To be honest kbl is worst as why making bl if you are showing brother love in kbl they mostly don't have chemistry…
Maybe you haven't watched many KBLs, but if you haven't, you should give them a try. Regarding the "brotherly love" theme you mentioned, I've only seen these kind of love story like ; adopted and stepbrothers in Taiwanese BLs. Personally, I think KBLs are very good plus their chemistries are on the fire 🔥. Well, everyone has their own choices......
