about to start this but i need someone to reassure me that the chemistry is there. because the female lead and…
Fight for love is something different from the other cdramas I've seen this year. Not in a bad way. I did shed tears in those beginning episodes but also, I'm highly amused. Something to note is that this is not an enemy to lovers or friends to lovers. You can't just define it like that. I can't speak on chemistry as there is no relationship yet butttt the tension is there for me. The actors both main and side have done a great job.
I regret starting to watch this with only 7 episodes out but it so good and I can't wait for more. Wei Yun and Chu Yu aren't mismatched; they are perfect characters for the life they have been dealt. I can see their future relationship being strong as both have lost their worlds. On the plus side I love a woman who can save and protect even without drawing her sword. Wei Yun needs some more growth but there is over 30 episodes to do it so no rush.
I genuinely understand Mei Zhuyu. Wu Zhen provided him with a decision that was difficult to choose between. Like she wasn't already questioning to become full demon and leaving him. I'm not calling her out, but her actions are a tad bit hypocritical. They love each other and I do think that both the heads of Changxi palace and the demon underworld could do well working together to eradicate evil. I don't want them to separate with how long it took for them to be together. I don't know if Mei Zhuyu will take the position as leader since he really isn't a disciple anymore, but I can't see anyone else leading and Changxi palace should join the mystical bureau. I wonder if they'll take that route. I know Zhuyu isn't going to give up on their relationship, but XiaoZhen needs to gather her thoughts and decide what's best for both her and the demon underworld. I've really enjoyed episodes 28 and 29.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I thought Mumu was a safe friend for Qingyu!! Like strictly platonic friends with Ming Sheng,…
Honestly, It'd be quite abnormal if mumu didn't have feelings for Ming sheng. He is literally such an awesome friend. She has been around him for a while. You can't tell me you wouldn't fall for someone like that (I would ngl)
Those are just a few of my favorites. Maybe you can take a look at the list again for fun and maybe add a few to your watchlist. If you want to. I just want more people to see that there are more dramas outside the popular ones and many of those are beginner friendly and all have english subs to enjoy on various platforms. Happy watching!
Ah so sorry if the dramas I used weren't as popular. Do you have any recommendations of dramas in that genre?
I realized that myself a couple years ago that not many mystery/medical/police dramas get the same quality of subbing which is quite sad for avid watchers who don't speak chinese. Sell your haunted house is definitely added to my watched list as well. It is very long though ðŸ˜

I just added tell me what you saw to my list. My type of mystery dramas are like Healer, He is Psychometric, The devil judge, you're all surrounded, memorist, home school, and bloody monday. From that list I just realized I don't watch any chinese drama's that focus on mystery that isn't historical.

That's part of the reason I made the quiz. I wanted to give a chance to some underrated dramas to shine, and I will continue to make more games. Faith is my favorite dramas for lee minho so I couldn't leave it out tbh. It's okay to be a minority. I will look further into the dramas you listed. Maybe that would make my drama palate more refined.
I'm quite surprised at how uneven the responses are myself.
It's just saying that you like to watch a mixture and you are don't have a particular genre that captivates you. Which is what I meant by you could watch "simple" so like one note stories and also "High attention" dramas so those that contain multiple genres and/ or have some kind of meaningful story that you need to keep your eyes on. Not sure how else to explain it.
It also reminded me of Code Blue and do you think there should be a second season? It would be a fantasy for me…
There is a 1/100 chance that they will create another season considering the season ended on a good note but what i do know is that the characters felt real and id like to see more of them.
