honestly i've seen way worse. it wasn't bad for just a simple watch, I think all the criticism is a bit over the top because frankly what did you expect lol. and i got some real good laughs watching this too so win win
first of all, ep. 10 took me out like seriously someone hit my knees and I fell, IM A CHANGED PERSON. the "look only at me" + "i like you. only you" AND "aegiya kaja! kapshida uri aegi! oppa will cook ramen for you" is living in my head rent free. it's all i've been thinking about ALL DAY AND NIGHT. no because he rlly said let's go MY baby, I will never be the same. also the way he legitimately passed out for a few seconds after eun ha kissed him? THIS MAN IS PEAK LOSERISM AND I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! and the kisses at the end? phew, I really do think uhm tae goo did a good job, made me blush and squeal like a little girl. eun ha is a lucky girlie and ji hwan is a lucky guy. i'm just waiting for their dating era and for me to scream, giggle, kick my feet the whole time. i also havent laughed this much watching a drama for a while, my sweet mobster is rlly bringing me back from my disappointment in kdrama's these recent years, the POWER!

finished the lakorn today and I honestly have to say it was an enjoyable watch. the leads have good chemistry which is a major factor of why I kept watching. although I sped through a bit, the romance was sweet and cute. would love to see the leads get paired up again!
not a fan of how he was to eun ha in ep. 8 after the whole taek situation but i get where he's coming from. eun ha is going to make him work for it in the next episodes lol and i'm going to love every second of it!! also, despite how much i dislike the prosecutor i think he did tell eun ha the truth about who's hyun woo and i can't wait till this plotline is over. i need fluffy cute dating era ok 😭poor seo ji hwan getting stabbed and hit by a car by the same minion (why do I get the feeling there's a lot more to that guy than just being an underling...) STOP HURTING HIM!! can't wait for the next episodes, wednesday could not come quicker
"just imagine that I'm a penguin" the way that I screeched?! no because seriously what's not to love about this man?? he is the epitome of "looks like he can kill you but is actually a cinnamon roll." PROTECT HIM AT ALL COSTS!!! also the way he flexed his shoulders was insanely hot to me (I guess I'm a shoulder girl now) and also funnily cute because how obvious can he be? the romance is seriously romancing, I'm rlly in love with this drama *cough uhm tae goo cough.* how will I survive waiting for the next episodes after that preview 😭 p.s. I just know that Ye Na is going to be a very annoying problem (which I hope they don't drag out), and ofc the prosecutor as well because ugh. he's not denying that he is possibly her childhood friend, just going with it because he wants to get close to her, and the way he lets his own prejudice cloud his judgement??? how is he a prosecutor honestly.

I would assume so, although I'm not sure how far they'll take it. I have a feeling that it'll be more like the leads liking each other and the 2ML is unrequited love.

Well that solves it LOL and yes, he was great in Save Me 2! He does more movies than drama's, I'd recommend you check out his movies, great performances all around.
After binging the first four episodes, I am OBSESSED. I have been waiting for this drama to come out for a while now and they did not disappoint at all. The chemistry is insane, I saw it in Save Me 2 so I'm rlly glad they're the leads in this. With that being said, I really hope a love triangle and unnecessary misunderstanding's won't mess up the story, mayhaps they'll do a bromance between the prosecutor and mobster although seeing the animosity between them, it'll take some time for that. My gut says its SJH who is the childhood friend, it's just too obvious to make the 2ML that. On another note, I'm so happy to see Uhm Tae Goo play this kind of role. Although he's amazing at playing serious roles, I think this is a great opportunity for him to showcase his wide variety of talent. Sun Hwa is also doing really well, they both play off each other great! I'd like to add, the scenes where SJH was drunk was one of the best things I've watched for some time, it was cute, funny, and wholesome in general. Can't wait for more episodes!! <3

For all the people who are wondering if they should watch this or not... I'd say give it a try. When I first tried watching it, I dropped it on the first couple of episodes, bored out of my mind. But then I gave it another try a year later and thank goodness I did. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but give it a chance at least and see. I'm usually the type to get bored when there's more than 50 episodes involved, but I was captivated and watched every second of it till the end. And I've also rewatched it at least two times and that says volumes because 78 episodes ya'll, it ain't no joke lol. Wanted to leave this comment here before I begin my third rewatch HAHA :)
