A horror turned comedy

I loved this and had to binge it all in less than two days. The story is so close to being a horror with the fact of it being in a whore house, but it was more on the comedic side with slight notes of seriousness dabbled in. I fell in love with almost every character. My only issue was with how the death of characters weren't given more time to feel the sadness. It felt rushed but maybe that was on purpose so we could focus on the other important notes of the story. This isn't really much taking place in the story, but the romance was the center stage.
I couldn't hold my laugh for some moments with Boonta and then I had butterflies every time Chai started speaking and showing his affection to her and only her. I loved Mother Fang even with how she was in the beginning and my favorite has to be Captain Jon. Of course, the main characters are center stage and even going back to the future was done in a surprising yet feel-good way to my brain. I don't want to give away much but just trust me that you won't be disappointed even if you don't normal watch shows within this genre. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it had many life lessons to take away. My favorite being
1. It's not worth it to risk your life for a man. (This was said by Boonta a lot)
2. Love yourself the most especially when you have no family or friends left. (Once again Boonta)
She really was sticking it to everybody in that show.

Minor Spoiler

Her going back to the real world and meeting almost all of them (from the past) again made me emotional. I love that Nithra and Chad loved each other even in their current lifetime. Love transcends time and space...

Simple done the right way

Coming across such a simplistic plot usually has two outcomes for me. I usually think it's boring or just awful, but this set the tone for dramas like it. There was no groundbreaking plot twist or some dark secret. I, for one, thought that this was going to be boring based solely on tik tok edits. Choi Hyun Wook looked so childish to me, he is only freshly 23, 22 or so when this drama was being filmed, acting like a 30-year-old but somehow, I was proven wrong when I started it and I love being proven wrong. He broke out of being type casted as high school only roles and I'm proud.
Another thing that bothers me is younger man/ older woman troupe the dynamic is always messy and comes off weird many times with the woman acting like the man is a baby and it being her only reason for not waiting to date him. I know you can't escape the societal structure so easily, but this drama had a hint of that but a lot more love. While the slight gap was talked about it was never the reason for the fight (It was the lie). Then when they became adults it transitioned smoothly, there was no "I'm not respecting him because he is younger" or "She is so old she doesn't even know what I'm talking about" moments. It was all fun and games. All love from the two.
The chemistry was off the charts and although their past made me a little sad it couldn't wipe the big smile off my face when they were dating. There are so many lessons on love you can learn from My dearest nemesis.
1. There are two sides to a story
2. Love every part of a person (even their weirdness)
3. You can trust another person even after being betrayed if you love them enough
4. DON'T misplace your anger
There's so much more but those stuck out to me.
Just like any other story there were characters I hated and those I loved (main characters and the second mains). I'm glad I gave this show a chance, it made me a little happier than I am and maybe it can do that for you too. The best part is you don't have to take the drama too serious. It makes your heart flutter with warmth and comfort without too much worry.

I felt....

I've never seen a medical drama done this way before... it somehow felt light hearted more than serious but that's what makes it so...different. It's a good kind of different. It is able to make the doctors seem more human even the main, Dr Baek, he felt so human. What do I mean? To start, we barely got any story for each character's background but that's what I expected with only eight episodes and it being a medical drama but even without the background you can see his personality in every interaction. He takes nothing too serious, except for the lives of patients.
Then we have his assistant doctor, Jae won. They were the first to meet from the trauma center team and the chemistry was there instantly and once again he felt like a normal person though we only see him in the medical setting, it didn't feel like he was some genius with split personality, like some of the other medical kdramas I've watched. He became Dr. Baek's student with the most beautiful reason "Because he was running" (I won't explain that bit). He just wanted a stable job and then this new doctor showed up out of nowhere and became the reason he doesn't care for stability. Even as he grows in the drama, we still see him asking questions which should be expected when working with a doctor as "crazy" as Dr. Baek.
Nurse Gangster can't remember name was what sealed this drama down. She was firm yet soft. Once again, she had character as a character. Though nurses get looked down upon in a hospital setting in these shows and real life it's clear that she has a heart for the patients and doesn't act abnormally tough but tough enough for you to know that she can do whatever she wants. Her always being protective over them was cute and gave big sister vibes.
Then there is the Anesthesiologist, not going to pretend to remember his name even though I just finished. He was that guy. When all the other anesthesiologists didn't care to help the trauma center, he did. He was there every time. You can't question his loyalty. He may have had the least screen time of the other main characters he shined through whenever he was there when they needed help in surgery.
There was also enemy became friend, Yu rim. At first, he was bugging the hell out of me but then he warmed my heart when he changed. He may not be the most intelligent doctor, but he does care.
Though we had a few villain-like characters one that I assume went to jail I think everyone can agree that the biggest villain was money. The financial areas in medical dramas always infuriate me but that's what you expect. The cast had the chemistry to make this story fantastic, and it had not one single boring episode. I need more, season 2 please.

Short and Sweet

I cant explain my feelings for this drama. It was just too short that i wanted to cry i wished it was longer. I am new to the faces but i loved there acting overall. I watched this a few months ago but i just got around to write a review now.
I have rewatched this numerous of times on numerous occasions. You could finish this in less than 4 hours if you binge watch it. Please watch it you wont regret but if you dont like BL then this is not the creamer for your coffee, oh to hell with that just watch the drama and get out of reality. Sweet, Short and rare.
