Honestly the novel itself was a bit rushed with the last few chapters BUT the author did write an epilogue to mitigate that lol. I mean as long as it was a HE in the drama, I can take it. But last minute sorts of endings rlly kill me 😭 cdrama’s rarely hack it but oh well!

So I basically spoiled myself by reading the comments but basically the ending wasn’t the greatest 😭 as someone who read the novel, the epilogue was great and I rlly do hope the drama gets an epilogue seeing as how it left many watchers in dissatisfaction (me when I catch up).

Well they’re currently still in the A Zhu and Zhao Ming arc, which is their past lives, and it will end in ep. 35 seeing as ep. 36’s preview shows we’re back in the present. If you’re talking about XXC & MXL, then no, we’re still in the past atm.

As much as I like the cute moments between AZ and ZM in their past life, they’re rlly dragging this arc a bit too long. I binged the entire novel yesterday and this arc only had two chapters and that was it (granted the novel did end a bit rushed but it’s a HE so who cares 😂). I want to see Demon Lord ZM and MXL interact asap, and we’re getting that in ep. 36 according to the preview! I hope they’ll be able to end this well and we get a HE as we should be getting it.

Binged up to episode 30 and I’m absolutely ENTHRALLED. The story is great and the way everything connects is very nicely woven. Can’t believe it’s going to end soon 😭 Hope they’ll carry this drama to the end, well, and not ruin it. I’m not sure how they’ll be able to wrap this all up in like 8 episodes but I have hopes! Excited to see more of A Zhu and Zhao Ming, and in general more MXL & ZM moments because damn ZM is HOT 😮‍💨 I have to say, BinBin looks absolutely amazing and hot in this and Sun Zhenni is absolutely beautiful and cute, what a cp. Wang Duo is doing a rlly great job as well, playing the villain. I have to say, although I can sympathize with TM to an extent, I don’t rlly like him in general. But in general, so far VERY good, MXL & XXC rlly pulling my heart strings, what a great romance and chemistry!!

episode 21 has me SCREAMING!!! that kiss... oh my goodness 🔥 haven't seen a kiss like that for a while, MXL x XXC rlly make me want to giggle and kick my feet

The ML owning a pet deer is a first, I think that's so funny too 😂

I honestly think JCY letting Mudan solve her own problems while providing a bit of support from the sidelines is great example of him understanding her and her own capabilities and determination. He knows she can handle herself and is capable of making things x2 better with her cleverness and insight. She's not a damsel in distress, she can handle herself, and him letting her do so is an acknowledgement of that. It's a fresh direction compared to the ML's that help the FL's with everything, riding in like a knight in shining armor. Can't wait to see more of their interactions, the fish moment was cute!

Also looking forward to this new character, ZF, and the dynamic between the three of them!!

currently on episode 8 and i'm hooked. seeing mudan's journey and her strength and determination to pave her own path is great to watch. the liu family is absolutely despicable and hope they get what they deserve. jiang chang yang is a very amusing and interesting character. its the same trope of the ml hiding his true intentions and skills and faking an aloof and "corrupt" character persona, but li xian does it well. i cant wait to see more of the leads interactions and the development, their dynamic is fun so far. (and for ppl saying that its boring, nothings happening yet, etc. there’s quite literally only 10 episodes released and there’s a second part with an additional 24 episodes, be patient lol)

2ML syndrome is rlly high for this drama apparently, I mean good for them 😂 luckily I never get it. But in a general sense, I’ve seen it everywhere, not just here.

I don’t doubt his good character and looks, but I just find it kinda funny because the ML is also like that too. I guess I’m just drawn to the ML more 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm sorta caught up with the drama atm and honestly so far so good! Only thing that kinda throws me off though, is how many ppl rlly like the 2ML and ship the FL with him. Although they have an interesting dynamic so far, in the romantic sense, it's bland to me or more like I just don't see it. On the other hand, the two main leads have GREAT chemistry and am looking forward to more of their scenes! Although we're already in the angst so I'm going to have to prepare myself!

The webtoon is fire, and kim mooyeol is a great pick!! Excellent in action drama's.

watched this after having it on my tbw list for like ever and I enjoyed it a lot! I actually watched the Hindi version first and fell in love with the movie and did some research and realized that it was a remake! after watching OG thai version, i can definitely see a lot of similarities between the two but also the differences. didn't rlly like all the screentime the ex-fiance had but other than that, everything was great! rlly wished they gave us more scenes between song and ann, i rlly wanted to see what happened next! but overall, it was a very wholesome and nice movie with romance that you can feel from the characters even when they haven't even met each other face to face!
