Rough around the edges

I couldn’t stop giggling from the chemistry in the first 16 episodes. Those two, Gan Yang and Ding Zi Tong, are well matched. The story itself was lacking in parts but the actors and actresses did an astounding job with the script.

I've seen people complain about the misunderstandings but I think that the big misunderstanding that lead to the breakup was understandable compared to some other dramas I've seen.
Both characters had their own flaws but at the end of the day, they just wanted to protect the other. I'd say they acted like each others sheild but ended up as each others enemy.

I didn’t really care about the attempt at making up which was almost completely one-sided sadly. Their sad scenes weren't as good as their cute, lovey dovey scenes and then each of their big reveals to each other about everything that happened during and after that breakup was rushed and neither seemed to care rather than to be silent and "feel bad". I wanted some yearning and begging from both sides because they are both stupid😂

That being said this drama is more character driven than plot driven and the drama does a good job with that. Don't take the drama too serious and you won't be disappointed. Also people need to stop the comparison with lighter and princess to this drama. They are not the same even if they are the same genre. Good bye now👋

The rating is too low for this drama!!!

I just completed this drama. It was spectacular. Were there any plot twists? not really. Was it a wonderful drama? Hell yes.
I know nothing about the weather and need to state that at some points in the show i was very lost as to what was being said at first but it is just like the real world. I know nothing about predicting the weather and that being said i rarely watch the weather news but after this i think ill need to.
The concept of this drama is not particularly new. Sort of reminds me of MER or Code blue in the sense that SDM is a new organization and it is still in it's trial period.
I dont think there is a scene which was draggy. I felt emotion from each character in every instance.
I honestly think that this drama showed real world weather problems and also the humans who insure the safety of a country prone to natural disasters and work in the background.

I love that there was no "Villan" and there was no "dumb" characters. Most importantly there were no arguments between characters. Just a blunt man and his colleagues who will prioritize the safety of people during natural disasters using meteorology as a way to do so. I hope this gets renewed but even if it doesnt im happy that this drama was made.

Was it worth the 3 years of waiting ?

Weak hero class 2 really tried it's best to be on the same level of season 1 which was only a backstory but slightly failed in that light. This did not live up to the Part 1 I'm going to be honest. It stands well on its own and had its own story to tell. The actors did a great job. It's the story that failed. Now why did I rate this as an 7.5.

There was this charm exuded by each of the characters even the ones in the background. I could honestly see this doing better as a whole new drama than as a continuation. Might have been a 9 instead. The story was still compelling, and I binged it. Si eun, Go tak, Park hu-min and Jun tae had this friendship that came out of nowhere just like it is in real life. They all just wanted to protect one another. It was sweet. The fight scenes were also one of the best I've seen in any drama it was neither exaggerated nor over the top.
Now here is the con's or why it did a bad job in my opinion:
The depth of the main characters wasn't explored in a sense. This could be blamed on it only having 8 episodes I suppose but to do a poor job even exploring the main character (Si eun) what a shame. There was also lack of explanations for some of the actions made for each character. I don't expect every character to have astounding reasons for their actions but give me something to work with I'm begging. Then we saw in the beginning the fact that Si eun was taking sleeping pills but then the therapist or whoever was never shown again. What mental health issues did he deal with after the trauma in season 1. Then they brought back (forgot his name but the pushover who caused Su ho to end up in the hospital) to come to Si eun in a dream like state, what was the reason? I was not sentimental or surprised when I saw him, Alot of this just felt rushed and needed time to be a gem. I could rant about Baku being inconsiderate, we get it, he wanted to protect his father and his friends, but it made it hard for me to connect with him and see the strength of his love for them when he wouldn't even pick up the call from his friends. Go tak and Jun tae were the hidden heroes in this entire thing but didn't even get a backstory or even a visit to their homes. Was the budget so low that they could only film in 5 places. Then they revealed the backstory to Go tak, Jun tae and Baku off camera and all Jun tae had to say was that we know it's not your fault out of no where might I add. I'm ripping this season a new one because I'm hurt. I wanted to love this, I wanted to cry, I wanted to be angry at points, but I also didn't care because by the time something happened it was over.

I won't blame the writing but rather the short timing. This needed at least 4 more episodes so everything could have been fleshed out. Too many actions happened that in the end I'm not sure how to feel. I do love that Su ho appeared for a minute there. I do feel tortured that Baek Jin died even if it was realistic. (He may have been evil, but he was a stupid kid who was taken advantage by those Gang members.) He truly was a grey character full of complexities.

I'm glad I watched it before I saw any spoilers and I'm happy with this ending.

Not what i expected

I watched this drama about 2 hours ago so it is still freah in my memory. I also found out about it today and thought it would be a fun watch and i was so wrong. From the first 3 minutes of the first episode i knew this was gonna be a heavy, gruelling, realistic show that will be stuck in my memory for a long time. I am gonna break down my review into parts.

Plot: 10/10
At first i was a little distant because this was only 6 episode with less than an hour for each but when i started i swear it felt like 10 hours when it took me 3-4 hours. I can count on my fingers the amount of shows that did this to me. It wasn't dragged out in the slightest. Infact everything that needed to be said was said.So i am gonna move on

Actors/Cast: 100/10
This is what carried of the drama. Each actor either made me hate or love them. It was that simple. I dont know alot about any of these actors but imma need to do some research. I fell in love with everyone, everyone.

Music: 10/10
There want much of it infact i dont remember it clearly but for somd reason i had to give this 10/10. Music might have ruined this masterpiece of how tragic tge story was.

Overall:10000000/10
This drama didn't make me skip one second not even the bloody or fighting parts. I replayed those scences over and over. Loved the bromance 100%. I knew the last scence of this entire drama was gonna turn out like that but i really wished that jerk died. Oh well. I beg of you with light hearts dont watch this unless you thicken your skin because this is not a fairy tale. I shed tears at the end and i rarely cry over a show. Watch it when you can chill out and just relax. I watched this from 10:00pm to 1:00am. Finally finished crying so i could write this long ass review. So better thank me and watch it! Ill go now Adiós.

Nothing could prepare me for this!!!

I just finished watching this drama. Not even an hour has passed and im reliving all the episodes in my mind. The ML, the FL and the entire cast did an amazing job in this spectacular story.

This story really is just beautiful and though it isnt very "serious" it still shares some important messages about making mistakes and how change sometimes is and isnt possible.

I still cant get over how many cringy moments this drama had but i was still hooked.

The thing i loved most had to be how communication played a key role in this drama. Not a lot of miscommunication and NO breakups 💃🏽.

Just go ahead and start this drama, you wont regret it one bit, at least i didn't 🤗

Nothing Overboard but still sweet

Dramas such as this aren't really my scene. If you are here for the romance then please stay it did a good job with the love story and all the actors did amazing in the roles. Especially ML and FL.
On the otherhand if you want an actual plot that has something deeper then move along. This has the ability to put one into a slump but might get you out of it. It might also be great for a casual watch though you'll get bored as there is nothing happening.
Like i said chinese dramas like this are not my type but that being said i still binge watched it. I know i sound complicating but just look at some edits and decide if it's for you. Nothing will happen but a beautiful love story will blossom. I might say this drama is realistic with the fact love doesn't have to be dramatic.

Something to always remember

I am going to keep this short as possible even though that will be hard because there is so much i could say about this drama. NO SPOILERS included.

Wang yibo and Zanilla is one pair i never thought would look good on screen together but it was some good chemistry that i couldn't even realise the age difference. I came for both these actors but stayed for the characters. Wang yibo has never played a comedic role before but i swear when he started talking i couldnt help but laugh. And then we have Zanilla an actress that has been on our screens for years but never have i finished any of her dramas. No, not even princess agents. Why? Not because she isnt a good actress but because the storyline didnt attract me. With legend of fei i didn't skip any parts. It was never boring. So much so that i keep on rewatching without even realizing. I suggest those that havent hopped on this master piece to do so right now. This is my favour wuxia for 2021, then douluo continent, then WOH.

Now tu tu your way over to any site or even YouTube and devour this 5 star Michelin meal (only stays or those who listen to gods menu by stary kids understand)

Beautiful Highschool story

While looking for some kdramas to watch i came across this hidden gem. School 2013 is rarely in a top 10 list and i wonder why.
The story was beautiful not once did i see a filler in this drama. I do admit that in every other episode they wanted to kick someone out the school but i enjoyed those moments. Every character had a story, had a meaning, gave sense.
The casting itself is gold. Espically Lee jong suk and kim woo bin, they have talent. If anyone other actor was casted for there roles maybe u would not love it so much. The bromance was not overly done rarely ever seen until the end but if you are like me you know damn well that they both cared for each other even when they fought each other.
If you are having thoughts of watching dont let me stop, go right on but if you feel like you cant bcs there is no romance DO NOT WATCH IT. I loved the fact it focused on friendship and nothing more.
Definitely gonna rewatch over and over for many many many more years👍❤👍

Old but Gold ???

It has been almost 15 years since the completion of this series. Mara Clara showcased the talents of all the actors. Not one time did i feel the acting was terrible.
Don't even get me started on the story. It was up and down, not that i expected any less of a 158!! Episode series. Even the OST was top notch at least for me. I finished this in 5 days THATS HOW GOOD IT IS. Kathryn has been one of my favorite actors for nearly 5 years but ive never really watched her series, only her movies. This proves she is meant for the business and the actress who played Clara also did a fantastic job. I need to go find out more about her. Let's not even talk about Susan, Christian, Karlo Derick and Lupe. The actors of those roles were fabulous. I dont want to give any spoilers and I won't. Too much happened to even give one spoiler.
The only reason my rewatch value is at an 8 is because this is definitely time consuming and thats all. I still would come back for Martian 😉 moments if you know you know and the love Susan has for Mara

Father like Amante
Mother like Susan
Husband/boyfriend like Christian
Girlfriend like Mara
Brother like Derick
Uncle like Karlo
That would be a perfect world but sadly perfection will never exsist in dramas and im glad to have watched this. Also there's 3 episodes at different areas that dont have English subtitles but i dont think they were that important. I still knew the entire story, back to front ❤️

Unforgettable Korean drama

I'll write about the story, cast, music, rewatch and overall value.
Story:
This story is not for everyone because some people dont like mythical show so this not for you but give it a shot. Trust me i never regretted the decision of watching this. It hooked me from episode one. Definitely needs to release season 2.

Cast: Song Joong ki never fails to deliver i mean look at Descendants of the sun or Vincenzo. He acted both his roles great. He had two completely different personalities for both his characters and id actually think it was another person acting the role because he was that good. Who cant get enough of him though???Plus i cant forget my girl Kim Ji Won, i loved her in Descendants of the sun and am happy to see her be a lead role with Song Joong ki. She has talent and potential to be even better (not saying see hasnt reached her potential but that she has higher potential to unlock)

Music: not alot of music but it was great nonetheless.

Rewatch: i have already rewatched this over ten times and i am not exaggerating. It is literally my cup of coffee (tea)

Overall: this is a must watch, dont stash it in your watch list for years, WATCH IT NOW!!!

Villans!

So much took place in 12 episodes. One thing is for certain is that no one's hand is clean in this drama except the police for once. I didn't really care about who did what because the why's were just so unexplored.

Do jin woo was hands down my favorite character along with the FL's best friend. It's so sad that they're characters were never explored especially Do jin woo. His backstory would've been elite, but they limited it and instead used the time to run around with the villans. I would much rather they answer questions about his background than to have seen the barking they did at each other (I'm talking about the FL's side versus the 'bad' guys)

FL and her daughter were alright. I didn't see much chemistry between them sadly. There was more between her daughter and husband. I have so many questions at the end too. Nothing felt completed. I want to call this an open ending. There is not a lot of action in here, just a lot of talk.

WTF was that?

I left this drama unsatisfied. 18 episodes and every single one lacked depth. The mystery was well done but don't depend on the revenge. All forgiveness around these corners. If you want to leave this drama feeling happy go right ahead and skip. Nothing about this ended properly.
It went from murder mystery to straight garbage. As a viewer you know who the culprit is from episode 11, I will not reveal but it's obvious who it is from around episode 5. The people I felt deserved the most was Yi, Pim and Mate. Put me in handcuffs but none of them deserved the way they were treated and then discarded as an afterthought. Left a sour after taste in the back of your throat. The one person I trusted was Yi and he was the only one who deserved a thank you. If it wasn't for him, this entire story would have gone sideways. It's just a shame that everyone thought he was wrong for his actions. He looked out for his baby brother and his family, and the writer decided it was the wrong steps. Then there are the characters who had an active role in some of the most horrifying things.
Everyone got a slap on the wrist except the good guy who was shunned. How can I feel comfort with this and then for them to all sit around one table and eat together just felt so disjointed from the plot. It's comparable to if a dog started mewing like a cat. I think it was going somewhere until episode 10 and then just went down.
I'm not sure how this is so highly rated maybe because of all the A list actors but nothing can fix those last 4 episodes. I'm being generous with my rating, but I hope I never encounter a drama like this again in my life. Too much time wasted to regret.

This isnt anything ordinary

I loved this drama. I cant give it a full ten because i was irritated at a few things but trust me you wont regret seeing this. It will definitely leave a dent in memories. I usually or infact never watch dramas with prostitution and those topics that just exudes NO but i was surprised that i was hooked by episode 1. I am a romance, bromance, BL type a girl but this threw that away. The love between the father and daughter is something that will make you smile without knowing. This show shows cruelty and wickedness of people but it also shows that no matter how bad things get light can magically come into your life in any form. Your past will eventually catch up to you when it wasnt closed properly so you can move on to the next chapter. If i could i would erase my memory of this show and rewatch it. Trust me this is a must watch.

Cinematography! Vibes! Plot! Characters! Just wow!

This was wonderful. It had so much dept with so little time. Almost wanted to see someone else die for it to continue. Yaya and Ryu sold me to watch this, but Phuwin won me over every time his mouth opened.

I knew the murderer from the get-go. It wasn't too hard to see who had the motive but that plot twist at the end shocked me just like Dalah. The visuals were also done right. When you watched this, you know it's a mystery/thriller genre without even needing a summary. The whole vibe from the first minute was eerie but done in a comfortable way that you can watch this in the middle of the night if you so please.

The chemistry was great between Sarath and Dalah. Don't get me wrong, I know this is not a romance, but it was clear that they are meant for each other. The only hilarious thing to me was how useless the police were in the last episode. I understand it's just a series but Sarath and that other boy from the Aueathepa family were doing more action than the police when holding Ekapop back.

I definitely will rewatch this sometime in the future when I've forgotten the plot or maybe I'll come back for Kris/Sarath/Dalah moments.

Obsessed

Get past the 30-year age gap! you never know about it till someone says it out loud. This drama does a great job of being hilarious and dramatic and also being serious. The story was perfection, and each actor did a great job. I need to see more from all of these actors.

This is romance central so why not speak mainly about it? Tum and Orn were beautiful. The relationship started on a lie but when Tum fell for Orn, he was obsessed till the end of the drama. Orn was similar. There was no major hiccups though there were a few points in the drama that made me sad but that is to be expected in a drama that's trying to say age is just a number. Each age gap relationship had their struggle but worked it out.

I didn't really hate anyone in the drama because there weren't really any villains. That being said, be prepared to be annoyed at Tah, Tum's brother, for the first 6 - 8 episodes. He was just too much; he did end up growing as a person. He may have done some horrible things even with good intentions, but Tum loved him. In life we may hurt, disappoint and betray the people we love but own up to it and ask for forgiveness so life can move forward.

The side characters were mains in a way. Though it was focused mainly on Tum and Orn we still saw a lot of the people in their lives. I wish everyone could see this once in their life.
Love is love even with an age gap.
