That book was written by Matilda/Michiru (indicates that she is still alive). The character on the cover is illustration of her late daughter (as explained in Ep. 10). The author's name on the cover of the book is = マティー (Matii) is from Matilda ^^

MDL is not wrong, because they set the date according to the broadcast date on Japanese TV (starts on April 17, every Friday at 10 PM JST), not according to the Netflix international release.

That's because someone suddenly changed the number of episodes to 9 eps (Idk the reason too). Then when Ep. 9 finished airing and it was confirmed that the drama would have 10 episodes in total, I edited it back to 10 episodes.
