These kinds of movies are my kind of tea, I loved it based on my pure enjoyment! Park Hae Soo never disappoints and I liked the dynamic between him and Sol Kyung Go. I can feel a sequel in the horizons.... I'll be glad to watch it!
but she's the most annoying character I've ever seen in a drama + a cheaterš She should have choose an other…
technically that means sheās doing a good job though, with her role that isā¦. she probably wants to expand her horizon and try different kinds of characters, canāt fault her for that
Not sure if others like me, who watched TMOPB right before ELOD, think the same the first episode of ELOD feels…
It might be like that because their story in ELOD is different than how it was portrayed in TMOPB, and it's because ELOD is based on the actual novel. TMOPB writers didn't have the rights to the novel so that's why it might seem like watching two different kinds of stories with the same characters. But trust me, their story in ELOD is way better :)
this continuous amnesia plotline is very tiring and i'm sick of it. also, i'm disappointed how YG has been dumbed down to someone who easily got entrapped AGAIN by Sa Ra (he literally runs a company, how did he lose so much brain cells LMAO) in comparison to how he was at the beginning where he would literally take zero crap from her. and Dan Dan has to step up, she's taking far too long to do anything about the situation (she should've stepped up when he had amnesia and not doubt him the entire time, it's all about communication rlly), her character is being reduced to just the "live-in-tutor" and "i'll quit but the kids said no so i'm staying and then leaving," and ppl have mentioned this but she has less screentime compared to witch Sa Ra and she's the MFL like oml halp ;-;
now i've got trust issues. whenever gong yoo is in anything where he's a father or has a relationship with a child, he dies, and it's twice now! like damn š (mayhaps luna can save him and we'll see him in s2 but...)
YG being angry at the end of ep.26 is just what I needed to get over the amnesia episodes lol (they were rlly hard to get thru ngl), finally he's back!! Hopefully DD doesn't stay too distant or angry at YG for too long because it really wasn't his fault but the annoying three witches. Why do I get the feeling that DD going to America is going to play in soon? If I'm right (which is like a 40%), rip to us LOL
bahaha.. but when his wife's disease was acute, he inject certain liquid from their research right away. i just…
episode trailers usually have at least one scene/moment that is framed to make the viewers think that that's what happened but at the end it didn't end like what we thought. we should give him a chance before saying anything. and quite frankly it's obvious that he does care for yi hyun and sae bom but we just don't see it demonstrated well at times. he may have been a bit selfish with his wife (and kid), but like someone mentioned, it was untested so he did risk their lives. also, every character has been selfish in the drama, the leads as well, if you're going to say he's selfish, then everyone else is too lol
Yeah, this whole amnesia bit is just so...meh. I differ somewhat on the characters though (I only care about the…
yes I agree, the lying and scheming really is infuriating. as for the FL, so far she's ok? like you said though, she really is too naive with certain things but then again her character is kind of refreshing? i've seen many family drama's and so far she's the better FL that i've seen so far so that says something lol (well to me that is)
I was dreading watching the amnesia episodes but I caught up just now and.... wow. I'm sorry but the only characters I can care about now is YoungDan, DD's uncle, DD's father (and perhaps his sister but eh), and the kids. Everyone else are just money-grabbing, selfish, irritating and just downright dumb lol. I guess Mirim and the son of DD's father's sister is ok but then again they're related(? dunno how that will work lol. Anyways, hope the amnesia plot finishes up soon because I'm missing mature YG in suits lol and plus he needs to remember so DD doesn't get whisked off by the new guy and cry when she's reminded of the moments they shared before ;-;
truthfully it wasn't all that bad. although the pacing and development is all over the place (and there were characters that rlly had no purpose to the story/drama), it had it's moments. i literally bawled my eyes out when the parents sacrificed themselves and their baby survived. now the ending really has me pondering on what was the purpose of the woman being revived again. if she can come back to life then what does that mean for the rest of the people who were "sent to hell"? i'm hoping if they confirm a s2, that the parents get to reunite with their child because what's the point in not doing so? also, this is why i hate watching cults stuff. it really just goes to show how easily people can be manipulated into a belief and how everything can turn to sh** so quickly. humans are gullible and fearful creatures and cults eat that up. arrowhead members can freely beat people up and people actually thank them for it. members of the new truth have power wherever they go, and they don't get held accountable for the atrocious acts they do. just like that new truth member at the end, beating up that old man and people just watched (until the police/security(? came in and arrested him as they should). it's a harsh reality check, because truth be told, this can happen, and very easily at that. but enough of my ranting, hellbound was an alright binge, and i wouldn't mind seeing a s2!
lowkey I think the writers are just trying to make us think that two of the three leads are related somehow, but in reality they aren't, just three unrelated strangers connected by the events in 1984, but then again who knows, I have too many theories and unanswered questions at this point for me to expect anything concrete yet so let's wait and see!
This drama is moving at the speed of light!! That's a welcome change honestly, I lowkey thought that the amnesia plot would at least be after ep. 20 or something but here we are lol. Idk how long they'll do the amnesia plot but hopefully not for too long. Imagine waiting a whole month before it's done, yikes. But I'm looking forward to what it will bring. I think they might being going down the route of YG falling for DD in a more refreshed/innocent kind of way and it'll be interesting in seeing how their relationship develops that way (if the writers do that instead of giving us a long road of angst). Hopefully Sa Ra won't come back and take advantage of that, she and DD's uncle are doing alright. I was thinking YG's friend would help them get through it, but he doesn't know who YG's gf is, so I hope he doesn't mistaken Sa Ra as the gf, because if so.... BIG RIP
Also, every mom in this drama is just horrible honestly, except DD's father's sister. She's alright. Everyone just wants money money money. When will people stop being so greedy and only care about money? Drama or not, it's all the same honestly. Just can't believe that Se Ryeon's mother would still marry her daughter off just to get the shares when she knows her daughter isn't happy and still adamant on the fact that the "groom" was not capable of doing that, etc. She rlly went and just tried to sell off her daughter basically, despicable.
Oh dear, I hope YG doesn't break it off with Dan Dan because too many people are mistaking them for being family. It's tough I know, but if you guys like each other so much, then what other people say about the relationship should be ignored. Love is love after all. But I can just feel it bubbling up, hope they still have at least until ep. 20 (and more but that's too greedy of a family drama ngl) of happiness before all hell breaks loose. Also I really hope DD's mother doesn't try to break them up, because quite frankly I think she doesn't have the right to anyways after abandoning her like that, regardless of what drove her decision to do so.
All three of them have a connection to the Chimera cases, with the Doctor being the son of the man who was accused to be the suspect and was abused to the point he just killed himself, while the ML finds a photo of the Cap back then, and the Profiler is still in question (but we know she was a victim(? of something in her childhood that was definitely traumatic). We also know that the Doctor and the Profiler were both adopted from Korea, so that's something to pay attention to bc it might be significant in the future. In my opinion, I don't think the Doctor is the killer. They're just making it way too obvious and coincidental for that to make sense. He either knows who the killer is, wants to get revenge/put them to justice by putting himself out there, or he does know them but he's trying to protect them, it can go many ways. How very exciting!!
Also... I don't know if this is just me but I think that Park Hae Soo and Claudia Kim have rlly good chemistry lol.
