral.
also, let's get to couples 2, 3, and 4 please!
I'm still not over the moon, but I felt like this was a better episode.
