Okay, just a couple of them:
1. The bad guy was part of the historical "cast" of the drama - WHY? Which implication had that and since it seems to be none, why do it? 2. The bad guy is crazy and obviously a "selfbelieve shaman". Why? What implication did this generate? Or was it just done because the FL past life was a shaman and to catch him because of the plant he put into ML office ? Seriously? 3. Since the bad guy is crazy. Why the hell would he leave after stabbing the ML? He defeated the ML, there was no third party that made him out and made him flee. Since he is cold blooded and crazy - it makes no sense for him to run. 4. The interaction with the FL when he attacked her through the window ... really? FL does not fight back but has a friendly chat with him? :-D 5. Na Yeon - even if she is "evil" I do believe she is smart to some decree. There is no reason why she would give the bad guy clothes of ML. I would understand FL's clothes out of spite, but ML? Hell no ... 6. Okay so Jae Kyung does not like the FL but likes the FL but does not want to be together with the FL and we never know why he does not want to be together with the FL while at some point - for no explained reason at all - he does want to be together with the FL but does not fight to be together with the FL ... Watching Jae Kyung was exhausting - also: why the hell was he a character with the historical part? To get enought screentime? It could be karma to have him create a chance for ML and FL to finally be together - but since he does not know about his past and we have no real indication of it, all of it is just speculation. 7. Why the hell does the FL have NO friends whatsoever ? I mean she got along with her co-worker in the first episode before being transfered. So its not iike she is completely unlikeable. Even if she does not have any friends among her co-workers, why is there no friend of any part of her life ? Just because we later find out that in her past life she was a loner living in the woods? Is that the reason? Well we do not get an explanation, so ... 8. The whole spell fiasco: Does it work? Does it not work? If it does work, is it even real love? It should work since she does not blush anymore after her "fair skin" spell. But then again the love of ML for FL would be because of the spell. How did the love of ML transform to real love from fake love if the spell is real? Does the love spell explain the bad guy (well he did kill his wife before ...)? But if it is not real: what exactly happened with the curse (his disease)?
There are more, but these are the ones I could just write down from the top of my head
Why do you leave a positive comment for those wo didnt watch this drama yet? ;-)Sorry, don't mind me - just trolling…
But its basically not about positive or negative - its about feedback. But of course objective feedback - which can be positive or negative. I rated this drama a 8 - which is still relativly good. I agree that there are some comments that are unnecessary because not every thought has to be written down - but thats the problem of the internet ;-)
However this drama hat much more potential - the script was just bad. Its not just about the story that was lacking. Its about the details that were just bad. There are so much "errors" and "loopholes" in this drama, it's insane.
However the acting was great, which made up for the script to some degree
Hi officially get together in ep15 breakup is ep31 and get back together in ep39... they are together for another…
Thx for the answer. I did not watch it so far - waiting on all episodes to come out. I dislike most of the drama where the mc get (back) together in the last episode. So I am still hesitating to start this ...
I totaly agree with you. I'm very surprised for all the hate for this drama. Although some plot lines can be a…
I do not think this drama deserves hate but it did not live up to its potential.
Bo Ah and Rowoon were the heart and soul of this drama. If you switch them out, this drama becomes completely mediocre.
This script was a mess and that is what people did not like. Na Yeon acting like that with the clothes makes NO SENSE whatsoever. The historical fantasy part was done very weak. The historical storyline is weak and the implications into the present are weakly build as well. The character of Jae Kyung was all over the place ...
Simply put: a lot of us are not happy with the script and saw much more potential. The romance was good in this drama and the chemistry was good. However the scripting from "forced love to true love" was not executed that well again.
Bo Ah and Rowoon had a lot of great moments together which made this drama overall quite nice to watch.
Lets be clear on something: the fact that they got into Sandbox was because they won CODA. So thats their own…
Okay - when I talked about "Them making it into Sandbox" I was talking about them getting to be a part of the selection process where ultimately they got Dal Mi to come to SamSanTech as the CEO and where able to "STAY" at Sandbox.
Being able to participate at the selection process had everything to do with CODA because before they won that, HJP did not want them be part of the selection process.
Them staying at Sandbox was of course because of Dal Mi and her skills - I agree.
However - when did HJP actually speak to the SamSan-Trio about their shortcomings? Right before Dal Mi's pitch. Why did he tell them that? Because they were arguing about not letting Dal Mi do the pitch.
He was arguing for Dal Mi and not to help the trio. He even told them: "If you let Dal Mi do the presentation and she fails, I will your plan B and personally invest"
So yes - he told them, that they would not make it because the pitch is their (one of) shortcomings. However - he only did that, to make sure Dal Mi gets to do the pitch. He could care less at that point about the trio ...
That does not count as helping them, it was 100% about helping Dal Mi.
Trying watching this for the third time but I drop it again. I just cannot really love this show or the characters…
Lets be clear on something: the fact that they got into Sandbox was because they won CODA. So thats their own doing. Before winning CODA, HJP did not give a f*
There is reasonable room to believe that because of that fact alone, they would have made it into Sandbox with or without HJP.
When did HJP ever really help Do San? He helped Do San to pay his own debt - thats not "for" Do San. Sansam Tech only got into Sandbox because of CODA and they probably would have gotten in with or without him after winning that competition. He helped Dal Mi with the first presentation He did his job Mentoring them after Dal Mi choose him He tries to cut between Do San and Dal Mi Even the offer "I am your plan B" was completely for Dal Mi and everybody knew it.
He only ever criticised him at every point. "You will not make it" "You will not make it"
I don't think there is ever any "kind" and helping moment from HJP to Do San, for Do San until episode 14. Any other moment was not helping Do San, it was helping himself by using Do San.
To say HJP helped them succeed is really laughable if in truth he did not believe once that they would get in. Has he states many times. He helped Dal Mi and only Dal Mi which he did for the most part because of his debt to his grandmother until they got into Sandbox. After they enter Sandbox, he becomes their official Mentor and he does his job.
Lol you really hate the screen writer. Well it can't be helped, because of China's strict censorship a lot of…
It varies from county to country. In europe there are multiple countries where underage drinking is legally allowed. However with most of those countries - like germany or austria - the percentage of alcohol differentiates the legal drinking age.
Germany: beer is allowed at 16 while hard liquor is allowed at 18.
Hidden Love has no positive Puppy Love message (quite the opposite).
I don't think there was a single "love tension" moment between Dal Mi and HJP in the entire show.Dal Mi always…
I believe many interpreted the rich storyline behind HJP completely different. He was first introduced and had much richer backstory. That's why a ton of people believed he was the main character.
However: his rich storyline was about introducing Do San and the starting point why Do San and Dal Mi would meet in the present. The setup was through HJP but not for HJP. Many viewers did not get this point or too late.
Dal Mi fell in love with Do San the second he "rescued" her at the networking party. This act of kindness and the fact that even HJP had to admit to her later, that Do San showing up at the networking party was completely voluntary and without any benefits, let Dal Mi not only fall in love with him at first sight but also continue to believe in his love after she found out the truth about HJP & Do San.
The love at first sight theory is very simple if you just watch the interaction between them the second they met - yes, she can't keep her hands off of him. Also the way she hung on his every word. The "romantic" explanation of machine learning and the fact that she found everything very "fascinating" he told her ;-)
That is why there are two very underrated moments in this drama: 1. The first meeting of HJP and Do San, Do San !rejecting! the money to go to the networking party. But going anyway after he read the letters as an act of kindness 2. The meeting of Dal Mi and HJP at the restaurant after she found out the truth about the letters and HJP / Do San. Here HJP makes it clear, that he does like her, but he also tells the truth about Do San and that he did a lot of things that had nothing to do with HJP trying to pay his debt to her grandma.
He tells her about the fact, that Do San went to the networking party without any benefits attached.
If either of those moments go differently, there is a very big chance the love story would not be able to unfold. (The second point could have been delivered different but it hat to be delivered) That confirmed for Dal Mi that the moment and reason she fell in love with him, was not a lie, I believe that this is also the reason why she never could move on from him.
I do find it off that they're spending so much time dwelling on a SML's backstory though.
Because it is not just his backstory - it is also the backstory of Dal Mi and her pen friend "Do San".
Maybe thats what people are confusing. The rich backstory of the SML is not for the SML, but to explain the starting point of the main couple and become a trial of their love during the story.
It would've also worked if there were two kids: HJP and HJP2.0 One helps Dal Mi's grandma in the past to write those letters The other helps Dal Mi's grandma in the present to find the actual Nam Do San
But they merged both into one character and gave him a one sided love in the middle of the series.
They betrayed the viewers by making it seem like HJP was the ML all along and midway switched him to a SML. He…
I don't think there was a single "love tension" moment between Dal Mi and HJP in the entire show.
Dal Mi always saw him as a mentor (and Do Sans Friend). She did consider for a short time at the early episodes that he may like her, but that was denied.
You could say that the most intimate moment these two had, was at episode 13 when he told her: "If you are in trouble, I wished I would be the first one you remember and call"
Then she gets in trouble and literally after she tried dozen of other people and called them for help, she remembered that sentence and before she could call him, Do San called.
That was basically the most "romantic" interaction they had and I would not call that romantic. Everything else was completely one sided by HJP and Dal Mi never knew any of it.
Happy ending YES - She ends up with Do San and Ji Pyung accepts her decision. Love triangle yes but it never gets…
I believe they get together at episode 7.
However they do breakup because of a business mistake they made and Do San had to leave the country for three years - otherwise they would have been suit and probably lost. Thats episode 12 -> Timeskip three years and the boys are back in town at episode 13. Episode 15 the leads are back together.
You cannot really say that it is a Love Triangle. HJP starts developing feeling around episode 4/5? and tells Dal Mi at episode 10. But Dal Mi never showed any real interest in him.
He did like try minutes before the male lead came back, to tell Dal Mi about his feelings again, but once Do San was back, Dal Mi never thought about him twice.
I like the first drama slightly more - however there is a love triangle, so it depends wether or not this would…
Glad you liked both. On the one hand both drama are completely different. Their vibe is different, their story setting is completely different.
But the main couple has amazing chemistry in either drama. I'd say the chemistry is a little better in OYGM because WZQ got it down to act cute and be smoldering angry :-D He did not have much of a chance to show this with TLYGM
In a weird way sometimes it feels like the family of these three in TLYGM is the logical sequel to OYGM =) The family dynamic is exactly how I would have imagined SC and GX would be like with a kid. Spoiling dad and the little strict mom who tries to get her spoiling husband under controle :-D
I do hope we can see them in another drama together in the future (5 years or so), however that kind of script would have to be amazing to be on par with their work that they created together so far.
Which is better their 1st drama or this.. I might get dissapoint on their first because I like the plot of this…
I like the first drama slightly more - however there is a love triangle, so it depends wether or not this would be your cup of tea. Most of the time I am very annoyed with the love triangles in dramaland, however this was not too bad. Once You Get Married has probably more romance in it. The details ARE SO BAD. I still rated this drama an 8 because of the acting and chemistry - so its not like I disliked the script.
But there are so many details done wrong.
