That ending! It's been a while since I last watched the anime but I was psyched to see Shinichi cameo at the end! I'm actually really hoping that there's going to be a s2 because I would love to see interactions between Shinichi/Migi and Su-In/Heidi. I think they did a good job with this, and the characters were great (Su-In, Chul Woo, Kang Woo, Chief lady!!).
so far it's not too bad, I'm interested to see more of the ML and FL, I don't mind the flashbacks, gives us more context. excited for the next two episodes!! also, the mdl rating system is horrendous lmao
After finishing the first two episodes, I'm quite excited to see more! I've been seeing a lot of discourse on the ML and FL. I mean so far, they're ok. Their opinion and reactions of each other are understandable imo, and I'm liking the ML. Although it can be thoroughly annoying that the FL and the other team member guy assume the worst of the ML but I can't necessarily blame them. Most of the times, chaebol sons/daughters leave a sour impression on law enforcement because they get to get away with a lot of things and never get held responsible, and their attitudes don't help either. The ML is not making it any easier for them at times as well. It's easy to have that misconception about them, and even harder to change that view. With time and development, this issue that many ppl seem to have a problem with will soon be solved. I mean it is just only two episodes right now. The ML will definitely undergo development and so will the FL. Besides that, it's a pretty enjoyable watch.
I have decided to give it a try based on your comment. It's becoming a pattern for most dramas to have a slow…
I hope you'll be able to enjoy it! I think it actually had quite a fast start for me, they jumped right into things and I really enjoyed how they set it up. And yes, I do too, almost in every one I've watched. Idk why they always like to do that and never follow through until certain parts to "further" the story or give the male lead the spotlight. The FL in this one was actually pretty good, there were some bumps and bruises along the way but it was to be expected. Towards the end, it was a bit more unbearable but it was nothing absolutely bad per say. Let me know how it goes! :)
My theory is that tae sang actually have Najin in his body and is somehow able to control it and doesnt turn into…
But she did turn into a monster. Gato put the serum inside the water in the cup in that room. Someone drank from it but they didn't indicate who, and actually it was implied that two people drank it. There can be a possibility that Tae Sang drank it but he's resilient to it. But it's all speculation lol

That's kind of my theory atm too, because that would make the most sense. I wonder what makes him different, if he's able to control the najin in his body and not turn into a monster.
The only thing that boggles me the most after finishing part 2, is the very last scene with Tae Sang in the modern world, under a different name. I'm pretty sure that's him in the flesh, not a descendant or anything, and that scar on his neck is puzzling. Was he secretly experimented on when he was at Maeda's house? Did she have something done to him? I don't think he's a najin, but then again nothing is for certain. I'm just wondering how it's possible to see him in more present times, which leads me to the next question, if there might be a s2, will it be based in modern times?? I'm assuming there's a s2 or will be at some point because of the multiple cliffhangers they gave us at the end of the episode. I'm still a bit overwhelmed with all the things they threw at us the last episode and more, but for now, it was a decent watch.
I enjoyed this drama way more than I thought! Great story and characters, and the acting was great! In my opinion, Rowoon did a great job in this. His acting was good and I don't think it was bad at all, he was acting according to his character and that says enough by itself. I liked the romance in the drama overall, between all the couples. The main CP was well developed and really touched my heart. Contrary to the ratings and certain reviews/comments, I'd say this drama is definitely worth a watch!
Condolences to his wife and kids, friends, and loved ones.
