Excellent casting and I absolutely LOVED the trio, not to mention Choi Daehoon as Hansu was the literal best. Hansu was my favorite in the manhwa and he did a great job portraying him in the LA, as did So Ji Sub and Yoon Kyung Ho as Manager Kim and Jin Cheol (So Ji Sub literally looked exactly like his manhwa counterpart the last episode with those glasses and everything)! Them as a trio was the literal BEST! One of my favorite parts of the manhwa was the trio, they are ride or dies for each other, theyre funny and goofy with each other and also insanely overpowered together. As a manhwa reader, this LA was not to say the greatest, BUT I did like it contrary to the fact. I also loved that we got more interactions between the kids and their dads (Taehoon and Dabin, Taehoon especially!). They did nerf the characters, leave out certain plotlines and overall veered off script the last four episodes BUT honestly whatever. I was hyped seeing Tom Lee at the end and the open ending of MK joining White Tiger Firm!! If there is a second season, I do hope they try to stick to the source material more, because the plotlines/character arcs that occur in the manhwa are crazy good! Overall, I had fun watching this :)

i think they already said what happened to her character, she's getting some training done overseas. i mean at least they didn't kill her character off, so there's a chance for her coming back!

I know Park Ji Hyun couldn't come back for s2 because of scheduling conflicts, but lowkey I feel like they could've made it work if they really wanted her to come back. Like with Moving 2 and recasting Bong Seok due to Lee Jung Ha's scheduling conflicts (which is a CHOICE btw, no hate to the new actor ofc). I'll tune into this because of Ahn Bo Hyun/YiSoo, but I do hope they don't put a romance subplot in this season. I see the romance tag.... anyways we shall see! Hopefully this season is successful enough that it warrants a s3 and Park Ji Hyun can come back.

well it's been retconned essentially, the author rewrote it and it became i think some adhd type chapter, or something of the sorts. they wouldn't adapt it either way.

well it's not officially being translated by webtoon anymore, but it's still ongoing. you can read it online via the scanlaters like hive scans! and technically there are physical volumes (and e-books too). geun dae is a completely original character, I had thought P.O would play Hyun Daniel, but I can imagine why they didn't do it lol. Hyun Daniel and Gu Sera are the additional team members later on in the webtoon. not a fan of them introducing a loveline in this because there was none in the webtoon, but whatever ig TT^TT

Get Schooled and Study Group are still ongoing, currently have more than 200 chapters each! :)

For the webtoons, Get Schooled (aka Teach You a Lesson) and Study Group are in a universe called the Blue String Universe where it centers/is based on the lives of teenagers and people in their 20’s, school fighting, etc. Han Rim was in Hanlim Gym (another webtoon in the same universe) and is in Get Schooled. The person who runs the gym is Gamin’s Uncle. I’m not entirely sure if they’re going to actually connect the drama’s together too (I think they have already tho but I may be wrong). And recently there was a crossover webtoon (is completed) called the Great War that had Get Schooled, Study Group and How to not Die all in one webtoon, it was quite a nice read!!

just binged this and it was GREAT!!! as someone who reads/is caught up with the webtoon, I think they nailed it as well as they could for an adaptation. i never doubted kim muyeol as na hwajin, he was the perfect fit and rlly encapsulated him as a character! jin ki joo was great as han rim! loved choi gang seok and na hwajin's bond, we don't get a lot of that in the webtoon so i'm glad they expanded it in the drama! i had also thought that geun dae was going to be a version of hyun daniel, but nope he's an original character - plus i can guess why they didn't bring him in as a character... anyways it is so satisfying to watch the bullies, teachers/adults, corrupt politicians, etc. get what's coming to them. the only thing i didn't particularly like was the addition of a love line between han rim and geun dae. the webtoon has no romance and doesn't need it (and even if there was, it's not something that would happen until like the very end if it even does, although it has been hinted here and there and yes i'm talking about han rim and hwajin) and the same goes for the drama imo. there wasn't a need for it. that being said, i very much enjoyed the drama and i do hope there's a chance for a s2!! loved the ending :)

also fellow webtoon readers, did anyone notice that they might have dropped a brief cameo of hanlim gym in episode 6? because hanrim chases one of the juvenile delinquents into a gym and someone there was like “oh you’re here/back hanrim?” and the overall setting looks a bit like hanlim gym… anyways i could be wrong but it would be cool if that was an Easter egg! means they might to connect this with study group (the drama adaptation) ^^

yes, they're both part of the blue string universe which is a shared multiverse of YLAB's highschool themed webtoons. not sure if they're going to connect the drama's the same way the webtoons are though

This was a very heartwarming show and I loved to see the trio and the villagers interacting, the meaningful bonds they shared. I sobbed watching the final episode TT^TT. Can't wait for s2!
